Una hermosa y moderna casa de 3000 pies cuadrados ofrece 3 habitaciones, (4 camas), 2 1/2 baños. Al otro lado de la entrada, hay un estudio independiente adicional con cama King, rincón de desayuno y baño de 3/4.

Esta propiedad única cuenta con un área de yoga al aire libre con duchas al aire libre, bañeras de cobre Jack y Jill y sauna seca, todo con impresionantes vistas al Océano Pacífico.

Un anfiteatro con anillo de fuego se asienta audazmente en un afloramiento que brinda vistas más espectaculares en todas las direcciones. Todas las estructuras, terrazas y patios se colocan para aprovechar al máximo las espectaculares vistas del Océano Pacífico.

The host was slow to respond. The property is stunning, but the house is nothing special and clearly used primarily for events. The jacuzzi didn't work and the sauna was full of spider webs and barely heated. There was also leftover plates and glasses on the property from a previous event. I would recommend the place for a party / wedding, as it was very clearly built to be used for. The grounds keepers were very friendly though and the views made it all worth it in the end.

Secluded getaway

The property was gorgeous, and met all of our expectations as advertised. This is the perfect place to go if you're looking for privacy and to enjoy the ocean views. We also loved that there was a sauna and soaking tubs on the property - very unique!

Paradise - The perfect retreat

The chance to stay again at Wind and Sea was an incredible privilege and we could hardly bring ourselves to leave. The tranquility and majesty of Big Sur itself is nowhere better accessed than on this magnificent grounds. We had space and time to laugh and to relax , to cook meals together and do yoga on the lower deck. There is no place I treasure more than this one and you will not find a better appointed home or better hosts anywhere. Thank you to Nataly and David and Michael.

Pretty location.

Picturesque spot, but very remote. Old but reasonably well maintained structures. Excellent property manager. Needs improved wi-fi. No AC; no heat - didn't turn out to be a major problem.

Spectacular view house is just meh

You pay for the view and the property is stunning. The interior really needs an update though. Carpeting is filthy with visible stains every where, furniture is worn, doors don’t lock. The supplies needed are mostly there but simple things missing like hangers, or plastic wrap or tinfoil for cooking. The bed in the master is super comfy. Overall we enjoyed our stay but for this price expected much more luxurious accommodations. Clearly a high traffic commercial use property.

Beautiful setting for an intimate wedding

This location is absolutely wonderful! We hosted a small family wedding, which was more perfect than I could have ever imagined. Nataly and Korey were great to work with and very prompt in responding to any inquires leading up to and during our stay!

Amazing Property

My wife and our new baby needed to get away for our first trip and decided to come up to Big Sur. The House was AMAZING and really enjoyed our stay. The outside Tub/ Sauna was a nice combo as well. I would highly recommend, and plan on coming back with more family next time.

Perfect family wedding venue

This house and estate was the perfect venue for our small, family only COVID wedding. The view was incredible and it's so close to the ocean you can hear the seals and birds out in the distance when you're outside. The kitchen comes fully stocked, with coffee, coffee maker, pots/pans and all other utensils you need. If you intend to cook, bring all the food that you need for the weekend because the nearest grocery store is rather far. If you don't intend to cook, there are plenty of nearby restaurants and bakeries. The master bedroom has an incredible walk in shower. Just be aware that the room shares an incomplete wall with the kitchen/living room so it could be a little noisy if someone is trying to sleep and there are people in the living room. The house can sleep 12 and provided air mattresses. However, the couches in the living room were super comfortable! Cory the onsite manager was also super helpful and helped set up the tables and chairs for the wedding and reception. Couldn't recommend this location any more. We are thinking of coming back at some point just to be able to enjoy the outdoor hot tub and sauna, which we didn't have time to use!

Perfect for a family!

The property is absolutely gorgeous and my family and I (ranging in ages from 7 months to 77 years) absolutely loved our stay. The bedroom downstairs was totally perfect and quiet for our daughter to nap while the rest of us enjoyed the other parts of the house and property. We all thought the beds were super comfortable! Highly recommend bringing in food from Carmel and using the gorgeous kitchen and enjoying the unparalleled views. We cooked our entire stay and roasted marshmallows on the fire pit at night. While we were disappointed to learn that the private beach was no longer accessible due to a flood (perhaps updating the listing would be prudent?) it really didn't affect our enjoyment of this amazing property. Chris and Corey (property managers) were also amazing! We will definitely be back.

Perfect Getaway

Such a wonderful property and just what I wanted to celebrate my 50th with a few close friends. We enjoyed the deck, soaking tubs, firepit and the indoor wood stove. Everything is well-kept and you can't beat the view! Check in and check out was easy and we thoroughly enjoyed our short stay!

Oceanside Home with Incredible Views

The views from this property are INCREDIBLE; you’ll get quite a show if you stay during whale watching season like we did. The home is impeccably clean and the huge kitchen is the best stocked rental home I’ve ever come across. Truly everything you’ll need to make whatever’s on your menu. The master is large, with an incredibly comfortable bed, fireplace, and the window in the shower overlooks the ocean for amazing views. You can leave the master windows open at night and listen to the waves crash below. Better than any sound machine to lull you to sleep. The outdoor tubs and outdoor shower are not to be missed - especially fun at night for star gazing. It was a truly special place and we’d rent it again in a heartbeat. My only “nits” (and they’re just that) is that like other reviewers, I thought the carpets were stained to the point of needing to be replaced. Ditto for the living room couch. But they were a tiny notes in an otherwise perfect house.

A truly breathtaking place

Our group of 12 stayed here for four nights for our intimate elopement celebration and every aspect of the stay was absolutely perfect. The property itself is truly one of a kind, the ocean view is unparalleled and every detail of the grounds have been considered and immaculately cared for. Chris, the caretaker who lives on the property, is so genuinely kind and helpful. Initially, I was concerned that it would feel less private with someone else on the property but it wasn't the case at all. He's there when you need him and he kind of fades into the background when you don't. The house itself is stunning and very well thought out (maybe with the exception of the primary bedroom's wall not going all the way up to the ceiling, not ideal but earplugs allowed for good sleep regardless) The kitchen was very well stocked for cooking for and serving a large group with everything you could need. The sleeping arrangements for 12 guests does include couches and blow up mattress which was fine for our group but might be something to consider. As far as the elopement aspect of our stay, from the bottom of my heart, if you are considering getting married here, do it! It's such a special place. The venue fee does include folding tables and chairs and all the set up as well as wine glasses, plates, etc... all of which was incredibly helpful. Also, they have just installed grass where the gravel and flagstones are in the photos and it is so lovely! All in all, we are already plotting how to find our way back to Wind and Sea because it is such a special place! Thank you Nataly and Chris for all your help!

Beautiful!

Our stay at the Wind and Sea was short lived because of the wildfires that broke out in the beginning of our trip but the house and surrounding grounds were absolutely stunning. The pictures don't do the property justice as it is hard to explain how beautiful and peaceful this property is. The house blends effortlessly with the nature surrounding it, allowing you to enjoy the feeling of being in a remote oasis on the edge of the ocean and trees while having all of the luxuries of a great house to relax in. Chris was incredibly helpful throughout our stay and my entire family of 8 who came with me had the best time those first two nights cooking dinners in the lovely kitchen and sitting by the fire pit.

Heaven on earth!

This property is everything the site represents and more! We couldn’t have been more thrilled gazing at the ocean, bathing in the outdoor tubs or walking down the stairs to our own private rocky beach. We will definitely be back!

Overall good stay

Property location was beautiful, and excellent venue for our wedding. Chris was a great communicator and helped us with last minute needs. However sauna was not working while we were there and downstairs carpets were very stained.
