Cottage in the Clouds is a beautifully appointed, pet friendly home with everything you need for a comfortable, mountain getaway. Take a 20-minute drive to downtown Brevard to experience some delicious restaurants and explore local shops. With Pisgah National Forest, Dupont Forest, and Gorges State Park close by, there`s plenty of opportunity for hiking, biking, kayaking, and exploring the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina. If you`re looking for a guided experience, Headwaters is 15 minutes away and offers guided fly fishing trips. Kayaks and tubes are also available to rent so you can enjoy a day on the beautiful French Broad River.

You`ll immediately feel at home when you walk through the door at Cottage in the Clouds. The kitchen is fully stocked for preparing meals and boasts a large table for gathering. Through the kitchen is a large living space with comfortable furniture, smart TV, and a gas fireplace.

To the right of the living room you`ll find a bedroom with two full beds and another room with a sofa, workspace (perfect for remote work), games, and an additional smart TV. There is a full bath with a tub/shower combo in the hallway between the two rooms. To the left of the living room you`ll find the master suite with a large king bed, spacious closet, and full bathroom. Between the living room and kitchen is a spiral staircase that leads to a cozy loft with two twin beds and a peaceful view of the trees.

Enjoy a cup of coffee on the large screened-in porch which features comfortable furniture and a gas firepit. The coziness of the porch, rustling of the trees, and sound of the birds is so peaceful and relaxing—you`ll never want to leave! There are steps off the porch that lead down to a space underneath the house with a gas grill if you feel like cooking out. If you`re looking for a private, mountain getaway, this vacation home is for you!

A few notes:
- The driveway is spacious and can accommodate 3 to 4 vehicles.
- There is a ramp leading up to the house, making it wheelchair accessible.
- There is a security camera outside the front door and one on the side of the house facing the driveway.

- No smoking in the house.
- No parties or unexpected guests sleeping over.
- If you damage something, let us know so that we can arrange for its replacement or repair.
- Lastly, have fun and enjoy the mountains!
Things to know:
- Cell service: Connecting to the house wifi for calls will be necessary.
-The gas fireplace in the living room works and puts off heat, but the flames do not get very big.
Prior to check in a rental agreement must be signed for the property management company.

This house is pet friendly, with a one time additional fee of $150. Maximum of 2 pets, dogs are the only pets permitted. Approved pets are not allowed on furniture (including beds and sofas) at any time. Pets that are left unattended must be crated. Any damages will be charged to the card on file. Owners must clean up after their pet and dispose of all waste. No food or water is to be left outside; this will attract unwanted wildlife. Pets must be potty trained.
