Cozy Cedar cabin in the woods. Large front relaxing porch, warm wood cathedral ceilings with a loft. Rustic décor. One Queen and one full size bed. We provide linens and towels. Full working kitchen, gas grill. Internet, enclosed parking. 3.5 miles from the I-77 and 2.5 miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway. 20 mins from the Blue Ridge Music center. Close to Crooked Creek wildlife management area, Hillsville, Galax and Mount Airy.

This is our third stay and we will be back again. The cabin is so cozy. We walked in and the fire place was going and little xmas trees on both sides. Kitchen has lots of extras pots and pans, and spices. Also, flavors to add to coffee. Cabin is very clean and neat. Watch your head with the spiraling stair case going upstairs. Home owner is wonderful and easy to work with .

The cabin was very nice and cozy. The only thing you have to bring is your clothes and personal items. Everything else was furnished. The host was prompt in answering our questions The only suggestion would be is the location of the cabin. As soon as you turn onto Joy Ranch Rd., it's the 1st lot to the right on the corner.

This was our second stay here and again it was fabulous. The kitchen is fully equipped and even has different flavoring for coffee. Bed is comfortable and everything was very clean. It was just what we needed for a weekend getaway to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary!

My sister and I go on mini vacations once a month and this is one of the nicest cabins we have booked around the galax area! Did not have signal but the WiFi worked great!

Property was exactly as represented. Communication excellent. The cabin had everything we needed. I was looking for a quiet place to spend time with my mom and this was exactly it. I'd stay here again!

The property was even better than advertised. It had the feel of home: well appointed, warm and inviting. We were greeted every morning by a hummingbird, as we enjoyed coffee on the large front porch and in the late afternoon saw deer in the yard. Its proximity to the Blue Ridge Music offered opportunity to hear local artists perform traditional bluegrass and country music. Our time in the Rustic Cabin was one of the most relaxing and peaceful weeks we have enjoyed in years. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

This cabin is one of the most well appointed homes we have rented. Beautiful would be an understatement! We rented for our visit to the Galax Fiddlers Convention, but would be a great cabin in the woods to just get away for a few days. Surrounded by trees, very serene. Decorative Pond and firepit area was awesome. You'll be impressed by the decor!

Wonderful place. Loved the location for motorcycle rides had an area to place bikes out of rain. There was a great fire pit. Loved cooking and just hanging out on the larger porch during the rain storm.

Our stay was wonderful the special touches were amazing. The cabin was very clean and comfortable we were able to relax whether we were inside, on the front porch or sitting around the fire pit. Our stay unexpectedly had to be extended by one day and Michelle was so wonderful and was able to accommodate us. We would absolutely recommend staying at this cabin. Thank you Michelle for a wonderful few days at your cozy cabin in Fancy Gap.

Really nice, tastefully decorated cabin. We could tell that the owners put a lot of effort into making their cabin a great place to stay. Extra clean which we appreciated. Well-stocked kitchen. Great shower. Nice linens and towels. We loved the front porch and spent a lot of time on it. The only negative is there’s no central AC and the house got rather warm in the afternoons but the 2 portable AC units cooled the house by nighttime and we slept comfortably.

This was our second stay at the Rustic Cedar Cabin. This cabin is well appointed, clean and very comfortable. The host is very easy to work with and booking is a breeze. We will be back for future stays in Fancy Gap. It’s definitely a 5-Star accommodation.

Rustic Cabin

Only required lodging for 2 nights.Easy to locate. Hostess Michelle was very nice and helpful. We spent our one day in the area driving on the nearby Blue Ridge Parkway. Gorgeous! Had a great time and sat and chatted around a campfire in the evening. Clean, homey cabin. Good well water!Thank you Michelle!
