Clean, spacious 3 bdrm, 1.5 bath home in a safe location

No rental company here, I manage and clean this home myself. Whether you’re in town for business or leisure, our property offers an ideal home base for your travels! This is a one-floor, 3 bedroom house with 1.5 baths. The home features a full kitchen stocked with all cooking essentials to enjoy a home cooked meal with the family. Centrally located just blocks from I64, this property is 4 miles from downtown Huntington shops and restaurants. If you’re looking to spend time outside, we are just few blocks from a scenic walking trail overlooking the Ohio River and 3.5 miles to Huntington’s award winning Ritter Park.

Note: The attached garage and a supply closet in the home are not included in this listing. The rear of the property has a 1-bedroom garage apartment that's utilized for storage and for visiting out-of-town family.

There are motion-detecting security cameras facing the front and side door that capture images only. There is a Minut decibel & smoking sensor that monitors excessive noise levels and indoor smoking.

No refunds will be offered outside of our cancellation policy. We strongly advise purchasing travel insurance at the time of booking to cover unforeseen circumstances.

We stayed at the home over Christmas and New Years. I can't say enough how welcoming the home is. It felt as though we were at home for the holidays. The communication was outstanding, and the home was spotless. I can't recommend this home enough for your visits, it is absolutely beautiful!!! Than you for sharing your wonderful, cozy and clean home with us!!!!

We attended the Healing Appalachia concert in Ashland and this was a great location! Close to good restaurants in Huntington. House was an older home, very clean and had everything we needed for a great stay!

We enjoy staying in host Debbie's cozy, clean, comfortable home when we drive down from the DC area to visit our daughter, son-in-law, and two grandkids. My young grandson was disappointed when he learned we were not staying for Christmas, however, when he entered Debbie's house with her Christmas decorations (the two small Christmas trees with lights were a hit), the wrapped gifts we brought, small gifts for the kids from Debbie, he was thrilled, knowing we were going to celebrate Christmas together, be it a few days early. In addition to our delight at the holiday decorations, we always appreciate everything in Debbie's home. The beds, linens, towels, etc., are quite luxurious! Debbie is truly a super host, and we always look forward to renting her home.

Excellent stay

This house was fantastic. Convienetly located just off the highway, it was the perfect place for us to stay while visiting family nearby. The three bedrooms were each a good size, both bathrooms were roomy, and overall the property was very clean and tastefully decorated. The owners were great to work with, very nice and helpful. We will definitely stay here again next time we come to town.

This is a wonderful home, loved the amenities, the arrangement of everything. The instructions were very clear and suggested local activities, restaurants, etc., came in handy. Ms Debra was quick to respond and provide any answers needed. If I get back up this way, I will definitely be looking up this property to rent again. Thank you for providing a home for us !

Extremely clean with many thoughtful touches. Hot chocolate? Check! But who thinks of little containers of marshmallows for the hot chocolate? This host, that's who.Everything was labeled with great instructions. The towels and sheets were high quality.The shower has lots of hot water. Just a great place. Thank you. Superb.

Lovely house! Very clean and well organized. Decorated really nicely. Very spacious, which is a little deceiving by looking from the outside. Check in/out was super easy and efficient. Plenty of room for a family to spread out and visit. Everything we needed and more was available at our fingertips. There was even coffee and snacks provide. We visit the area quite often and would have no problem staying here again. Location was very convenient, the house was very comfortable and relaxing, provisions were plentiful. Great stay. Very good find for us.

Cleanest House I Have Ever Stayed, Perfect.

The house was well organized, as everything was labeled and had instructions. It was pleasingly decorated, the beds were comfortable, and all towels and linens were new. We felt safe and we enjoyed our stay in Huntington.

Our family enjoyed a three-night stay here. The beds were comfortable. The home was clean. And the AC was cool when we arrived. Convenient location to anything within Huntington - 10-15 minute drive.

Great stay!

This house was exactly how it was pictured, clean, adorable and the owner/host was very responsive and available if needed. The house had everything you could need and very close to stores if you would need anything else. Wi-Fi was amazing and worked well for a online call. Would definitely stay here again when visiting Huntington, WV.

This house was so nice. She made so many special things that made our stay wonderful. The house was so clean and well stocked. It was so relaxing to stay here. It was close to everything. I would stay every time we come to Huntington.

Wonderful

Debbie makes this such an easy stay and adds nice little touches throughout the home. Check-in and out was a breeze and much appreciated. Mattresses are very comfortable. Everything worked as it should. Would definitely stay again!

Couple buddies and myself came down for a Marshall Football game. Everything was excellent and clean! Debra was super helpful and answered any and all of my questions about the area! I’ll be staying here again on my next trip to Huntington!

We loved the attention to detail given for guests. Lots of thoughtful touches throughout the house, coffee/tea/hot chocolate options, snacks, etc. Beautiful, plush new towels, nice body wash and shampoo provided. Very clean!!

Another great stay!

This was our second opportunity to stay at this location, and everything was just as clean, comfortable and convenient as it was the first time! The host reached out before and during our stay just to make sure everything was alright. The beds are comfortable, the towels in the bathroom are fantastic, and while we didn’t use the kitchen much this trip, it is stocked with most things you might want or need. Add to all of the above that it was an easy 10-minute drive to downtown Huntington and the university activities, it made for an excellent weekend stay!!

The house was great. No issues. The neighborhood was a bit noisy. Inside of the house very nice and clean. All appliances worked great. Would recommend it as a lovely place to stay.

Sweet Home Away From Home

After a 7 hour drive to Huntington to visit our grandkids for a few days, it was, once again, so nice and relaxing to step into host Debbie's welcoming home. My sister and brother-in-law drove 4 hours to see my 7-year-old grandson play soccer, and spent the night with us. My sister, who has stayed in numerous VRBOs, was quite enthusiastic over how clean, cute, and well-appointed the home was. And she's right! The linens and beds were top-notch, in our opinion! Our host lived close, and was able to respond to a question immediately, and made us feel very welcome. We've stayed before, and we will stay again!

Perfect home!

The house was cleanand had everything you could possibly need. What a beautiful home! Owner was very nice and even turned the lights on for us, as we would be arriving after dark. She communicated everything nicely. House is close to everything you need, we will definitely rent again! Perfect!!

The WiFi is fast enough for streaming and gaming or to work remotely. We offer keyless entry and comfy beds. We are centrally located with easy access to Interstate 64 (4 min). The home features a full kitchen stocked with all cooking essentials to enjoy a home cooked meal with the family. Located just minutes from downtown, this property also provides easy access to shops, restaurants, museums, and more. If you’re looking to spend time outside, we are just few blocks from a well maintained scenic walking/running limestone trail on top of a flood wall that overlooks the Ohio River. Two blocks over is Westmoreland Park that is the perfect place to enjoy a game of tennis or basketball. It also has a playground structure for the kids.
