This property is a short walk, minutes to all Gloucester had to offer including restaurants, shopping, beaches and the local train station with service to Boston.

We moved our time at Daryl’s rental. Perfect location as we were visiting for a family wedding. He was great and the apartment was really cute and well stocked :)

Beautiful condo and good location

We loved our stay at the Duval House. The place is tastefully appointed and we especially appreciated that the mattresses are very comfy. This is usually not always the case, our 50old bodies appreciated it. The only ever-so-slight pain was that we could hear someone tromping upstairs for some of the time but that minor thing didn't hinder our stay one bit. We'd definitely stay here again when we visit Gloucester next.

Warm and super convenient in a cold January

Wonderful and comfortable apartment, so close to everything downtown, with very friendly and responsive host -- Darryl was so helpful and efficient. The weather was cold in town, so having a warm place to retreat to made it all the more cosy.

Christmas Awaycation

We thourghly enjoyed our stay. It was our plan to stay in and spend our Christmas making old family recipes and watch cheesy holiday movies. The kitchen/dining area was perfect. We baked coffee cake and enjoyed one of my mother recipes that I hadn't tasted in almost 40 years. Overall the house had a great vibe, and it was really great to have our dog Lolo join us on our adveture. We enjoyed walks along the water front and fell in love with Good Harbor beach.We really only had one critique, the livingroom would benfit from more comfortable seating options. We would definitely reccomend a stay at Duval House. Thanks Darryl!

Epic Road Trip

The property is beautiful. Darryl was kind and helpful. Apparently, there was a snafu and the cleaning service did not get notified. Darryl got igtfixed up ASAP.

Gloucester Trip

The Duval House property was fantastic. We’ve found photos can be deceiving of how much room a place actually has. The Duval House exceeded our expectations as the space was even better than the photos. The stay was seamless from check in to check out. The locations is perfect, in walking distance to downtown shops and restaurants, the boulevard, and a short drive to Good Harbor Beach.

Adorable Apartment By the Sea

What an adorable apartment. Perfectly appointed and quite large! The kitchen is expansive and is perfect for large dinners, evening board games around the table….and if one opens the double glass doors, it spills out to the very quaint outdoor courtyard. The apartment was spotless and well outfitted. While there is no direct sea view, a short stroll down Main Street provides you with both access to the warf, and an array of restaurants and shops. The apartment located close to Boston, Salem, Rockport, and some breathtaking beaches. It was really a lovely stay.

Clean and comfy.

This place is immaculate and well stocked with everything you need to feel right at home. We really enjoyed the egg chairs, much to our surprise. The basket of goodies was a lovely touch. I would stay there again for certain.

Gorgeous spot!

The apartment is so cozy and beautiful! We had a very easy time checking in and great communication with the owner. The location was perfect for walking to restaurants and shops. Highly recommend this gem!

Perfect Getaway

The house was immaculate and so lovely. Within walking distance to several shops and restaurants. And the host was very communicative and offered restaurant suggestions. I hope to return again!

Amazing place, amazing host.

We traveled in from New Brunswick, Canada to tour Salem, Boston and Gloucester. This place was ideally located to access all locations by a short car ride. This property is beautiful and decorated so perfectly. The location is also a quick walk to the pier and where the Wicked Tuna boats dock if you are a fan of that show. There is whale watching tours within walking distance, shopping and groceries yet it is still a sweet, quiet location. The host was very responsive and answered all our questions. Host went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. I will definitely book this location again, and highly recommend this host.

The place was open, inviting, comfortable and very clean. I loved being right in the town and easily accessible to many places. The home was decorated beautifully and the owner was available and responsive. Highly recommend!
