The stay was amazing. This is the second time we stayed. He always lets us check in early and everything is clean. He is also very easy to communicate with. We will be using this house again.

We had a great time staying in this historic Vine neighborhood home to attend Kalamazoo College homecoming. The house had some lovely touches like snacks and a basket of toiletries that helped to make our stay that much more comfortable. The neighborhood is lovely and the street was very quiet and safe. We had a nice time walking to get bagels in the morning and it was excellent to be able to have our dog along for the trip. Nate, the host, was exceptional with his communication and even offered early check-in and late check-out. I would certainly recommend this property!

Great home, decent location

The host was wonderful and very responsive throughout our stay - the house was clean and cozy. All in all a pretty good trip - the only issue we had was a small bit of ruckus one of our nights but nothing that was unexpected for staying downtown. Otherwise distance to the heart of the city and things to do in the area was great and would definitely recommend for a quick trip to Kalamazoo.

The property was just as listed. We really appreciated the instruction folder with additional listing of things to do and events to take in. The kids, (and I) really enjoyed the "Welcome to our home" treat basket. It was also very nice to have condiments and spices available to use during our stay. Perfect Family House in Kalamazoo

This house was perfect for our family. The location, amenities and everything worked out beautifully for our soccer tournament weekend. When we go back for this tournament in the future, I will be checking this home first.

Weekend stay at the Vine in downtown Kalamazoo

The property was nicely decorated with a friendly, family feeling. Had a great backyard with a fire pit to just kick back and relax. The beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen was a nice size. The dining room was decorated with a lot of greenery with an inviting outdoor feeling. My family and I had a relaxing, beautiful weekend! Would definitely recommend this property!

Most helpful host ever!

We stayed here for a marathon so I asked if we could check out late. That wasn't a problem at all, and early check-in was even offered. We had everything we needed during the stay (except coffee. There was a coffee machine and filters, but we didn't see any coffee and had to get up at 5 am so we didn't have time to fuss with it). I especially loved all the toiletries in the shower. Kitchen also appeared stocked, though we didn't really need to use anything. It was a very short drive downtown; Easy to get to restaurants. I would definitely stay here again.

Clean, Cute, but Tight Quarters

Property is very clean and well decorated. Furniture is comfortable. Lots of small touches in the home make it very cozy and convenient: snacks, toothpaste, lots of towels. We wished we had time to use the fire pit out back. Check out procedures were easy breezy. We had a bit of trouble opening the lock at check in, but that might we'll have been user error. The binder from the hosts was very convenient. We used it to pick a pizza delivery place one night.Our party had a lot of fun and we have plenty of space to invite a few guests in between our weekend activities. One small caveat, much of the house is very narrow. Ex: First floor bathroom has a column in front of the toilet so you have to sit sideways to use it. Plus sized persons or individuals with mobility concerns might have trouble getting full use of the property.
