Unique 2 Bedrooms and 1.5 Bath condo located and nestled in a quiet and wonderful area of St. Simons Island. Both bedrooms are upstairs and living area downstairs. Minutes from the beach and a short bike ride to the best restaurants in the area. Located next door to the island's largest fitness club with so much to do. The condo has been completely renovated with new furniture throughout. Perfect getaway.
St Simons Island and Georgia’s Golden Isles are rich in history, relaxed charm, and natural beauty, making it the perfect spot for Georgia vacations. 53 Gascoigne is surrounded by countless recreational activities, historic sites, shopping, and attractions that offer something for everyone. Enjoy the day at the beach, on the water, or visiting the historic St Simons Island Lighthouse, Christ Church, and Fort Frederica. After taking advantage of the abundance of outdoor activities, explore the Island’s numerous unique shops and art galleries.

Great stay loved the vibe. Only complaint is there wasn’t a guess Netflix account and I don’t like logging into my personal steaming accounts.

Adequate accommodations

Everything you need for a short stay. Was not easy access To get into the complex from the island amenities. Property management was very quick to get back to you.

Island Hopping

The place was comfortable. We were a bit disappointed that the fireplace was not working. They had a nice patio but the chairs were dirty so we could not use them to sit out there. Overall a nice place. FYI there was a little bit of a musty smell when you first walk in but after you are there you get used to it, the next time you go out, and then you smell it again. But overall a nice place for a three-day getaway. The bedroom can use a ceiling fan as it does get hot upstairs with the heat. It was nice to walk around the historic district and enjoy dinners out.

Convenient Property

This was a very convenient location. Could get to all the most popular spots on the island within just a few minutes. The condo itself was very clean.

Great place to stay

Everything about our stay was wonderful. All the comforts of home. Especially loved the list of best places to eat. We tried a few and loved each one. The beach was an easy convenient drive. Would definitely stay here again!

Sweet 17 Birthday Beach Weekend

We LOVED our stay, the condo and the island was absolutely beautiful. Brand was an awesome host. Everything looked way better than the pictures. My daughter and her friends had an awesome time and loved their stay. I will definitely keep Brad and his condo as a favorite for our beach stay. If I could give 10 stars I would.

Clean, comfortable, reasonably-priced

We stayed at Brad’s place for Spring Break, having never been to Saint Simon’s Island before, and it’s a nice spot. It was very clean, well-laid out, and the beds were quite comfortable. It was also nicely equipped in terms of kitchen supplies, which came in handy. We were please by lots of good dining options on the island - Porch, Iguana’s, Zuzu’s, and Sal’s Pizza - and we had a great time exploring Fort Frederica, fishing, and playing some disc golf, which was close by. The beach is also very nice on the island. The putt-putt place had very inconsistent hours, so we never got to play there. I’d also recommend going over to Jekyll Island for a day - the Driftwood Beach was absolutely incredible to see. The only knock on the property is its location - it backs onto a sporadically noisy road that made it hard to sleep when we opened the windows to try to cool off, and it’s also right at the entrance to the island so removed from the main locations with restaurants, shops and the beach. That said, it is priced accordingly as compared to the other properties for rent - definitely less expensive, which made the vacation doable for us. Overall, it’s a nice condo, and Brad was very easy to deal with. Responsive and helpful.
