Outdoor dining, firepit, salt water pool, tree house all on over an acre. only 1 visible neighbor, otherwise completely private. This is a perfect Casita with full size kitchen, basics provided, full size living room and a private bedroom with spacious closet and beautiful views. Full size washer and dryer available in storage, extra space provided if needed for bikes or surf boards. The beautiful views can be appreciated while eating outdoors, swimming or in front of the firepit.

Extra amenities can be provided such as a smores kit, wine, stocked refrigerator, fresh fruit, private parties, or wedding/baby showers. This is the perfect setting as it is beautiful yet private.

We had a great stay here. The property was beautiful, clean and quiet. We slept comfortably each night, enjoyed using the kitchen for breakfast and dinner when we weren’t out, and it was a perfect homebase as we explored San Diego. Our host Chris recommended the trolley tour and we really enjoyed it. We played battleship, which was one of many games they kept available. We would stay here again if we find ourselves in the area.

We had a great time. The guest house was amazing and had a great view. The location was also good and close to shopping, dining, and events. We came for the Alabama Shakes concert. Everything was awesome. The property manager responded to my questions fast. We just wish we had a heads up there was going to be a group of young men having a rather loud pool party. But! It wasnt long and seemed harmless. We would definitely stay again and enjoy the beautiful area. We loved it! Beautiful home! We made sure to keep it immaculate.

We stayed here to move our daughter into SDSU. It was close to campus and was perfect for our needs. Timing didn't allow us to enjoy the pool, but it definitely looks nice! The hosts were great to deal with! There was a small plumbing issue with the dishwasher that we contacted the host about and they were over a few hours later to assess the situation and collectively we came up with a game plan for a work around. 10/10 would recommend and would stay there again!

The spacious guest house is in a private, quiet area. The grounds are beautiful. Check-in was easy. Dog-friendly. The hosts were gracious. I enjoyed my stay in this lovely spot very much.

Wonderful and Quiet

The property is nice and secluded, we had our dog with us who loved the property. The unit was a great size with a wonderful patio area to enjoy the San Diego weather. We will definitely book the property again.

I could not asked for a better place to stay, this place definitely exceeded all my expectations. San Diego adjacent the host were great, very friendly and communication was great. Will stay here again on my next trip if they will have me.

Close To SD With Beautiful Views

The rental was the perfect location for our family of 4. It is close to San Diego, the neighborhood was quiet, and the views were amazing! The house was equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The only thing I would suggest is maybe a few more spatulas for cooking, and dusting the air vents in the living room. Overall, it was a good stay and I would recommend!

I will come again!

We spent the month of February in this rental. We were comfortable and there was a convenient place next to the house for the dog to go potty. It was beautiful and quiet there. There is a very narrow and steep driveway and difficult to maneuver with our big pick up. We are planning on returning next year. If there was a request, we wish the couch was two recliners instead so we could put our feet up.

What a gem!

I was born and raised in San Diego, so I know the value of this property. Convenient to so many things yet secluded and quiet. The host were amazing, and very helpful. I'm hesitant to say how happy I am about this property because I don't want others to be there the next time I want to stay! This will definitely be my go to property when staying in San Diego

Very beautiful and private casita in good location

Stayed with my family in this rental over Christmas and had a great time. The rental was decorated with fun holiday decor including a tree. The house is well stocked with everything we needed. The property is absolutely beautiful and feels very private and quiet, while being close to a main road that gets you to El Cajon, La Mesa, and the freeways in minutes. The yard is very spacious but it is shared with the main house. There are a couple dogs that live in the main house that are allowed to run unleashed in the yard, just as a heads up in case you are travelling with pets or small children (they are small and good dogs but just took us by surprise). The host is very kind and gracious. We had an incident with our dog getting sick while we were travelling and the host was very understanding and communicative regarding our repayment for damages. Overall it was a good experience.

The house was super old and had that moldy house smell pretty bad. Lots of cob webbs and spiders. Floors and rugs where quite dirty. Nice quite neighbor hood. Access to the house was difficult if you have a large truck. Tight turns and steep hills. The pool was lovely but is not heated and is right outside the hosts back door..

We loved the property and where the guest house was located. Everything we needed was there. Nice and friendly property owners plus loved the 2 dogs. When we go back to El Cajon we hope this property is available.

Gorgeous, friendly, welcoming!

Beautiful inside and out. Hosts were welcoming and accomodating. Gave us great suggestions for sightseeing, like the old town trolley and coronado dog beach. We had everything we needed there for our 3 night stay

Perfect accommodation for SDSU activities

Stayed here for son’s orientation to SDSU. It had everything we needed and more. We didn’t even use the pool! The only draw back (but out of owners control) was the tricky pulling out from driveway onto the main road. Owner was responsive and fast. I’ll be staying here again over the next 6 years when I visit my son!

Amazing

Our family enjoyed staying here. It had everything we needed. It was very comfortable, clean, and smelled great. My boys wanted to swim here more than any other of the activities in San Diego. The views were great and the outside patio with table was enjoyable to eat outside.
