Perfect Place to stay!

The house is perfect! Clean and beautiful! Our family really enjoyed the stay. The fenced in front yard was perfect for the kids to play. All 5 bedroom are upstairs , and very comfortable. We will be back!

Ouray Family Get-Together

Plenty of room for our three families. The kitchen was beautifully stocked. The outdoor space was comfortable for meals, enjoying long evenings, and kids playing games on the grass. The neighborhood was quiet, and convenient for walking along the river or morning runs. Great location for exploring all that Ouray and the San Juan mountains have to offer. We would use this home again.

Everything was great. The only recommendation is to put in air conditioning. It was very hot at night and difficult to sleep and if you use the stove it is unbearable. Everything else was great.

Son's wedding weekend

The home was great, clean, spacious and everything seemed to work correctly except a slow draining sink in the master bedroom. Communication with the management was absolutely awful. We had a misunderstanding and the manager decided it was a good idea to treat the paying customer as a child. Very disrespectful to someone who spent good money for the house. Regardless of the situation, the manager should have handled it in a more tactful way. It was not, she was awful!!! If the management is changed, I would recommend this house, otherwise, stay away.

Dad’s 90th Birthday Family Celebration

We had 9 family members at Blue Haven but had two other houses so 19 altogether. Blue Haven was perfect in every way for those of us staying there. We ranged in age from 2 to 90. The house is beautifully furnished with decorative touches. The yard has numerous tables and chairs and our entire group could gather for family time. The two year old enjoyed the fenced yard. We were close to town, the pools and not far from Box Canyon Falls and other attractions. Ouray has lots to do and it is only a short drive to several other mountain towns. We drove the Million Dollar Highway to Silverton one day. Everyone in our group constantly mentioned how perfect the house was and that Ouray was outstanding. They are still texting me about how wonderful the house and setting was. Check in was flawless. Our hosts went out of there way to provide a baby crib and high chair and even came up with a stroller! Our stay and 90th B’Day celebration couldn’t have been more perfect. Five stars!

Her years of experience in the ski and property management industries across North America’s premier destinations provided the foundation for a company built on community and exceptional service.

In 2020, the team expanded when Steve moved from Dallas to join Laura in Ouray County. Steve’s arrival marked the beginning of a new chapter for the company, bringing forty-three years of high-level construction management experience to the team. Having served as Vice President for some of the nation’s top General Contractors, he integrated professional expertise in budgeting, procurement, and project oversight into the company’s property maintenance and caretaking operations. His own connection to the state dates back to 1993, when participating in Ride the Rockies ignited a lifelong passion for Colorado’s dramatic landscapes.

Today, Laura and Steve work side-by-side to lead a dedicated team of professionals focused on delivering top-tier property care. When they aren't overseeing the finer details of a guest's stay or maintaining local residences, they are often found embracing the outdoors together.
