This great home with awesome views of Beaver Lake and Beaver Dam is the perfect vacation home for groups and families alike! The location of this home is convenient for swimming, fishing, and boating with lake access just one and a half miles from the house. It is also just 12 miles from historic downtown Eureka Springs, where you can enjoy sightseeing, shopping, and great restaurants. For those who are traveling by air, XNA is 38.5 miles. Boat rental is available at Starkey Marina seven miles away, approximately.

This gorgeous lakefront home offers an open floor plan that is great for entertaining! The full kitchen, living, and dining area all have beautiful views of Beaver Lake from the nearly full glass wall with patio sliders to the deck. There is a large stone fireplace with a rustic wood hearth that adds warmth and ambiance on cool evenings and can be enjoyed from the dining and kitchen areas as well. The home has three large bedrooms, two of which are upstairs and have patio sliders with their own private balcony. In the walkout basement, there is a large open room with two beds. Additionally, this room has a reading loft and a great area for playing board games as well as watching TV.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). This is a beautiful place to stay. It’s quiet and there is a great place to sit outside and enjoy life. The driveway is steep, keep that in mind if you’re on a motorcycle. We were able to manage just fine but something to note to my biker friends. We only had one issue, when we started the dishwasher with the soap provided the foam started leaking out of the front door. We immediately called to let them know what happened, the gentleman I spoke with was very nice and told us to turn it off as he would send a maintenance person out right away. Excellent customer service!!

We had no hot water for 4 days in 40 degree weather, there were 3 pieces of broken furniture in the living area, there was no ceiling and exposed studs/pipes in an unfinished bathroom, heavy dust and spiderwebs, etc. Needless to say we felt as if the listing was a bait and switch, as there was nothing that was “Newly remodeled” in this property. We found several safety hazards such as empty smoke alarms laying around and there was no carbon monoxide detector as listed. We were disappointed in the lack of concern and response from the customer service numbers provided.
Torn window screen.
No molding around the bathroom door.
Missing ceiling tiles.
Broken kitchen counter tiles.

Quiet and Nice

The place was dated which is fine because you’re in eureka springs. The lumpy king mattress needed to be replaced years ago. IMPORTANT: You better have decent backing skills if you rent this place. The driveway is a learning experience. You either back in or back out into the road on a blind corner with a steep driveway.

Rented it for a lake weekend with friends the place was great. It is a touch tricky to get a boat trailer into other than that not a negative thing about the place

Beaver Lake Retreat

This is a great stay. The house is huge, in great shape, with great views. Easy for a multi family stay. It's maybe a 2 minute drive to the dam and all the dive sites. It's also an easy drive to Eureka Springs. It can be a bit tricky if you are pulling a boat to park here. There is a back gravel drive that works best, but it does take some effort. That said, we will stay here again

Good location, close to Eureka Springs with Lake view from upper balcony. Poor kept with broken verticals in master suite, broken microwave handle, torn kitchen curtain, cockroach feces in utensil drawer by oven and overall dirty plates, silverware. Not what we expected!

Not for bad drivers

The most important part is parking. This property has eureka springs parking and if you have a backing problem, this isn’t for you. You are either backing downhill into the driveway or backing out uphill into the roadway, either way It’s uphill from the house into the road. It’s a blind corner and people fly around the corner.The property is a bit dated, some updates would be great. There are a couple of things that are important to keep people happy. A decent mattress and good coffee. This place failed on both. The king mattress is long overdue to be replaced and The coffee maker needs to be tossed. It literally took an hour for it to make a pot. We bought a new one and now have a travel coffee maker.

Getaway

Very cute house in the woods with a view of Beaver Lake. It had a cabin like feel with the decorations. The kitchen was stocked, comfortable beds. My sisters and I went to Eureka Springs during the day but came back in time to sit on the deck for awhile. Only problem we had was with the coffee pot. It probably needs some vinegar run thru it because it took a long time to brew! Easy fix!

Property was good except for the fact that the access for vehicles was limited to truck only...my car bottomed out and ripped the front end on my for fusion. Driveways had loose gravel and ruts .the home itself was immaculate and very well kept. We enjoyed our stay just had to cram everyone in to one vehicle to go to town.

Nice view

Nice view, pics show view of lake from upper bedroom deck not main deck, main deck can see some of lake. Grill worked great and plenty of seating and tables. Kitchen pans need a little work for cooking, plenty of utensils and a small dishwasher available. coffee maker works well. Washing machine and dryer worked well. Internet/Wifi was spotty and we did call about that. The drive into the cabins 2 driveways is at a sharp angle, not as pictured so be very careful at night. Overall a good location and we had a nice time.

Very disappointing

Peoperty boasts of views from deck, deck is not usable. Felt very unsafe on deck. It was very dirty, furniture was gross and broken. Grill broken not usable.

Gorgeous.. with some flaws

Getting to the house was fairly easy, if your not used to very very steep inclines.. this is not the house for you, the driveway is very hard to get in and out of (nothing like the picture shows). There is very little sitting space in the living room, some of the boards on the back porch feel like their going to break at any moment, the basement is missing some ceiling tiles and there is some smells of mold.. also, a cage like thing off the basement that looks to have had something wild in it at some point.. There is absolutely no access to the garage and attempting to ask for it, went without a response.. Overall, the scenery was absolutely beautiful! Location was great but I wish the photos would have been more accurate to how the house actually sits.

Not as described

Property has a wonderful view and is located conveniently close to diving if that is why you are here. The description says “newly remodeled” and that is just blatantly not true. It has had a few updates since it was originally built but none are new. Nothing wrong with it in the condition it’s in so I'm not sure why it is described this way. Upstairs toilet wasn’t cleaned and carpet seriously needs to be cleaned. AC was set on 78 downstairs and turned off upstairs; took hours to cool off the house when we arrived late in the evening. Main level bathroom light didn’t work, so impossible to use shower after dark. Beds are very firm, which is fine if that’s what you like but all of our hips and backs hurt all night and we struggled to sleep comfortably. I think all the other amenities were as described.
