Beautiful 2 Bedroom Duplex

This space has many beautiful extras to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. There is a large, wooden backyard on an acre lot with a dog run, back patio/balcony, lots of parking space, close to town, lakes, and events. The inside is equipped so you can cook, work, visit, and relax without having to bring your own supplies. Laundry facilities and cleaning supplies are located in the unit for those longer stays.

Felt like home

Very cozy and comfortable. I loved how quiet and restful the property was, yet easy to get to anywhere in town within 10-15 minutes. Would definitely recommend this property and would stay here again.

This place was very clean and nice for the short work trip that we were on. The location was close to everything but just far enough away to be pretty peaceful. Would stay here again.

Great stay for the weekend.

We stayed here while visiting our daughter at Marian university. The location was great and close to interstate access. Very clean unit and very pet friendly with many amenities for our small dogs. Very nicely decorated too and a beautiful yard.

weekend getaway

The house was very clean and quiet and is nicely decorated and beds are comfortable. We liked that it was out of town a little bit ,with a nice country setting. We will be back if it's still available next year.

Would have been 5 stars however this duplex has a rather steep narrow stairway (6 steps) to enter which was very difficult for my disabled husband to climb. Pictures did not show this so that was really the only disappointment. That being said if you can do stairs well this place was very clean and close to everything the town offered. Would recommend for those without disabilities.

We were there for the WI state womens Bowling tournament and the house was prefect for the 4 of us!!! So clean and it had everything we needed, even a very sweet Good Luck balloon and treats.

Nice space!

We enjoyed the rental! I was able to easily prepare food items that I brought to Thanksgiving dinner with extended family. The water pressure in the kitchen and shower were fantastic! Our location was really close to my husband’s sister’s house. It’s only a short drive into town. I would say it sleeps 4. Great stay overall!

Perfect!

Very modernly appointed duplex. Great to put my feet up in the recliner with my dog at my feet after bring outdoors in the sun all day. Ceiling fans were great to have. Loved the little balcony and so did the doggo.

Stress free get away

The ease of our stay, was the best. It was a home away from home. Getting in the house was easy with a quick message from the host with the code. A generous check out time too. 11 a.m. House rules were " enjoy and relax". Can't get better than that. We felt trusted and relaxed. The yard for the dogs, was clean and big ! Nice modern amenities as well. Impressed

When we first arrived, we sat on the balcony, put our feet up, cocktail in hand, listened to the beautiful sounds of nature, and felt the warm sun on our faces. We bopped around to events and were not at the property much during our one-night stay but had time to get a game of chess in. The teen & tween enjoyed the snacks! It was very cute, comfortable and cozy! Host was very communicative & welcoming. Would stay again!

Super clean and so well-stocked. Felt homey and cozy and exactly how you want a short term rental to be. Thanks to these wonderful hosts for setting up such a great little apartment/duplex! All the kitchen utensils and tools we needed, games, tons of towels, plus way more little details and thoughtful touches. Only one slight negative: just be careful and go slow on the stairs inside — they feel a bit narrow and my husband slipped going down them with his huge feet and fell kinda hard.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

This beautiful duplex was built by my husband's father when he was a very young child. He lived in it with his family of 8 until they moved to the West Bend area. The house was kept in the family as rental units until the summer of 2022 when my husband took on the responsibility of completely remodeling it in order to create one side for long-term renters and the other side for shorter reservations. It is well-taken care of and guests have commented on its uniqueness, the proximity of its location to Oshkosh and the Air Show, Lake Michigan and Lake Winnebago, among other areas such as Sheboygan, West Bend, and Milwaukee, depending on the need. Together we have given new life to an older home that has been accommodating others as they travel and come home to visit for the past several years. Although it is located on State Highway 175, for some reason, the large area and wooded backyard give it a feeling of peacefulness, privacy, and hominess without being too far away from shopping and restaurants and the activities of life. We hope you enjoy it as much as my husband had during his childhood years and as much as we both do now as we travel back into town to visit our own families.

The home is located on a one acre piece of land that has a beautiful wooden area in the backyard and an old Highway in the front yard. This combination makes it feel peaceful and private with the added benefits of being close to town.
