Relax and unwind in this cozy home, full of artistic touches. Two bedroom, 1½ bath house, in Quitman, with a short stroll down to Greers Ferry Lake. Tie up your boat on the shore, or put in and out at Cove Creek Landing. Grill out on the expansive covered deck, watch a movie on the big screen TV, get cozy in front of the fireplace, or just enjoy the scenery from the comfy outdoor couch. Perfect for family get-aways, with pets welcome (dogs only, limit 2, please). Fenced in yard. The kitchen is fully equipped for full family meals or entertaining, including bread machine, pancake griddle, waffle iron, Crock pot, and more. The large living area with picture windows faces green space and lake. Laundry room. Sleeps four.
In about 20 minutes, you can be in downtown Heber Springs with its quaint restaurants, antique shops, boutiques, resale shops, and movie theatre. You can also rent kayaks, canoes, and paddle boards at Sulphur Creek Outfitters, located next to Walmart. Award winning trails are located nearby, and if you’re in the mood for scenic fine dining, Red Apple Inn is also 20 minutes away

The kitchen was fully equipped to cook meals. Our dogs enjoyed going down to the lake and my husband enjoyed fishing. The deck was awesome with comfortable seating and sounds of nature all around. The house was cute and unique! Enjoyed our stay very much!

Great place next to the lake! Our kiddo had a blast. We had never been to Arkansas before so having this for our first look at the state was cool. Amazing woods scenery and just what we were looking for…peace and quiet! Plenty of things to do around the lake if youre in to flea markets. Stopped at angies hideaway for lunch one day and it was delicious!

Loved the fenced in back yard for fur babies. Loved sitting on back deck and enjoying view. Nice and clear pathway to the lake. Cookstove left 2 burners didn't properly work. Noticed alot of red wasp and killed 2 of them and watched where they were flying to and from, the red shed next to house. Kitchen could use a much better can opener. Ran out of paper towels night before leaving. A statement "in the book said do not be afraid to use paper towels ". For keeping food particles out of sink. And for absorbing grease . We don't mean to sound negative, however thought this would be helpful to know for future guest. Had a wonderful time and visit. Thank you.

This rental had an excellently stocked kitchen. The deck was an enjoyable outdoor space, and we loved having a propane grill available. My only disappointment was in the fact that the listing states it has a kind size bed but in reality, it is a queen and a double. My complaint is not in the furnishings, but upon returning home, I notified the listing of the error as well as a problem with the ceiling fan in the second room and stated they needed to correct the king bed information as it is misleading. Two weeks later, that has not been changed which is why the rating is not better.

Relaxing week at the lake

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Cute pet friendly cabin. We spent all our time on the porch enjoying the peace and quiet. Houses close by but no one was ever there. The lake was really full due to all the rain in the area but still beautiful. Only flaw was that we never could find the outdoor fan remote. Spoke to the rental agent but never got an answer back. Tried to use the extra fan stores in the laundry room but it didn’t work either. Made a trip to the local Walmart and purchased our own. We had a great week as well as our dog.

Relaxing

A cute and relaxing place to stay. We enjoyed listening to music, playing games, and relaxing on the awesome back deck listening to the sounds of nature. The book collection was awesome, the lake was beautiful and our dog loved swimming! Such a great time.

Couple of things

The place was very nice, clean, stocked with plenty of kitchen items. The only problem was they said their was a patio heater (there was), but no propane tank. That was extremely disappointing as we wanted to use the patio but it was too cold. The other thing I wish that was mentioned is that to get there, you go through winding and steep hills. The driveway is also very very steep. Driving in at night and with rain made this very scaring. It would have helped to know this on the front end.Thank you!

Wonderful cabin with a fantastic view

This cabin was perfect for the three of us. It had a wonderful back deck with a beautiful view. Lots of seating, grill, heater, etc. Inside was equally comfortable, lots of seating, comfortable beds, stocked kitchen, plenty of linens.

Absolutely Perfect

Online listing is 100% accurate! My family enjoyed the property to its fullest. Zero issues checking in. The kitchen had everything we needed for the week. Beds were comfortable. The most enjoyable parts, the deck out back and obviously the lake! Even the neighbors were friendly. I highly recommend this property!

Perfect place to totally unwind and chill.

We really wanted a quiet place to relax. It was exactly what we needed, yet it was easy to get to Heber Springs and surrounding towns. We had our dog with us and the fenced in back yard was great for him too. I'd go back in a heartbeat.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My husband and I stayed midweek with our two border collies, who absolutely loved swimming here. If you have a strong anchor and multiple anchor points, I’m sure you could anchor your boat overnight off the rocky shore. We opted to keep ours in our dam sit slip. The home had everything we needed to grill up steaks and relax on the back porch in the evenings. The fenced in yard meant we didn’t have to fuss over keeping the dogs nearby. Very clean. Great bathroom set up to accommodate two couples or a family.

Trip to Arkansas to visit family

Loved this home, its an easy stroll down to the lake front and we cant say enough about the outdoor living space!! It was wonderful for us and also welcomed our 2 labs would loved the water and porch. Its name fits the property well!! Would definitely stay here again!!! Thank you!!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved our stay at Chateau-Relax-O. This host has thought of everything, making it easy to just go, relax and enjoy. The entire cozy home is equipped for having a comfortable stay with your dogs, as well. If you forgot something, it's probably there and ready for you. We had fun teaching ours to use the doggy door, but it's easy to close up if you prefer. The fenced in yard gives peace of mind when your pup goes out and adds to the relaxation factor. Despite the dog friendly hospitality, this home was super clean with thoughtful, artistic touches everywhere. Those without pets will find it equally charming! Highly recommend!

Great place

This was a cozy little house. We traveled with our pups, and they loved it as well. The back yard is fenced, so the pups were able to enjoy the space. Great location! We took a walk down to the lake and let the dogs explore with us. Great place to take your family. The host was great, she was easy to communicate with and was very friendly. The place was clean and ready for us to enjoy!

Chateau Relax-O!!!

Great location and super close to Greers Ferry lake! If you want to relax and have fun, book it now! We stayed a week and wanted more! There are houses on either side of this property, but we did not see anyone! The property manager, Michelle, made sure our stay was memorable and very responsive to our needs! Thanks Michelle!!! And if you don't want to cook suppa, there are restaurants in and around Heber Springs that will blow your mind! Especially when you consider the population is less than 7,000! The property is super dog friendly, and if your man's best friend likes to swim, book it!

Relaxing at the Chateau

We had the best time at the Chateau Relax-o. The house is a very short walk to the waters edge where our dogs were able to swim and we were able to beach our boat. The ramp access is a 2 minute drive from the property and the boat could be pulled up to the shore for loading and unloading. The kitchen is stocked with all the necessary utensils for cooking and the grill outside was perfect for cooking our steaks. Lots of patio furniture on the back deck for listening to the cicadas and socializing. If outdoor hang outs aren’t your thing, there are plenty of board games, books, and CDs to browse through. At one point, we all cozied up and watched a movie while waiting for the hottest part of the day to pass. The small details of the place were so fun.. the pet paintings hung on the wall and the small ”Easter egg” style paintings on the outlets and chairs were an adorable touch to such a cozy place. Such an inviting and peaceful spot. 10/10 would stay again!

Nice stay

We had an awesome stay here. The decor detail that was at this cabin was well thought out. I was impressed how dog friendly the cabin was with the decor & even towels for your dogs if you go to the lake. We have mot been able ro take a vacation because its hard to find placws that accept dogs. This place made us able to relax & enjoy vacation with our furbabies! I do recommend planning out meals in advance because it is a little bit of a drive to town. We alao noticed most of the restaurants close early in the evening. Now we know how to plan better for our next stay here. Thank you again for such a wonderful experience!
