Este chalet es simplemente magnífico para una familia o dos parejas. Northern Lights es una de las propiedades más lujosas de la montaña.

Después de un día en las pistas, montar un ascensor para este ático en el que el diseño de una sola planta apacigua músculos al final de la jornada. Revel en su visión desde el confort de primera clase. 19 'marcos de techo de piso a techo ventanas. Los toques personales reflejan los deportes de invierno de Canadá y calefacción por suelo radiante garantizar que se sienta como en casa. Por supuesto, los colchones se han mejorado y las camas tienen edredones. Acogedora chimenea con su libro, el salón en el jacuzzi privado, y relajarse en la ducha de vapor. WiFi gratuito. Very nice place. Access to the slopes was a short walk to get on and off the mountain. The property manager was very quick to get back to us with any questions (we arrived early). The public shuttle to the base of the mountain was great and dropped us off very close to property. At night, short drive to large public parking lot and a gondola that takes you to the base of the mountain.

The condo set up was perfect. Lots of room for 6 people. Beautiful views from living room and dining room. Was nice to have elevator to get up and down. Handy to have garage for all ski equipment. The hot tub seemed a bit murky but the “hot tub guy” came multiple times to check it and put in chemicals. Instructions for the condo were very clear and helpful.

Loved everything about this place! The shuttle to get to the lifts & city centre made us feel so close, and the space was great and clean. Julie was great to communicate with. If we go back to big white we will definitely look to stay here again.

Great ski weekend

The unit was clean, well appointed and great space. We were 4 adults and 2 kids and we had lots of room. Location was perfect and the photos were as advertised. The skiing was awesome!Hosts were wonderful, accommodating and very quick to respond to inquires... We will absolutely stay here again if the need arises. Thank you Julie!

Great Family Trip

This was the perfect place for me and my three brothers. The host is proactive with communication and the property manager checked to ensure everything was going well. It’s a short walk in and out of skiing, and the hot tub and living room were great to come home to. Everything was clean and cozy. Remember to grab gas and groceries before doing the final part of the drive.

Wonderful. Property manager was very attentive.

Beautiful property and the property manager was very attentive. The property was exactly as described, clean, and comfortable. The property owner surprised us with a box of "The Big White Tradition" which were "custard filled donut like dessert" on our second day there which was much appreciated. We would stay there again.

Spa bath with an amazing sunset view over the mountains

How wonderful to sit in a spa and watch the sun set over distant mountains after a day of skiing. Lovely comfortable 3 bedroom condo with everything we needed. Great to be able to leave ski gear downstairs in heated garage. Not quite ski in ski out but a short walk to/from the run.

While many skiers and boarders elect to ski out from - and in to - the driveway, the nearest groomed trail is indeed 3 chalets away...2 minute walk. So pleased you enjoyed the view. It is special.

Perfection

Our family of 4 had a wonderful stay at Northern Lights Unit C. There was nothing missing - the kitchen had everything (and much more!) than we needed, the hot tub was beautiful, the beds were comfy, the den with the PS2 was brilliant, the view was amazing and the ambiance was perfect. Debbie the caretaker was even kind enough to pick up an order from the grocery & liquor stores in Kelowna so it was in the unit ready to go when we got there (highly recommend doing this rather than relying on the little market on the mountain). Communication with the owners and Debbie was easy and quick. It was easily one of the best places we've stayed, in Canada or NZ.

Wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful time! Julie is such a thoughtful host. The property is well cared for, very well stocked with anything you need, and very tidy. The beds are comfortable too! Julie was so easy to communicate with and the property manager, Debra, is as well. Deb met us at arrival and showed us how everything works. She also very kindly let me know of an item I left behind and helped return it to me. Lastly, the building is so quiet! Great concrete construction. There appeared to be a guys trip staying below us and we didn’t hear anything from them. Julie and Deb - thanks so much! We’d love to stay here again.

northern lights

my family and i had the most memorable vacation at northern lights and big white.. basically all the previous reviews are 100% accurate, especially the layout, user friendly kitchen, comfy beds.. and although the chalet is not exactly board in board out, as you need to walk up a slight incline for 10 mins to get to nearest run.. the ease of the shuttle bus makes up for it, especially for those that have big family.. in fact, i would have to say the shuttle bus stop right in front of chalet is one of the chalets best attributes, as we must have taken the bus at least 2 to 3 times a day... but again, exceptional chalet in terms of cleanliness, communication, and overall experience... would highly recommend

Eson, We are pleased that you made good family memories and thank you for your constructive comment. We have used your comments to update our VRBO description and better explain the walk, which we think is best. Many guests do ski from the chalet and down the road (Snow Pine Crescent) directly to lifts. Like you, we prefer to walk. 130 steps up the road is the closest groomed access trail. It takes us 3 minutes. A 10 minute walk up the road/pedestrian pathway would pass access trails and indeed cross ski runs.

Great After Christmas Stay & Ski

We really enjoyed out stay at Snow Pines! * The pictures do not do the unit justice. It is much nicer than they show, rooms are larger and the size of the main room does not come across. * The location is great. For those skiing being so close to the run was tremendous, but the walk to the village is a bit further (more like 20 minutes, 1 mile and uphill). * The views are tremendous. We got only one morning where we could see the sun rise and the views due to weather, but that one morning was glorious. * The kitchen is really well appointed. We did not miss anything and were happily surprised to see it stocked so well. Our only issue was the furniture in the main room. It appears to be of good quality, but the layout makes no sense... no good sightlines of the view or TV, it just is kind of placed there. We did notice the instructions not to move it, and we can understand why that comment is there. No real impact to our stay, but it was odd enough it was worth mentioning.

Because the den is set up as a TV watching room, it is a fact the main room furniture should be positioned for conversation and with reading lights. If this explanation is not what you found, then I wonder whether the furniture had been moved previously? Our apologies, if that was the case.

Wonderful Property

To start with, we had a few days of cloudy weather, and a few days of blue skies. On the nicer days, we cannot imagine a better view than from this location. The sunrises and sunsets were amazing, especially from the hot tub with a wine or beer. The kitchen was very well stocked (and thank you to those before us who left extra condiments, spices for cooking). The coffee machine is traditional, so bring a few filters (triangle-style) and ground coffee beans. They also had tea filters if you bring loose leaf tea. The unit was also well-stocked with paper products and cleaning supplies. If there is no fresh snow, the property isn't really ski-in/ ski out. But with fresh snow we could walk up to the trail or cross the street and ski down the road to a trail. Ski-in was a bit easier if there's snow on the road (easiest to ski down the road). That said, the bus stop is right across from the unit and provides excellent access to the clocktower building in the Village. Our property manager Deborah was phenomenal - she gave us tips on a bunch of things including dining and the Saturday fireworks (which we could watch from the deck). The overall layout is spacious and comfortable, with touches of elegance but also practicality (for example the TV had plenty to stream, but also local channels and there's a radio in the unit). We really enjoyed our stay and hope others will as well.

She has been with us for over 20 years now. Indeed, fresh snowfall allows skiing down the road. If you come again, Big White also grooms a ski out access trail that runs immediately behind the chalets across the street. When on the porch of Northern Lights and facing the road, turn left and walk on the road about 100 m. Then, turn right and walk between two chalets to find the groomed trail. It will take you to the bottom of Ridge Rocket and Snow Ghost chairs. Cheers and thanks again for your positive review. Jim & Julie

Family Ski Vacation

Great location! We had a fantastic vacation and this condo was a great choice. It was clean, nicely decorated and felt like a home away from home. We also met the cleaning staff upon our arrival and they were extremely friendly with lots of great suggestions about Big White. We would definitely staff there again!

Family Get Away

We were very pleased with our experience at Northern Lights. The condo was as advertised. The view of the sunrise out the front windows each morning provided a boost and the hot tub was clean and well maintained. The condo was well stocked and had many extras. We would definitely stay again.

Fantastic place to enjoy and reconnect with family and friends

Everyone who walked in were like wow! A beautiful view, well laid out home and the main living room with the kitchen off to the side was the perfect setting to enjoy my family and friends. Loved the fireplace and hotub.... ahhhh perfect! The owners were very communicative when we needed them. Thanks Julie On a side note, my partner left her iPad behind... Julie made sure we were connected with her cleaners and the iPad was brought to Kelowna the next day!!! A big thank you.

Wonderful place

My wife and I and two other couples stayed here for two nights. Everything was just as advertised, we enjoyed our stay and really appreciated the cleanliness of the unit. It is spacious enough and has a wonderful view, the hot tub is a nice touch. I would recommend this place all day long. If it’s available book by it, you will not regret it. Julie is an elementary school teacher. She grew up in Utah and is very selective about where she skis. That's one reason we are here.

Jim grew up in the Midwest and New England. Previously the commanding officer of a naval aviation squadron, operational missions have taken him from Hong Kong to Jiddah and Reykjavik to Santiago.

We currently reside near Washington, DC.

Friendly people, 'Champagne Powder' snow, and scenery. It takes many days to ski the entire mountain. The snow here is drier than Vancouver and the temperatures milder than the Rockies.

This chalet combines superior location, quality, exquisite finishing, den, elevator, and nearly ski-in/ski-out.
