Centrally-located to major Northern Michigan cities (less than 30 min. to Gaylord, Cheboygan, Mackinaw City, Petoskey & Harbor Springs), this is an ideal summer getaway!

Vacation Fun Times Two

We just completed our second stay at this property after being here last year. We have appreciated the convenience of the location, the logistics of two separate spaces, the conveniences of home, and the responsiveness and helpfulness of the owners. We discovered many things to do right in the immediate area.

The home was amazing, exactly as described. The entire property was very clean, comfortable and inviting for our family and friends group. Liz was very responsive and provided everything we needed and then some. She let us know about the 4th of July fireworks at a nearby park that was within walking distance. Burt Lake did not fail on a fantastic show, which was in our opinion was the best show and better than our big city display. The home was well stacked, even a nice beach wagon to pull 11 fold up chairs to watch fireworks. Our son even thought the deluxe XL fold up cot was very comfortable. We had a wonderful vacation. The area was so peaceful and quiet. Central spot to go anywhere in Northern Michigan We hope to return again.

Wonderful!

Our group consisted of 15 people total (8 adults, 6 teenagers and 1 five y/o) and we all stayed at the house very comfortably. Houses were clean and well stocked with necessities. The neighborhood is peaceful and it is a short walk to a nice beach area. We all enjoyed our stay!

Great Week in Michigan!

This was a perfect property for a larger group that still wanted spaciousness and comfort--no one needed to sleep on a couch or sit on the floor! Both houses were nicely appointed and contained many creature comforts. It was convenient to places we wanted to explore, including the Upper Peninsula. All in all, it turned out to be just what we wanted for a family get together.

Fantastic Place

The homes were beautifully decorated. The host thought of everything to make our stay enjoyable. There were outdoor games, indoor games, a wagon & scooter for the little ones. Beach days were easy due to the host having a beach cart to haul our stuff. She had beach chairs & extra beach towels. She had the house well stocked with supplies such as garbage bags, toilet paper, paper towels etc. Communication was excellent & she answered all of questions in a timely manner. This is a great place for a multi generational get away.

Perfect Space for Extended Family

We had a great weekend staying on this property! The two houses in one was great for being close to each other but also having your own space. The appliances were amazing and the rooms were spacious. There were plenty of games and entertainment items for us as well. I would love to stay here again!

Indian River

The owners of this property knew just what a family needed. There was plenty of bedding and towels, toys and games for the kids, and room for everyone to not feel crowded. Burt Lake was literally walking distance and Petoskey State Park with Lake Michigan Beach just 25 minutes away. We had a great time!

Family trip

We absolutely loved our stay at this place in Indian River. It’s perfect for a large family. Plenty of space for some separation but also space to eat and be all together. We had a great time at the backyard fire pit each night we were there. I want to go again!!!!!!
