A 3500 sf stunning space with pool oasis. You will be thrilled by the architectural and historical showpiece. Great for families and pet friendly. Insta worthy.

You have full access to the pool, hot tub, fire table and a lot of patio seatings. You will also enjoy an entertainment room with air hocky, foosball, and board games.

Chef's kitchen, luxury Wolf / Monogram appliances. Rainfall shower head & tiled arch in bathrooms.

THE SPACE
The booking is for a 3500 sf stunning space with a pool house.

The main building has 4 bedrooms (1 king and 3 queens), 2 living rooms, and 2 dining rooms. King bedroom is accessible from one of the queen bedroom. There are 2 full baths on the 2nd floor, and 1 half bath on the 1st floor.

The pool house features a studio (1 queen and full bath) on the 2nd floor, and an entertainment room (with full bath) on the 1st floor.

All the bedrooms are on the 2nd floor. There is a futon sofa bed in the pool house entertainment room, which is on the 1st floor. If needed, hosts are ready to set up additional air mattress.

Beautiful property for our family of twelve to begin celebrating the holidays. The host was immediate in responding to inquiries regarding the property prior to our arrival, and went above and beyond in providing additional amenities to accommodate sleeping for our large group.Upon arrival we were greeted with a few treats from the host. This gesture was the start to a great stay where we had easy access to the River Walk area and surrounding beautiful Hill Country towns.Our group tends to plan around eating and had an in-home chef prepare a meal for us one evening. The main dining table very comfortably accommodates 12. If dining out is preferred the restaurant options in the area are plentiful. One of our best experiences was at Ladino where we had a prefix menu due to our group size. The food was plentiful and exceptional.A great area to visit and a comfortable home to stay in.

The bathrooms are not ensuite. Two of the mattresses were very uncomfortable. Pool had quite a bit of devri and was unusable for the first 2 days. After the pool guy cleaned it, we still had doubts and chose not to swim. The beautiful chandalier in the interior property pictures was missing, so trying to find lighting to get up the stairs for our evening arrival was tricky at best. The granite counter top was broken, and there was stagnant standing water in the kitchen. The house itself has great architectural details, but I would not stay again. The backward needs a good cleaning with lots of items in need of removal. We asked for a partial refund due to the above, reaching out twice, but never had a response. The location was in a somewhat rough neighborhood.

First neighborhood is on the shady side. Now,where do I start, we walk in and are attacked by fleas, a lot of fleas throughout the house. Texted owners and he sent an exterminator with-in a few hours. Next day still had fleas. Third day texted and exterminator was sent out again quickly and also the freezer quit working. Someone was sent out the same day and left bags of ice as short term solution while we were there. The house was falling apart and not all that clean. I have many more pictures I’d like to send. I also feel that we should be refunded at least half of our money back for what we went through and the condition of the house. It is literally falling apart and needs to be cleaned badly. We did our own cleaning in order to stand it and that’s not what one would expect when going on vacation. Please contact me so I can explain further. Thank you.

A Real Spanish Gem

A great property with character to it. The hosts were very informative and responsive, the instructions for the house were clear and well laid out, as well. The location is in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to the interstate to let you move around San Antonio quickly. I would highly recommend it!

Nice Property, Well Maintained, Good Location

We had a good stay. This is an older home in a great location. I feel it’s fairly well maintained and has a lot of historical vibes. I would probably stay here again. The house was large had plenty of space.

Castle Home

We had a fantastic stay. We were in the area for our grandsons graduation from boot camp to Air Man. (Aim High) The host are right on top of everything. Enjoyed the game room, pool and hot tub. Cooked great family meals in the kitchen. We absolutely loved this place. So full of wonder. We were expecting a Unicorn to come by. That’s how enchanting it is. Would love to stay again if we are ever in the San Antonio area. Thank you for such a memorable stay.

Historic, nostalgic and very comfortable

We loved the Spanish style architecture with modern touches and expansive rooms. Pool was filled with leaves and sand at bottom with filter clogged. Games in pool house need repair and door handle in pool house bedroom. Leaves and debris on deck and lawn tables. Lots of other cool games in the home. Large kitchen appliances and televisions.

San Antonio Spring Break

This is a super cool Spanish house from the 30s with many modern amenities. It has the charm of an older house but the feel of a remodeled/more recent house. The owners were extremely accommodating and responsive throughout the booking process and our stay. We had a great time and enjoyed our stay!

Family gathering

I live in San Antonio, and recently had family come in to visit. We rented this beautiful home and it was delightful. With multiple living areas, a very large kitchen, a game room across from the pool, and a separate “garage apartment” as the 5th room, it was a very nice stay for my family. The host was quick to respond to my questions and there were no issues. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Beautiful Property

Loved this house! If you are looking to be within walking distance of San Antonio this is not the place. It’s about a 10-20 mins drive to downtown depending on traffic. It worked perfect for us as we were with 3 other families and needed a place to stay for a cheer competition The backyard is beautiful and we spent a lot of time sitting outside visiting. Don’t let the neighborhood fool you. It is very quiet. However, there is nothing to see or do in that area. There is a HEB close by so we were able to get groceries easily. If we ever need a place to stay with a large group again we will definitely be back!!

Outstanding Property

This is a fabulous property and we greatly enjoyed spending our weekend here. We used the property for a business retreat and were happy to see a dining room large enough for the number of adults expected to be staying at the property (which is not common for rentals with more than three bedrooms). There was ample space to spread out when we needed a break and the dining table served as a conference table for our needs. The separate poolhouse is a nice apartment if anyone requires extra privacy and the downstairs area was a great hangout spot for us in the evening. We all really loved this home.

Great Location and Beautiful Place!

We loved our stay at this house! Such a fun getaway place! The first day we were there, there were a lot of wasps outside by the pool, but we found some wasp spray at the house and were able to kill most of them. Our second pool day was a lot more enjoyable lol The location was close enough to everything we wanted to do that most things were a quick drive. We are glad we rented a car though simply because it provided a little more flexibility than Uber would have (and also because we drove to a rodeo outside of the city). Overall we enjoyed our stay!

Amazing house

We were there to celebrate my son graduating from the Air Force Boot Camp. The house worked great with our family. We enjoyed being only 20 minutes away from the Lackland Air Force Base and so close to the Alamo and the Riverwalk. It’s a good location. Great house. They were very easy to get a hold of and if we had any issues at all, they came out and dealt with them immediately wonderful host wonderful house we will be back!!

magnificent oasis

This house was different (in a good way). We had planned to do more site seeing and tourist sites BUT the house was just absolutely beautiful and chose to stay on the property for most of our stay lol. Had a few questions and the host was wonderful, got a response within 15 minutes. Would definitely stay here again. Personal preference** but I wish there was a fenced potty spot for the pups, was not a big deal but kinda inconvenient. & I couldn’t find outlets outdoors to plug in my car charger 😭

Family fun

From the time we arived we were taken back by how beautiful and spacious this house is. There was something for everyone to do here. The kids enjoyed the pool and gameroom. And us adults enjoyed the many chill areas inside and out. This was exactly what we needed. And if we needed anything the host was quick to respond and very helpful.

Gorgeous and roomy home

This home was perfect for our visit!! Very roomy, fun, lots of options and space for family time with plenty of space for breaking away if anyone needed some space. The kitchen was great and there were so many neat features to the house. There were a few things that could use some love. The outdoor area is overgrown and could use pruning and cleaned up a bit and some of the games were broken and could be replaced. The game room rugs could probably be tossed as they are smelly. I would also recommend dish towels and oven mitts be added to the kitchen. The grill was a great bonus!! Overall this home was exactly what we needed for our visit! Very good and fun experience! The hosts were wonderful as well and addressed any questions promptly and were very helpful.

Couple’s Getaway

Four couples decided to go to San Antonio for 3 nights. We loved the property! There were a couple of glitches, but the owner responded quickly to correct them. We would definitely go again!
