This is a lovely home in a quiet neighborhood. Our host, Petra, was very responsive and welcoming. The house was well stocked. We especially enjoyed the fireplace! We would recommend it and hope to stay there again sometime.

This home is in a safe and quiet neighborhood. We appreciated all the "extras" from the host, including a well stocked kitchen, toiletries, cleaning supplies, and so much more. The fireplace in the living room was so nice! Our host was very communicative and flexible. A great stay!

This property truly felt like a home away from home, because of the guest-centered thoughtful touches in every room of the house.We were visiting our son at Macalester and liked that it was a walkable distance through pleasant neighborhoods. We also took advantage of Spyhouse Coffee for pastries (didn't need coffee as the house was well stocked); Due Focacceria for lunch; sushi at Sakana and we drove and picked up pizza at Punch on Summit.

Loved the house! Check in and check out we're both very easy! The kitchen had varieties of snacks and coffee, which was great when you get in late bc restaurants close unexpectedly early there.

So Charming!

We enjoyed a wonderful weekend at this mid-century rental. The host welcomed us warmly when we arrived a bit early and was flexible about our check-out which we really appreciated. Great teas and coffes:)

Everything you need and More

This property is exactly what we were looking for! We joined our friends for a short weekend stay and the house has everything and more. The owner stocked amazing coffee, snacks and waters for us. The sheets and bedding is so soft and comfortable and it was the perfect size for 4 of us. The location is great and a great neighborhood for walking as well. Perfect in every-way and will definitely stay here again

A Perfect Home-Away-From-Home

Petra is an excellent, communicative host. The house is exactly as described on the website and is decorated with care and charm. A great deal of attention has gone into sustainability and environmental concerns (in household items and cleaning/bath products) and there are specific guidelines to follow to make sure these practices are maintained (very clearly described once you check in). You will feel safe and comfortable (great beds!) in this house that is really a home.

Great Stay

Enjoyed our stay. Perfect location many places to eat and shop within walking distance. Neighborhood was safe and quiet. Plenty of spices and pantry staples to prepare some meals. House was very clean. We would certainly stay again.

A home away from home

This home is comfortable, very clean, beautiful artwork in every room. Kitchen utensils, linens, towels, etc. are very good quality and in perfect condition. The laundry area is clean and the washer and dryer are in very good condition. The host has provided a variety of eco friendly soaps and I've found some new favorites. The host responded very quickly when contacted about a minor issue. The neighborhood is quiet and feels very safe. It everything you want when you need a home away from home.

Excellent Stay in St. Paul

We had a lovely time at this property. Petra was great communicating with us before arrival and super helpful. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was clean and well outfitted, and the gazebo in the backyard was a great place to hang out and chat in the evening. Highly recommend!

Beautiful home.

This home is a five star all the way. It is a clean, well kept home with everything you need right at your fingertips. Kitchen is very well stocked with dishes, utensils and pots and pans. All are high quality items. Linens on the beds and bathroom towels are in perfect condition. And there are a variety of blankets and comforters available depending on your preferences. The artwork throughout the home is not to be missed. It's beautiful! The weather was not conducive to outside activities while we were there but the yard is spacious and there is a patio with a table and chairs and a lovely screened in gazebo. The neighborhood is quiet and pleasant. This is truly a very comfortable and enjoyable place to stay.

Best VRBO experience ever

The house is clean, comfortable, and very well-appointed. The host has thoughtfully considered everything you could want or need in a VRBO. The beds are comfortable, the window coverings are great (blinds and black out curtains), the linens are in excellent condition, the kitchen is well-stocked, and there are great back-up supplies on hand. We will definitely be renting here again when we return for another visit with friends who live in the area.

Cozy home in quiet neighborhood

This is my second extended stay with Petra’s house. This rental is perfect for a family visiting a college student, or just for a nice homey place away from home. It can be hard to find the right VRBO but this one ticks all the boxes for me - cozy house, clean, eco friendly, great communication from the owner, walkable to many neighborhood cafes, restaurants, etc. I do not think it will disappoint in any way. The pictures truly represent the home!

Lovely neighborhood home on quiet street…

My daughter recently had surgery and we needed an extended stay in a location near to her medical clinic and also her university. This home was just about as close to feeling like my own home as I could imagine!! Beautiful neighborhood with many choices of cafes, restaurants to walk to. The house itself is super clean, well organized, fully stocked with pantry basics, pots/pans, kitchen utensils, and everything you would need for cooking. Petra supplies cleaners, laundry detergent, etc that are all eco friendly. But most importantly, Petra is an excellent host and quickly responds to messsges. She was so incredibly thoughtful in terms of my daughter’s recovery and even changed out the shower head to a handheld! If you are looking for a comfortable, homey place to stay this is it. I would highly recommend!!

Lovely home/good location

My son, daughter-in-law, and 3 grandchildren (5, 4, 1) stayed at the home. It was very clean with a lovely garden and screened gazebo in the backyard. Petra, our host, worked hard to provide the family with what it needed -- a pack-and-play and high chair for their one-year-old. One drawback for them was that they were there during a heat wave, and the third bedroom is not air conditioned. It proved to be too hot and sun-lit for young children going to bed before 8.

Pleasant stay

Such a beautiful house with all the things you can need. The hostess is wonderful and very good at communicating. Loved the bath products provided. The kitchen was fully stocked and the bedrooms had there own AC units. I would recommend for a nice weekend away.

I really liked the opportunity to have a home that is convenient to both downtowns. The home was built in 1949 and has beautiful brickwork and lends itself to a Mid-Century Modern vibe which I love! I tried to find MCM furniture where I could.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

I am very health conscious and so have tried to make this home as eco-friendly as I possible. The floors were redone in water-based poly. The paints were zero or low VOC. The mattresses are natural with no chemicals. The towels are organic cotton. I had the dirty electricity mitigated and there is an option to turn off the WiFi and use ethernet cables to access the internet. I use non-toxic cleaners and the soaps and washing machine powders are eco-friendly as well. If there is anything else you need please let me know!
