Tucked away on a quiet side street, this quaint island home is close to downtown. Perfect location to walk or bike to Main Street or to Maddox Blvd with shopping, restaurants and entertainment. Relax on the spacious screened porch after a fun day at the beach.

THIS HOME DOES NOT PROVIDE LINENS OR TOWELS. PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN OR CALL US TO RENT THEM.

Cancellations made 30 days prior to arrival will receive 100% of refund  of all monies minus $ 39 Processing Fee and Any Credit Card Convenience Fees Paid.  If less then 30 days: the advanced rent is only refundable subject to the following: The property is re-rented for the same period. Re-rental of less than a full week will be refunded on a pro-rated basis. The Agent will retain a $39.00 processing charge and any convenience fees charged. *Deposits are not refunded for ANY reason (including bad weather).

Simple Living - all you need at the beach

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Miss Niccies provided us simple lodgings for our week on Chincoteague. The place was clean, and there was space for everyone. The location is great - close to Main St and Maddox, but tucked off any busy streets so no street noise. Listing could be updated with more specific amenities (i.e quilts on beds, bathmat, basic cooking tools/pots/pans, Roku TV, etc) so people know what to bring. Screen porch and outdoor shower were great perks. Window AC units worked well. This house was simple but was great for the amount of time we stayed in it. Would rent again.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house worked very well for us (2 adults, 3 teens). We could have benefited from a second bathroom but otherwise it was perfect (and the outdoor shower helped). Ideal location to walk or bike from. Centrally located amongst everything we wanted to get to. Quiet residential street. Charming older house that feels like a comfortably worn-in beach cottage should. Not fancy, but we don't need fancy. And it was priced appropriately. We would definitely stay there again. Harbour Rentals staff was very friendly and helpful. The housing aspect of our vacation week was super smooth and easy.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had an overall very good stay. The house was nice and comfortable. It was the perfect size for us, with 4 kids. It’s air conditioned with window units and does not have one in the living room or kitchen which makes those rooms a bit warm. A fan can help with the living room but not as much in the kitchen. I wish there was a washer/dryer but we were able to manage. Location is nice, to my children’s approval it’s right next to a giant playground and easy access to town and food on the island, close to everything. Additionally we had a minor emergency during our stay and the management company handled everything very quickly and professionally. Would stay there again.

The floors slant a lot due to age of the home. The microwave takes a while to heat things. No central air or heat (but they had window units and free standing radiators). Plastic blinds on windows don’t do much to keep out morning sun so we were all up pretty early. Property was clean but dust collecting on blinds could be wiped. Some of the blinds are not fully functional (broken wands).

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I had stayed in Miss Niccies 15+ years ago. It has seen a lot of TLC since then and was very pleasant. It was a nice walk downtown and a short walk to the Island Creamery. I was there for a retreat and enjoyed being able to do some writing at the dinning room table, do some reading in the living room, and then sitting on the pleasant porch. Place was clean and pleasant. I hope to be back next year.

Don't stay here

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location is nice. House was clean. BUT--beds are cheap and very uncomfortable. Furniture was cheap and charmless. It looked like college frat house furniture. The glass is broken in many of the windows. Kitchen is ill-equipped and with only cheap dishes and pots and pans. No washer/dryer. Front door is nailed shut. Don't stay there. Not comfortable.
