This Grand Mountain Lodge sits on the banks of the mighty Rio Grande. This property is one of the most unique river properties in the West with approximately 15 acres nestled in the river bottom. The views and solitude of this property are unprecedented. The waterfowl flies past the property on a daily basis and the summer menagerie of birds provides a majestic chorus of nature. There are deer and other wildlife that frequent the property. If you are looking for a mountain retreat that is nestled away this is your answer. This home is close to the South Fork, CO and only about 29 minutes from Wolf Creek Ski Area. The open floor-plan and vaulted ceilings make this a Grand home with the large rock fireplace extending from floor to ceiling. The kitchen provides lots of space for entertaining. This is an incredible property for family gatherings and smaller weddings. One can also inquire about the guest cottage next door when scheduling your family vacation. I just found my dream home!! This house is absolutely beautiful! I got married in south fork and needed a place for a nice family gathering for dinners. It was perfect! Pool table was a huge hit. The back patio was was so great to sit at and hear the creek! There was more than enough room for all of us girls to get wedding ready! Thank you so much for hosting mu family. It truly made my whole wedding experience a million times better. The host was fantastic, so helpful! We are already planning our next stay!!

Promising property but conditions were filthy!

Beautiful piece of property but the entire house was dirty and disgusting! Toilet bases had hair and gunk at the bases. Bed sheets in several of the bedrooms stunk along with the bed covers. We had to actually wash our bedding and bedspreads. Heat would not work in downstairs bedroom and bedroom was extremely hot. They had fans this particular bedroom, but the fans and blades were full of dirt, so we had to also clean the fans before using them. The upstairs balcony was full of cobwebs and bird poop, so this area had to be cleaned before using the balcony. The bottom of the oven was so dirty that the first time we went to use it the build up of crud on the bottom burnt the bottom element out, so we could not use the oven except for broiling. Mattress had no mattress covers, so it's just another example of cleanliness. The upstairs TV we could not get to work, so only the TV downstairs could be used. The information booklet left for guests was not helpful in the least. It actually had an error in the WIFI password, so the first night we were trying to get in touch with property manager and he didn't know, so he put us in contact with the owner. It was simply them having the password with a capital "S" instead of a small "s": Example: They had Skitrout instead of skitrout. Many of the home windows you could barely see out because of all the cobwebs and dirt on them. I could say more but I'm out of space to submit.

Beautiful view of the river

Vacationed with our children and grandchildren at the Lazy River Ranch for a few days. What a wonderful spot, we rented Kayaks and tubes, and were able to enjoy the river right outside the back door. The highlight of our stay was when 3 large bucks made their way to the river one evening. Loved the layout of the house and the well stocked kitchen.

Beautiful

This cabin was in the most perfect location. It's so relaxing and big enough to host our entire family. It had all the appliances we needed. The kitchen was our favorite part. Very pieceful. Great fishing out the back. The back porch was fantastic. It was just an all around great place to stay! We will be booking again!

FAMILY 4TH of July Fishing Trip

Beautiful home right on the banks of the Rio Grande River. We enjoyed our stay at the Lazy River Ranch, home was comfortable, clean and a great place to base out of for our float fishing trip, plus we were able to catch trout just steps from the back porch!
