AMAZING HOUSE! Look no further!

Kara’s Deer Sanctuary was absolutely incredible for our family! The pictures didn’t do it justice—the interior felt so much bigger than expected, offering plenty of space for our friends and family to gather comfortably. The sparkling pool was a favorite with the kids, who laughed and splashed all day. We were enchanted by friendly deer that ate right out of our hands, creating magical memories. A warm soak in the hot tub soothed my back pain wonderfully. We loved the nearby parks and cruising around the property in the golf cart. Thank you, Kara, for responding to our questions instantly, ensuring a seamless, delightful stay. We’d return in a heartbeat!

Best VRBO Ever!!!

This place has everything you could possibly hope for in a vacation stay! The inside of the home has plenty of space to sit and visit on the comfortable couch or around the dining room table. The beds were as well.

Amazing house

This house had it all! It was spotless and had lots of room for all of us. The outdoor space and pool was perfect. The house also had everything I needed to feel at home. The host was super responsive and helpful. I will be renting this property again

Girlfriend Get-together

Our stay was fantastic! There was plenty of space for all 8 of us! The highlights of the home included the pool, open concept kitchen, living and dining room, but most of all, being able to hand-feed the numerous deer that graced the property! Not to mention the access to the private lake access that was very near the home. I can’t say enough about how much we loved the home!

Beyond awesome

We have stayed in 4 other similar properties in this area when visiting family. BY FAR this one made the biggest impression. Grandchildren loved having the upstairs bed room with room for them all. The kitchen has lots of counter space for multiple cooks and buffet set up. The sectional is a great gathering and snuggling spot. The master suite is luxurious and separate The best for last - The pool is great for beginning swimmers and lounging The gazebo gives view of the pool on one side , the hot tub on another and the deer on another Golf cart to the park for glorious viewing of the eclipse!!! Everyone loved hand feeding the deer everyone said “We want this house next year!!?”

Nice house

The house is set up nicely so everyone had their own space. The kitchen had every item needed, the beds were comfortable and it was great to have 3 bathrooms. The backyard is fantastic with the pool, hot tub, eating and sitting area, firepit and daily visits from deer. Kara was easy to contact and resolved a small issue quickly. The neighborhood is very quiet but is a bit far from some things and there are lots of hills. Thank you Kara for allowing us to stay in your home!

Amazing Home

We loved our stay in this beautiful, very clean home. After visiting the surrounding busy cities during the day, it was so nice to come back in the evenings to such a peaceful and relaxing setting. We enjoyed seeing the deer right outside the back yard. The home had everything we needed and I would highly recommend it. Host was awesome to work with.

Beautiful

We enjoyed this home more than we can say!!! The home is beautiful. The beds were comfortable! We swam everyday! Used the kitchen! We had an issue with the oven not working our first night and the host sent someone over to fix it. Immediately responding to us. We drove the golf cart to the clubhouse for dinner! but… my favorite ABSOLUTE FAVORITE, thing about this house was the deer!!! at one point, I had 20+ deer running to me to be fed! They made my whole weekend!!!

Thoroughly enjoyed this Lago Vista retreat and all of its amenities. House was beautifully maintained and had all the essentials for an great weekend with friends! Outdoor pool area was perfect for relaxing while the use of the golf cart made trips to the river quick and eady. Overall great experience!

Fun stay for a long weekend!

Nice house, comfortably furnished and well stocked with EVERYTHING, including all paper products, pool towels, extra kitchen linens, extra blankets, coffee pods, lots more! Even deer corn for the deer feeding station, which was really fun. Also nice extras like pellet smoker, crock pot, and and lots more. Even though Lake Travis water level was too low, we didnt even care - had so much fun in pool and in the comfy lanai right by it. Extra bonus: there were northern cardinals everywhere and a pair of black-crested titmice nesting on the porch - super fun to see and hear.

Great place!

I would definitely stay here again! The house is as nice as it looks in the pictures. It was modern, not dated at all. We felt completely comfortable with our stay. The lake is only a short walk from the house. The property has a great location. The pool is located in a way that gives you privacy from the neighbors. The host were great. They even gave us a heads up of the bad weather that was approaching. I highly recommend staying here.

We are so excited to share our home with you. It is a modern 2700 sq foot home with all the fun you would need for a vacation getaway! Enjoy the pool, hot tub, fire pit, golf cart and inside fun! We have deer that come everyday, even in the fall, to be fed and watched with awe. Some are skiddish but some might eat from your hand! It is very special and we thought we should share this special vacation home with others.
