Snow-dusted pines frame the approach as you arrive in Fraser, where crisp mountain air and wide-open views immediately slow the pace. Inside, warmth builds around glowing gas fireplaces, and evenings naturally settle into quiet conversations, games, and long soaks beneath a winter sky. This is a place where days are shaped by the mountains and nights are meant for gathering indoors.
The setting
Set on four acres in Stagecoach Meadows, the home looks out toward the Continental Divide, Indian Peaks, and Devil’s Thumb. Open space and nearby trails stretch beyond the backyard, creating a sense of seclusion while still keeping you close to town and the slopes. Winter Park Resort is about 15 minutes away, making early ski mornings and relaxed après-ski returns easy.
Indoor living
The main living area opens beneath vaulted ceilings, with hardwood and stone floors and a gas fireplace anchoring the space. Large windows keep the mountains in view while you unwind with a movie or a book. A second living area downstairs adds room to spread out, with another gas fireplace and space for games and downtime. TVs with standard cable, WiFi, and a comfortable layout make it easy to relax after a full day outside.
Sleeping arrangements
Sleeping spaces are arranged across multiple levels for privacy and flexibility. The main-floor primary suite features a king bed, an ensuite bathroom with a jetted tub and steam shower, and access to a private deck. Upstairs, two bedrooms with king beds share a bathroom, while another bedroom with a queen bed includes its own private bath. The lower level includes a bunk room with two twin-over-full bunk beds, along with a full bathroom and easy access to the second living area.
Kitchen and dining
The kitchen is designed for real cooking, whether you’re fueling up before heading to the lifts or settling in for a long winter dinner. Stainless steel appliances, ample counter space, and a full set of cooking essentials support everything from simple breakfasts to shared evening meals. A dining table nearby brings everyone together.
Outdoor living
Cold-weather days end well in the private hot tub, available year-round and especially inviting after skiing or snowshoeing. The patio and backyard remain open to the views, and the fire pit offers a spot to gather on clear evenings when the stars come out early.
Comfort, access, and extras
A whole-home humidifier helps keep the mountain air comfortable, and a washer and dryer support longer stays. The two-stall garage and free parking on the premises make winter arrivals and departures simpler. Families will find children’s books, toys, games, and a playroom, along with a high chair and children’s dinnerware.
The area
From winter skiing and snowboarding to scenic drives and nearby Rocky Mountain National Park, the location supports year-round exploration. When you return, the house offers a quiet, warm base to rest, reconnect, and enjoy the rhythm of mountain life.
