Our BRAND NEW Ocean SkyLoft will blow your mind. Spectacular ocean views from both the balcony and terraces of a vintage refurbished 1982 McDonald Douglas, MD-82 airframe. The fuselage's two bedrooms offer a total of four queen sized beds, a dining table for eight, a wet bar , a kitchenette and an adjacent living room on the 800 square foot teak terrace. Each bedroom has a separate entrance from the living room/ terrace and its own bathroom. Plenty of space and privacy to relax , witness explosive sunsets and watch the monkeys swinging in the jungle canopy.

Five stories above the jungle floor, SkyLoft has a romantic private balcony located off the primary bedroom, with an outdoor , very private soaking tub overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Float away on top of the world.....where the beach meets the jungle. Nothing like this exists anywhere in the world.

Our guests have full access to the adjacent resort which includes 3 pools ( one is adult only) 2 bars, 5 restaurants within a very short walk , hiking trails, abundant wildlife viewing on your balcony, free parking, daily maid service, free wifi, tour desk. 5 minute walk to the white sand beach of Manuel Antonio for surfing and swimming. The National Park is a 5 minute taxi or bus ride .

Our private concierge will arrange airport pickup. romantic candlelit dinners on the beach, sport fishing charters, zip lining adventures , horse back riding, waterfalls, and all that our paradise has to offer. We were overwhelmed with wonder! What an incredible, unique stay for a couple nights for our family of 5. Our kids were all comfortable, we had everything we needed and the staff was so helpful! We very much enjoyed our stay and loved the monkeys who came to visit several times a day!

Paradise!

We had the absolute best time staying at this property. The planes are so fun and comfortable - the kids loved them. The whole resort is peaceful and full of wildlife. The food is great and the staff was helpful and friendly. We cannot wait to return!

Super fun experience for our kids

It’s a very unique experience. The views are amazing! The monkeys added a lot of fun to the property. Beyond the airplane, the rest of the resort is worth it. The staff is very kind and we saw all sorts of animals (macaws, sloths, lizards, tucans.) A little bit of a hike to the ocean but my 4 year old twins could handle it so it can’t be too bad. I would definitely recommend.

Stunning Location off with perfect views of Manuel Antonio

It is hard to know where to start with this place. The Sky Loft is such a unique and exceptional place to stay. It has one huge deck perfect for family hang outs and one smaller one with a perfect sunset view. The hotel staff were all helpful and kind. Monkey's came and visited each morning we were there and watching them wrestle each other on the deck was hilarious. Can't recommend this place enough!

Best spot ever!

Where to start…location, view, animals?!?! This was by far the coolest, most unique spot we rented during our 9 day trip. Super clean and comfy, with TVs and a/c!!! Location was a few min from MA park, we had a rental car and got around with no problem. The view from the soaking tub is incredible, used it multiple times, as did the monkeys lol we had white faced and squirrel monkeys everyday, which was the highlight of our daughters trip. We could hear the howler monkeys from the deck as well. I can’t recommend this place enough, you won’t be disappointed! Faith was super quick and responsive, thanks again!

An entirely unique experience

Staying in a converted jet in the middle of the jungle was an amazing experience. This is easily one of the most unique places on the planet. The views from the decks were fantastic. It's not super-luxurious or modern, but the deck off of the port side is where you really get the full benefit. Costa Verde resort has very pretty grounds with a convenient breakfast restaurant and really nice service (and monkeys). There's the famous El Avion restaurant ip the hill, and a couple of other restaurants owned by the resort - just note that the menus all seem somewhat similar. If you're looking for high-end food, then they may not be for you, but if you want to get fed with great views in interesting settings, go for it. El Avion was good for drinks. The pools on the property were nice for a cool-down. Beach down the hill was active and fun and no-frills.

Unique & fabulous

Our family (2 adults and 4 teens) stayed at the Ocean Sky Loft for four nights. It was very clean and one of the most unique accomodations we have ever stayed in! There's nothing like showering in the open air shower listening to howler monkeys. The view is breathtaking from the back patio. We also had visitors on this back patio a few times. Apparently the monkeys know how to turn on the water from the faucet. That of course was one of the most entertaining experiences for our kids. We would definitely stay there again. Be aware though that It is quite an uphill/downhill hike to the beach. We were able to handle it fine but be prepared!It is adjacent to a restaurant that is used for breakfast and lunch. I wasn't too sure at first about having people dining right outside of our rooms. However, we were gone during the day anyway doing activities. So it did not feel too intrusive. And honestly it was nice having breakfast and hot coffee right outside of our door in the mornings... and I did not have to cook myself. We definitely plan on returning one day. We travel quite a bit and this was by far one of the most wonderful experiences and accommodations that we've stayed in.

Still in Awe!

What a vacation! The pictures don’t do it justice. I was worried about not having enough patio furniture- not the case- very comfortable outside patio chairs, coffee table, huge dining table. Monkeys visited us daily- figured out quickly not to leave anything in outside trash can (monkeys know to check that!)… breakfast/lunch restaurant right down your steps. The view… THE VIEW! The kids (& adults) have declared this was their favorite vacation to date. Faith was very helpful with your ideas & connections. The hotel property is a place to explore in itself. Restaurants in walking distance (it is a big hill- but we needed the exercise- lol). The walk to the beach is downhill- which means uphill coming back! Had to stop a couple times. I can’t give enough stars. I already want to be back! (The drive from SJO is long- 2.5hrs- but our driver was super awesome- will stop for bathroom/food/store- whatever you like)
