Very cute apartment in the perfect location for walking downtown. Check in was easy and although it was a small kitchen, it had what we needed.

Great Location, Awesome Balcony

Amazing location to explore the charm of the City! The check in process was extremely simple and property managers were friendly and accommodating. Only complaint is that the mattress firmness/support is not up to par, but would stay again!

short weekend stay

We absolutely loved the little quaint apartment. It was a nice walk to the riverfront and had everything we needed for our short visit. We also enjoyed coffee on the balcony! We will definitely be staying here again!

Couldn’t have been better

We had a wonderful stay! The hosts were very accommodating and communicative. The property had everything we needed and then some. We both decided that this is where we will stay when we visit Wilmington. It’s beautifully decorated, fully stocked, bed is comfortable, has an awesome balcony, provides on or off-street parking and is close to everything. I definitely recommend it but hope it’s available when we return. Thank you for the wonderful time! We couldn’t have asked for more.

Fun historic Wilmington apartment

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay in this second floor apartment for our anniversary weekend. The bedroom, bathroom, living room and porch were spacious. A single parking space behind the building was provided. There was the expected traffic noise, but no noise from other units in the building. The kitchen is well-stocked but very tiny, which didn't bother us much as we ate out in restaurants both nights of our stay. The porch faces west, which would be great most of the time, but we were there on a very hot sunny couple of days so did not use as much as we had hoped. Bed was comfortable and cooling system worked well. Furnishings stylish and top-notch. All for a great price! Have already recommended this place to our friends!

Night in wilmington

The house was very clean had everything we needed. Cold AC, no problems at all. Host was very quock to respond and great communicator. Location was close to water, restaurants and much more. We drove to Carolina Beach in 25 and parked easy. Parking at this house was also convenient.

Lovely Historic Apartment!

Loved staying here. The space is beautiful, well-appointed, and comfortable. Within walking of downtown restaurants and bars. In the evening and morning, loved hanging out on the porch.

Location!

Can’t beat the location to historic downtown. We walked to restaurants and shops multiple days. House has only basic supplies in the kitchen but it’s very small. Owner does supply kpod coffees which was nice. Agree with another reviewer, the bedroom could use a mirror. The porch is awesome. We sat out there often in the evenings. It could use a small table for food and drinks. There was a rollaway twin bed with a nice memory foam mattress for my son. I had the queen bed. Both were comfortable. Steven was great. Responded to a small issue quickly and even brought us a bottle of wine. I recommend this unit.

Hidden Gem!

We only stayed for one night but our family of 4 LOVED it! The owner was always quick to respond. Had plenty of sleeping options and the deck was nice extra space! We will definitely return!

Comfortable and cute

We really enjoyed our stay at this place. We prefer old houses because they’re more homey and unique. The rooms are spacious with the exception of the kitchen which was a bit tight but not a problem since we were just storing drinks and snacks. Tall ceilings, lots of light, well-equipped. We both slept great on the mattress - a big plus! I brought a small fan but didn’t end up using it because there was already a fan in the bedroom that worked really well. The porch is super roomy and the furniture was comfortable. My husband spent a lot of time on the outdoor couch. The traffic can sometimes be loud outside but you can’t hear the cars from inside the apartment. The location was perfect. Almost every time we went out, we left on foot. Beautiful houses in this neighborhood! Contacted Steven with questions and he answered within a few minutes. A very attentive and responsive host. He gave us a handful of good restaurant and bar recommendations. We had a great stay and would rent from Steven again.

This was a clean and comfortable place to stay. The balcony added to the authentic, historic downtown feel. Great decor and an amazing claw foot bathtub/shower. There were plenty of clean white towels and linens and chilled water bottles in the fridge, and well supplied kitchen. I think in the height of summer the window a/c unit may not be cool enough for some but in May we were comfortable with that and ceiling fans. Only suggestion is to have some more mirrors at an accessible height- and one full length at least.

Fabulous location

We enjoyed our stay and you can’t beat the location. The only minor issues I would mention is that the person sleeping in the living room has to go through the bedroom to use the bathroom. And a mattress topper for the airbed would be great. Although I slept well on it, anyway

Clean, cool old building, great location except for rush hour, easy walk to everything. Simple check in. Will probably stay again next time im in town. Oh, great balcony.

Great place with loads of character

My mother and I stayed here for 2 nights and would return to this location with bells on!! The owner, STeve was extremely accommodating and let us stay downstairs after we originally booked upstairs. My mother had problems walking up the stairs. The beds were very comfy, and the entire place was beyond my expectations...
