Welcome to our slice of country within the Chattanooga Valley. This modern farmhouse is brand new and is centrally located. Located 3 miles from Camp Jordan and 12 miles from Downtown Chattanooga. This 4 bed/3 bath home boasts a functional layout perfect for family and friends and will comfortably sleep 8 guests. Home resides on a gorgeous 1.5 acre property with outdoor amenities: grill, four porch rocking chairs and patio seating are available for you to relax and take in the country sounds.

This house is amazing, and if you are staying in the Chattanooga area, it is close to everything. The beds were perfect, and the setting was extremely peaceful and inviting. It was perfectly appointed and delightful in every way.

Large open floor plan with lots of areas for everyone to relax or for everyone to meet up in the living room/kitchen area. Bedrooms are large enough for all the extra suitcases.

The Country Gem — A True Standout

The Country Gem* is the perfect name for this peaceful, well-appointed home. Tucked off a shared concrete drive with its own circular driveway, it sits on 2 private acres—no neighbors in sight from the back porch. Shaded parking is a bonus in the afternoon sun. I initially worried about securing our Yakima trailer and bikes, but after 8 days, I realized it was unnecessary. The nearby neighbor also keeps trailers outside with no issues—clearly a safe spot.Inside, the home impressed us even more. First: the coffee. My wife, a serious coffee drinker, was delighted by the variety of teas and flavored coffees—best selection she’s seen. Our group (grandparents, kids, and grandkids ages 22 months to 9 years) had plenty of space. The four bedrooms were roomy, and the large kitchen and living areas had generous seating. The kitchen was well-stocked and had everything we needed.The location is great—minutes to Costco, Food City, and I-75. Traffic into Chattanooga on I-75 North can back up in the afternoon, but alternate routes are close by.Fun touch: a big Jersey cow painting in the living room. No matter where you stand, the cow "follows you."I left a few suggestions for the owner, Kerry, who was gracious and receptive. All in all, a wonderful stay. In keeping with the bovine theme, I give this home a "Grand Champion" rating!
If you look closely, the Jersey cow is looking at me! ;>)
The 240 plug on the left side of the garage made our son happy!

Great experience with Clean, plenty of space, loads of towels and bedding! Host was quick to respond to my questions and super friendly. Nice quiet neighborhood with adorable backyard! Mattresses were new! One room even had bed that adjusts positions. Plenty of room for our family of 4 couples and 2 little ones! Kitchen had everything we needed. Huge fridge with great tasting filtered water. Conveniently located to everything! Rock city was amazing. Highly recommend it-purchase tickets day before for big savings. Thank you so much Kerry and Ryan! We’ll be back!!

Relaxing place to unwind

Overall, a great place to unwind for a weekend getaway. Visited ruby falls and stayed here for a family birthday. It was clean, organized, and relaxing. The property manager was also very accommodating with minor issues with the lock. I would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful home to enjoy with family!

The property is beautiful and well appointed to allow a family that wants to spend quality time together.All of the beds and mattresses were so comfortable and I’m a bed freak! Country Gem

Country Gem is truly a country gem. We've stayed at numerous VRBO properties and Country Gem is the best property with the best owners. The house is very new, very modern and extremely pretty. The high ceilings give a feeling of spaciousness as well as the open space layout. Beds, furniture, kitchen utensils are all in great condition. Housekeeping did an excellent job preparing the house.The owners were the best to work with. They are very responsive, accommodative and transparent. We truly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend Country Gem for anyone staying in the Northern Ga./Chattanooga area.

Great Stay in Chattanooga Area

This place is great and as seen online. Owners were very responsive. Nicely decorated and furnished and we loved the fireplace for our December stay. Worked perfectly for our family with great bedrooms and open great room seating areas. Plenty of parking too.

Thanksgiving for family

The house has a perfect big spacious den with dining and kitchen. Perfect for conversation while cooking and eating. An upstairs that was perfect for couple with new baby. Big TVs in every room. Master suite was perfect for aging parents. Well stocked.

Family trip

The house was very spacious with lots of amenities. It was close to Chattanooga and easy to get to off the interstate. All rooms had king size beds. The beds were firmer than I would prefer but one did have a pillow top so it worked well. In the pictures, we saw a hot tub but it looks as if it was taken out. We were a little disappointed about that. I messaged the owner the day before asking about the hot tub but didn’t receive a response. She may not have received the message and didn’t try again. Overall it was a great place to stay.

Wonderful home noisy neighbor hood

Home was very comfortable. We enjoyed our evening time there. During the day though the neighbors dog would bark constantly . It was very unsettling.

Beautiful house and very accommodating

The house was beautiful and had plenty of space for 2 families to come together and stay while in town. The hosts were quick to respond to our messages before, during, and after our stay. We highly recommend these hosts and their house to anyone looking for a large home to stay at.
