The place was really up there in a canyon , bye you're self , the only thing I would say is the road, really scary if you don't have 4x4. I wouldn't mind staying a week up there. Really relaxing, and listening to the blue jays was neat

Family time in tahachapi

Place is way up in the hills. It was an experience we will never forget from all the birds and deer we saw to the sweeping views descending the hill.

Beautiful Home!

Just what we were looking for, somewhere secluded and private. Home was nice and spacious for my family. Host was very responsive and directions were straight forward. There was apple festival in town which was great! Will definitely recommend this home and will look forward to staying here again in the near future!

secluded mountain getaway

We really loved staying at this out of the way, up the hill, secluded mountain home. The biggest reason was the solitude, the birds in that little high gulch which were everywhere. and the peace and quiet. The beds were very good, the appliances worked fine except for the master shower which we could not get to work. But we used the other shower and it worked out. This is a very special place, which in May was full of life. I could imagine trying to get up there in a Feb snow storm and that might be a different experience.

Way Up There!

This place is way up the mountain! It is overall spacious, but only had six spots to sleep, while advertised for up to eight people. We think the old broccoli smell is coming from the wall heater in the living room, and we had to keep the laundry room door closed to help keep its horrible smell contained inside. We were asked to haul our trash down the mountain, but didn’t have space in our vehicle for it.

Mountain Retreat

Loved this home! We had a wonderful stay up in the mountains. The home was fantastic. Very spacious and great for a trip with friends.

If you want an amazing trip away from the city we are only and hour and a half from Downtown Los Angeles and up here at 6300 ft above sea level you will feel like you are days away from the city. You will be among amazing wild life and pine, fur and oak trees.
