Esta propiedad única cuenta con un área de yoga al aire libre con duchas al aire libre, bañeras de cobre Jack y Jill y sauna seca, todo con impresionantes vistas al Océano Pacífico.

Absolutely stunning location, truly gorgeous ocean coastline views. The space feels aimed at event use, but we had an enjoyable stay as a couple toddler. Copper tubs are fantastic for an evening soak!

The host was slow to respond. The property is stunning, but the house is nothing special and clearly used primarily for events. The jacuzzi didn't work and the sauna was full of spider webs and barely heated. There was also leftover plates and glasses on the property from a previous event. I would recommend the place for a party / wedding, as it was very clearly built to be used for. The grounds keepers were very friendly though and the views made it all worth it in the end.

Secluded getaway

The property was gorgeous, and met all of our expectations as advertised. This is the perfect place to go if you're looking for privacy and to enjoy the ocean views. We also loved that there was a sauna and soaking tubs on the property - very unique!

It was a breath taking property located right on the ocean. The views were spectacular.

We couldn’t have found a more gorgeous venue for our family to spend a couple of nights together. The property was beautifully maintained and had several vista points to enjoy, including a stair case to the ocean. The home was spacious and allowed you to view and enjoy the surrounding. I would highly recommend this venue to everyone.

Beautiful Getaway

Lovely accommodations. Everything you need to have a great experience. Beds were comfortable, sheets were fresh, lots of hot water for the outdoor baths as well the rest of the house. We ventured down the beach on an amazing stairway/path and had great fun exploring the shoreline. The views are breathtaking and can’t be captured by the pictures. A great place to stay. We will be back.

Stunning property!

Wind & Sea is an amazing property. It's your own luxury resort. The house is very welcoming and comfortable. All three bedrooms have a beautiful view. The grounds are spectacular. You can keep busy exploring for days. The staircase to the rocky beach is an adventure in itself. The family LOVED the 2 copper tubs and the sauna. The property manager was very personable and informative. We can't wait to return to this perfect getaway.

THE MOST AMAZING HOME

The Wind and Sea Home far exceeded our expectations. Everything was perfect! Chris greeted us and showed us around the house. Everything was so clean and pristine. We saw otters, dolphins and even a whale, all from the upper decks! I highly recommend the home. The copper bath tubs might have been our favorite part, they were so nice to relax in on a sunny afternoon. The home is seriously a dream come true!!

great place for family get away

We took our entire family for a birthday getaway and it was great. The view from the house was great and the grounds are terrific. Our kids and their significant others are grown, so we all cooked dinners. The house is perfectly set up for that. For 3 couples, the house is ideal. We had 4 couples which required us to use the room next to the garage. While we wish that we could all have been together, it ended up working out fine. There was also an on site manager who was very nice and helpful when we arrived. We will definitely return when we can!

Beautiful Views and Location

We had a very good time at Wind & Sea. The house and location were lovely. Everything was spotlessly clean. Beds very comfortable. Fully stocked kitchen. The caretaker Chris was very helpful and attentive. I would strongly recommend new living room furniture. We found the sofas very uncomfortable. The addition of end tables would be a plus. It took us a while to figure out how to operate the light switches. Otherwise, a very enjoyable stay.

Truly Unbelievable Experience!

This property is like a fairy tale. During our trip to Big Sur we did 7 of the top-rated hikes and we still came home to the best views and scenery each day. The home and the grounds are immaculate and chalk full of incredible amenities. Best of all, the hosts were amazing. They even set us up with the most amazing private chef, Makiah, because once you walk in, you will quickly realize there's not a 5-star restaurant around that will come close to offering you a better experience than the Wind & Sea can all by itself. Our time here was, and will always be, the most magical and memorable nights of our lives. Stay here. You won't regret it.

Stunning property, very comfortable house and beautiful landscaping.

Amazing property and view. Spacious rooms and very comfortable, modern and current interior. Solid walls so everybody has their own privacy. The Sonos system worked great. Everything worked. The kitchen was fully stocked with good quality dishes. We loved cooking in that kitchen. The landscaping is even better than shown in the photos. It is green and lush, lot more mature. The property is so big that 8 people can get easily lost and not know of each other. The path to the beach is in great condition and the beach is wild and breathtaking. We are a pair of photographers and every corner was a 10-star backdrop. The only drawback is that the night lighting of the exterior is very minimal and unless you have full moon conditions, you can't see where you are stepping. I wish the daily rate was a bit lower as we all really wanted to stay a few nights longer.

A beautiful property close with total privacy

We had an amazing stay at Wind & Sea last month. The house is beautiful and the views are unbelievably spectacular. From any point on the property, we felt like we had total privacy, especially in the outdoor soaking tubs which our family thoroughly enjoyed. The house itself is well appointed and comfortable. We used the grill and cooked in the kitchen for almost every meal, and I don't recall ever thinking "I wish they had...." The house was also very clean and the grounds outside are meticulous. The added benefit of the caretaker, Chris, was wonderful as well. He took us around the garden and gave us fresh greens and vegetables straight from the garden for many meals. Thanks Chris!! Overall, we would highly recommend Wind & Sea to any family with kids over 6. There are a lot of wood stairs and uneven rock steps, but this added to the charm and beauty of the property. For reference, our daughters are ages 11, 8 and 7, and absolutely loved our trip to Big Sur and staying at Wind & Sea. We will definitely be back!!!

This place litterally takes your breath away

I stumbled upon Wind & Sea Estate after searching "intimate wedding Big Sur," and I was immediately enamored. As guests came from all over the US and the world, we heard repeatedly that the 1-hr bus ride from Carmel-by-the-Sea was worth it. The seals barked in the background from a nearby rock, and even at midnight, you can see ripples across the ocean. Everyone gathered around the lower firepit and few insisted they wanted to install a similar one at their house. We had some last minute issues with the provided tables (we didn't realize they were folding card tables that would need tablecloths) and the music system provided some issues, but none of that took away from the event as we figured it out on the fly. Note there are a lot of stairs; it's a little rough for guests moving around of all ages but especially older guests. Also, not recommended for children since there are a few paths that go off to the private beach or various cliffs/vistas.

Breathtaking view of Big Sur

The home is in an incredible location with beautifully maintained outdoor areas that overlook the ocean. There’s a stairway and path that leads to private beach access where one can truly enjoy the sounds of waves crashing onto the rocks. The home is beautifully designed with windows showcasing the view. The symmetrical porch wraps around the property where one can enjoy from any side of the home. There’s a great open kitchen and living room area that overlooks Big Sur. The owners spent time labeling lights and complimentary items to help guests have an easy understanding of use. The overall experience was phenomenal, and would definitely stay here again. As far as future enhancements, some time needs to be spent making sure things work properly and are up to date. Some examples include the following: 1.) The great 6 burner stove’s igniter doesn’t work, so you have to use a lighter, 2.) The fireplace in the master bedroom appears broken for quite some time, 3.) The listing states washer/dryer, but they were not discovered, 4.) The check in instructions for the property include an incorrect address and property contact name. Overall, I wouldn’t want any requests for enhancements to take away from the fact that it was a spectacular experience and location! The property is perfect for events, gatherings or a romantic getaway.

Hi Tony, Thank you for your review and I'm glad you enjoyed your stay! We have fixed the ignition on the stove and updated all check in instructions including address and point of contact. There are 2 sets of washers and dryers in the storage room next to the downstairs living room. We will be sure to specify that more clearly under guest arrival. The fireplace in the master bath is a pretty old system and is quite involved in terms of update. It is on our list but we have other things we are working on that are more of a priority. Paradise - The perfect retreat

The chance to stay again at Wind and Sea was an incredible privilege and we could hardly bring ourselves to leave. The tranquility and majesty of Big Sur itself is nowhere better accessed than on this magnificent grounds. We had space and time to laugh and to relax , to cook meals together and do yoga on the lower deck. Spectacular view house is just meh

You pay for the view and the property is stunning. The interior really needs an update though. Carpeting is filthy with visible stains every where, furniture is worn, doors don’t lock. The supplies needed are mostly there but simple things missing like hangers, or plastic wrap or tinfoil for cooking. The bed in the master is super comfy. Overall we enjoyed our stay but for this price expected much more luxurious accommodations. Clearly a high traffic commercial use property.

Beautiful setting for an intimate wedding
