Cozy 2 Bedroom 1 bathroom house on the Fox River and next to the Friendship Trail that loops around Little Lake Butte des Morts. Good fishing and walking, hiking and biking trails .Downtown Neenah and Menasha near by with plenty of shopping, restaurants and bars.
Bedroom #1 full size bed with 10" memory foam mattress. Bedroom #2 queen bed. Living room pull out sofa bed.
Ceiling fans in the kitchen and #1 bedroom.
Two window air conditioners 1 in the living room and #2 bedroom.
Kitchen table with 5 chairs.

Clean place located far enough out of the hustle but close enough to reach any activities including the down town shopping/dining exeriences of Neenah WI. Verys retfule environment for my mother and uncle to rest at they both said quiet and comfortable.

Quaint/charming little place. Very clean with a stocked kitchen. Ideal for a couple's getaway. Very suitable for two people but no more than that or it could get uncomfortable. Layout is a bit awkward, in which you have to enter through the bathroom to get to the bedroom. Window air conditioners worked well but noisy. If you're a light sleeper, I'd look elsewhere. Between that and the many trains in the late night/ early mornings, we didn't sleep well, which was the main negative for a relaxing getaway.

Great little place on the lake

We stayed at this rental 3 nights. It's the perfect size for a couple of small family. The bedrooms are small, but you don't come to a place like this to spend time in the bedrooms much, so it worked out for us. The bed was comfortable and so were the couches in the living area. Plenty of towels. We had family over for a grill out one day and the propane grill on the property was very convenient. The neighborhood was quiet and we felt safe. The little lake butte des mortes loop trail is literally right next to the rental and we walked it & enjoyed watching the pelicans and other water fowl. Ray was good with communication. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would probably be back on a future visit.

This house was perfect for our needs. Very thoughtfully put together with anything desired on hand. Lovely location with park, walking, and lake only steps away.

Cute property close to walking trails. On the river. No response from owner when I reached out about check out procedure, unclear instructions. Ripped door screen meant a lot of bugs in the house. Furnace was insanely loud so make sure to use the property in warmer weather. Also bring a sleep mask, sheer curtains with horizontal blinds may look nice, but don’t keep out light. Bring ear plugs if you aren’t used to wildlife noise, as there is a lot.

Nice getaway

The home was a perfect place for a small family or group of friends. Beautiful area with lots to explore. Would definitely return for another stay.

Great experience at this lovely property!

This is a beautiful riverfront property in a quiet neighborhood with a nearby park and access to the bike/walking path. We enjoyed watching the waterfowl, especially the flock of white pelicans. The property is tastefully decorated, very clean and we appreciated the snacks that were provided. Communication with the property owner was timely and he provided the information needed and made sure we knew he was available if something came up. My son and his wife live in the area, and I look forward to booking this property again for a future stay!

Lovely little property on the river

This is a nice little house on the Fox River, with a beautiful view. Three of us stayed for a few days while in Appleton for a family event, and it was just perfect.

Cute house, great location

We stayed for a few days to visit family and friends in the area. There’s a great park across the street for little ones and being located right on the trail made it easy to walk and bike to visit family or go downtown with almost no need to drive anywhere. We loved it!

Lovely little house right on the river

Enjoyed our stay a lot. Small & very nicely provisioned. Well located with lots to walk to. Great river and nature. Responsive host. Maybe bring your own coffee if you’re picky (we are so we did). Loved all the pelicans.

Lacks A/C and No Hot-tub

The home lacks adequate a/c and is hot. There are fans but it is not appropriate for the warm conditions. We have allergies and need the a/c on and the window unit was the smallest we've ever seen. The couch blocks the unit as well making the air difficult to circulate. Additionally, there is no hot tub- one of the main reasons we chose this property. We were going to use the grill and the top of the grill was disgusting. There were earwigs all inside the grill. A little upkeep on this would make a world of difference.

Very nice stay.

Wonderful area, very nice accommodations, we would return if possible. Lots of birdsong, white pelicans, we saw a group of sturgeons. Our host answered our questions when asked. Reading lights by the couch, bed and futon would be an excellent addition since we are older, avid readers.
