The house was very clean, nicely furnished and decorated. There are plants and trees surrounding the property to give you a sense of privacy. However, it is not really set up for long term stays. (Looking back at the positive reviews, previous guests only stayed a few days.) The Bar-B-Q that was on the property was rusted and very dirty, and turned out not to work at all. Having a grill was a determining factor in my decision to rent. The host did order a new one, but there were issues with the gas canister, and though an immediate replacement was promised over and over, it took about a week to get a working canister. It was difficult to eat the steak I finally cooked, because there were no steak knives. I went out and bought two. There was no room in the kitchen cabinets to store groceries. This would have been OK if we were only staying for a few days, and planned to eat out every night, but we were there for 48 days. The biggest problem was the major construction of what looked like two large buildings right next door. Noise from backhoes, drills, generators, trucks entering and exiting, etc. started at 7:30 AM 6 days a week, went on all day. It was bad enough if we were in the house, but it was impossible to sit outside at all. The street is long & straight. Cars, seemingly without mufflers, and with blaring music raced up and down all night. So, the house was very nice, but you know what they say, “Location, location, location.”
