This apartment was perfect! The location was amazing and centrally located to so many lovely places, as well as many tube stations. The apartment/flat was easy to locate and Patrick was very easy to work with for this booking. His son was in the flat when we arrived and showed us around the place and answered any of our questions. If I had any additional questions, I would reach out to Patrick and he was very quick and helpful with his responses. The flat was clean, well organized and everything looked as expected. I would definitely rent this again.

Location is incredible and is centrally located to many must-see sites and there are several tube stations nearby. The apt is clean with a very modern bathroom and kitchen that was also well-stocked for cooking. Patrick was easy to work with and met us when we arrived to go over everything. Would definitely rent it again.

Walk to many places

Great location, in center of theatre district, literally across the street from Dishoom (maybe the most popular restaurant in London, rightfully so). Museums, Thames, Covent Garden just blocks away. Walked to British Museum, Mayfair, St Paul’s. Fortnum & Mason and Neal’s Yard Dairy very close so great to have a kitchen. Very clean, comfortable one bedroom.

Nice flat, great location

Excellent stay in London

We had a lovely stay in London at this apartment. The location was fantastic! All the amenities we needed. Communication with the owner was good. The lifts were out for the first couple days of our stay (owner let us know in advance) but they did get sorted which was good. We met the homeowner on the check in date and got a tour of the property. The place was a little tough to locate on first go - not sure it was just us but if you want something to put in Google, punch in Barnaby Chocolate. Its right next door. Bed was comfortable. Area is a little loud on the weekends BUT with the window arrangements they have you don't hear it unless the windows are open. Our train was scheduled to come in early, and the owner was nice enough to let us check in early. Anyway, loved the stay. If you choose to stay here, you won't be disappointed. Thank you!

Brilliant!

This apartment is well equipped, in a fantastic location near tube stops (3 minute walk), grocery stores, restaurants (Dishoom is across the street, a gelato shop is at the front door and is a quick walk to Chinatown. There's a washer/dryer, a nice French Press coffee maker. All supplies were there at arrival including a BAG of coffee, laundry and dishwasher soap and lots of towels, linens, pillows, etc. Good internet, tv, and appliances. Normal city noise with the windows open, but not excessive. There were also 2 fans to keep the air moving. Owners responded within minutes when I contacted them through VRBO, text, or phone. One of the best vacation rentals I've had!

Fantastic apartment in the heart of it all

This place is so great, the location can't be beat! The kitchen is larger than the pictures make it look, and has everything you need. I was surprised how quiet it was considering the central location.

Another great stay

Another great stay in my favorite London flat. Its location in the heart of theatre land is perfect as I saw 10 shows in 8 days and walked to all of the theatres.

Absolutely concur with all other reviews. Patrick is wonderful to work with. The apartment is exactly as it appears in the photos. Patrick has included all sorts of helpful amenities, including soft sheets and fabulous towels. Location is amazing.

Wonderful!

I had the most wonderful stay in Patrick’s property! He was very communicative from my booking until the day I arrived, where he met me in person and showed me around the apt. The property was very clean and had everything I needed, including a washing machine which allowed me to pack a bit more lightly. It was just me traveling solo to visit with my daughter, who is a ballet student and already lives in London, so I had more than enough room. You can’t beat the location (one of my favorite aspects) as you are close to literally everything - restaurants, shopping, and Tube stations. Wonderful doesn’t even describe my stay completely. I was in London for 2 weeks and this property became my little home away from home and it was a terrific place to be!! Patrick and his wife were the kindest hosts!

The Best!

This was our second stay at Patrick's apt and wouldn't even consider anywhere else. From our first enquiry, Patrick answered quickly and was very helpful with any questions we had. The apt is clean, has everything you want and is in the best location in London...central to everything. I would rate it as 5 star and definitely recommend it as the best place for an enjoyable stay in London. Susan Scully

Great time in London

We had a wonderful stay here. The flat is perfectly situated for shopping, dining, and exploring by metro. Communication with Patrick was flawless and he kindly gave us info on a few local restaurants and also some scoop on Wembley ahead of our travel there for the Harry Styles concert. The unit is extremely well kitted out and we were able to breakfast at home each day before heading out. We truly wanted for nothing and would definitely rebook when returning to London. The area is very lively but it’s pretty quiet in the flat unless it’s garbage collection morning, which would be the case anywhere. Although the flat doesn’t have AC, the provided fans kept us comfortable despite the unusual temps. Thanks again to Patrick for a great rental experience!

Wonderful, as always

My wife and I have stayed in Patrick Hanlon's apartments on many previous occasions. We have once before stayed in his apartments with our daughter and son-in-law. On all occasions our stay has been as near perfect as possible. The apartments are furnished to the highest level of comfort. The location could not be better. We cannot believe that anyone would find anything to complain about. Highest possible rating.

A perfect apartment in the middle of everything

We stayed at Patrick's charming and comfortable apt for a week in late April 2023. We had stayed there several times pre-pandemic, and are happy to report that it is even better than before. The location is great for the London theatre and museums, as well as pubs and restaurants...a wonderful neighborhood. It is very well-equipped, clean, spacious, quiet, and with nice street views from the third floor windows. And Patrick always made us feel like part of his family - warm and welcoming. Thanks.

Great flat in an unbeatable location for theater & sightseeing

I have stayed in this flat many times, and this visit was another wonderful stay. You can walk everywhere from here and the flat has all the amenities including a separate washer and a separate dryer. The owners are lovely with great communication and check in process.

Nice 1-bedroom apartment in Covent Garden

We’ve stayed at several 1-bedroom VRBO units in Covent Garden over the years. This was the best. Good layout, the windows effectively seal out the street noise, responsive owner. 4 marvelous bakeries for breakfast within walking distance, Dishoom, Lamb and Flag Pub, Foyle’s, Stanford’s travel bookstore, all nearby.

Fabulous stay in SOHO

The Apartment is centrally located in a very lively area of London. The check-in and check-out mechanisms were perfect. Patrick was very prompt to reply to any of our queries and we hope to meet him in person during a future visit. The Kitchen was a godsend and the apartment was scrupulously clean. If one wants to nitpick, the water pressure in the bathroom was low though I suspect it to be par for the course in Central London and after all, we do have to conserve in these days and times. The noise from St. Martins Lane literally disappears when you close the double windows. As far as visitors from the new World are concerned, the cyclonic fan was as good as any AC, though I would suggest keeping one fan in the bedroom and one in the living room as we kept moving the fan from the Living room to the bedroom as necessary. Leicester Square Underground was literally around the corner and that gives one a gateway to any place in London via the underground. All in all, this Apartment and the owner Patrick Hanlon deserve 5 stars for a very well located well maintained, Apartment in a very central area of London. We hope to be back.

Perfect Week in Covent Garden

The apartment is the perfect size for 2 people with a very well supplied kitchen and the added bonus of a washer and dryer in the unit. The location could not have been better. It is steps to the main tube lines and multiple bus lines. All theaters and many major sights are within walking distance. The apartment was spotless.

We've stayed here several times and it's always been a pleasure!

We were here for a week this visit and can only say that what we've said in previous reviews is still true. It's an island of peace and comfort smack in the middle of London's hustle-bustle, just off Leicester Square. If you like feeling "at home" during the hours you need to spend recharging from the rigours of life on the big city streets, this is the place for you.
