The Space:
Wolf Cabin is a crowd favorite and you will see why. From the moment you approach the home you will feel right at home at your own mountain cabin. The bright red cabin greets you in every season! Evergreens and conifers alike create a canopy year round above the river cabin. Listen to the water roll over the river rocks and the breeze sweep through the trees.
You enter the home to beautiful vaulted ceilings, floor to ceilings windows framing the mountain landscapes, inviting spaces with comfortable furniture and a stunning wood burning fireplace in the living room. The open layout feels spacious yet cozy with everything you need all together.
The kitchen has stone tile counter tops and natural wood cabinetry. It is well stocked and has quality appliances for making meals at the home. Enjoy the custom coffee mugs hand crafted for the home.
Down the hall are three bedrooms including a queen room, a bunk bedroom, and a small twin bedroom. Each room has its own character and taste.
There is one full bathroom on the main level that has a bathtub shower combo and is stocked with lots of towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, and a hair dryer.
Upstairs there is a loft bedroom with a full bed and is open to the downstairs. It is great in the wintertime to feel the warmth of the fire below rise to loft as you fall asleep.

The Neighborhood:
Wolf Cabin is in a very small mountain neighborhood. There are neighbors near by, yet the home fees very secluded. This is a great location to experience the Red Lodge “wild life”- we’re talking moose, bear, deer, fish, and fowl. For more urban fun, try the sundry assortment of restaurants and saloons downtown. Enjoy Red Lodge's great shops and activities or venture deeper up the pass for more adventures! Close to town with a mountain feel and on the creek, Wolf Cabin is sure to be your favorite Red Lodge getaway.
If you are looking to enjoy the natural beauty of the area, Red Lodge is hard to beat. Enjoy watching the wildlife wander by including deer, moose, and turkeys. Red Lodge has many parks for that have great amenities including river access for Rock Creek, disc golf, tennis and pickleball, play structures, basketball courts. ice skating in the winter and farmers markets in the summers, baseball fields and soccer fields, a city pool, and green spaces with canopies of trees. There are also several trails including Rocky Fork trail that follows the edge of the bench for great views or a small trail down by Rotary Park that follows the river.
For the adventurers Red Lodge is nestled at the base of the Beartooths and sits just outside the Custer-Gallatin National Forest. So whether you want to explore the Nordic Trails in the winter, hike the mountain trails in the summer, or angle the rivers and streams, we have it all in our backyard.
Skiers and Riders can come together here at Red Lodge Mountain and enjoy the fresh groomed trails of Lazy M or find themselves in the steeps and deeps of Headwaters.
The Beartooth Highway is must in the Summer months. Take in the views from one of the most scenic drives in the country. The Beartooth Highway will bring you to the top of the world and you will enjoy high cascade lakes, wildlife, wildflowers, and stunning twists and turns.
Yellowstone National Park is only 70 miles south of Red Lodge via the Beartooth Pass in the summer months. It is about a 3 hour tour to get there through Silver Gate, but it is a trip you wont forget!
Getting Around:
Wolf Cabin is located less than 3 miles from downtown Red Lodge.
Yellowstone National Park is about 70 miles away via the Beartooth Pass, which is a beautiful scenic drive, but it takes at least two hours to get there due to the twists and turns.
Red Lodge Mountain is only about 15 minutes away.
Other Things to Note:
Though there is internet, the internet can be spotty and is not intended for heavy use. It is a mobile service provider so the service is dependent on phone coverage which can effected by heavy volume of people in the area. Limited internet service is due to location and is intentional to encourage folks to disconnect on vacation.
No AC at the home.
