Great place to stay. Lovely comfortable bed with crisp white cotton sheets. Everything you need in a lovely setting and loved having the wood fire. Would recommend to anyone looking for a cosy place to stay and if we have the opportunity to stay in Lobethal again we would definitely book this cottage again.

Lovely place in Adelaide Hills, had perfect facilities - plenty of parking, great kitchen with all appliances, effective heating & lovely touches such as pancakes and toppings for breakie. Easy drive to wineries. Would highly recommend

Great Stay

My sisters and I stayed here for the long weekend and we were very happy with the property. It was very clean, well organised with everything we needed and easy to find. The host is very good at communicating often replying to messages within a day.

Very accessible to Golding Wines

Enjoyable relaxed stay. Attended a wedding at Golding Wines so made a very short drive back to our accommodation.

Delightful weekend getaway

Stunning cottage with tasteful artwork, plush furnishings, quality supplies, comfortable beds, great entertainment system, immaculate gardens, convenient location, thougtful provisions, and the list goes on...The sighting of bunnies and the sounds of kookaburra were a bonus to our experience..Also, Richard is a great communicator. Mother/ daughter getaway

We had a wonderful stay at this gorgeous cottage! Well equipped and beautifully presented with all the comforts you need. Set in a secluded area the serenity and peace made our stay even more special. We highly recommend.

The stay is comfortable and we are hoping to recommend your place to friends and family. We wish the hot water system was more powerful, as we did run out of hot water and the system is slow reheating.

Right at home

We had a great time in Richard's place. The kids were well catered for with a couple of board games and a high chair for the wee one. Richard was great to communicate with. Our stay was lovely, and we would definitely book with Richard again.

The house was very clean and having the fire ready to light was lovely. We really enjoyed our stay at Lobethal, great walks, meals and working on a jigsaw next to the fire in between. What more could you want?!

Beautiful cottage

We were married last weekend at Pike and Joyce wines. My husband and his groomsmen stayed the night before the wedding at the cottage and had their getting ready photos there. The second night my husband and I stayed after our wedding. The owners left us a bottle of bubbles to celebrate which was lovely of them. Thank you

There is no question that the property was as advertised and more. The cottage was spacious and very clean. The kitchen had everything we needed for preparing meals. The dining area was comfortable as was the living room. We never attempted to use the tv so I can't address that. The bedrooms were everything they needed to be with both queen beds being very comfortable. The yard was pretty and we loved the option of sitting out front or in the back. We spent three nights and wish we could find places like this in our other travels where we are spending that many nights or more. Anyone staying in the Lobethal area would be hard pressed to find a nicer and more comfortable place to stay. Many thanks to Richard the host. If we ever get back to the area we will surely want to stay here again.
