Beautiful year round waterfront home located on McGrath Pond accommodates up to 17 people. Air conditioned throughout, WIFI and Cable TV. Main level has open floor plan, family, dining area, bathroom, mudroom and fully equipped kitchen, elevated deck. Upstairs has master bedroom and bath, second bedroom with ensuite, third and fourth bedrooms with a shared full bath. Downstairs in-law suite has a bunk room, with 7 beds, large family room, and kitchenette with private entrance and patio. Washer and dryer located on main level. Front entry has covered porch and elevated deck overlooking the lake.

Great family getaway

House was beautiful and was great for accommodating a group of people. The lake is beautiful and plenty of things to do on the lake. We would definitely stay here again

Great accommodation and location

We chose this lakeside house over others in similar locations because unlike most it had enough bathrooms for the number of beds, and room to spread out. The other amenities were great too. It was a wonderful stay!

A week on the lake

Beautiful house on a beautiful lake. Perfect spot for little ones to swim and enjoy all of the other water activities. Great spot for a week long family reunion

Great Maine Lake House

New and well equipped - great spot on a beautiful Maine lake. Plenty of boating options and the AC came in handy during a heat wave. Plenty of space.

Great location

David’s place is situated on fa lovely cove on McGrath Pond. The property is quite nice, even in cold weather. Our group enjoyed ice skating and the outdoor fire. There was plenty of space for our four families.

Beautiful home!

My family and friends most definitely enjoyed our stay! Beautiful spacious home, fully equipped with everything we needed. Unfortunately during our stay, it was about 56-57 degrees cloudy so we couldn’t enjoy the water as much as we wanted to - definitely will come again during the hot summer days!

A Great Place on a Great Lake!

We had a wonderful time at this VRBO home. The setting was beautiful, which was matched by the home. The house was well-stocked. The view was spectacular and there was lots to do, both at the home and in the area. It was perfect for our seven-person group, with four bathrooms and sufficient sleeping areas. I highly recommend.

Hidden Gem

House was clean, quiet, and spacious. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for a larger group. Private waterfront access with water toys (canoes, paddleboards, etc) available. Nice large fire pit. Games and TVs for indoor activities. Both owner and property manager were easily accessible and responsive.

Perfect Lake House

This is the second stay for our familyof 6 adults,4 children and our dogs. The house is a perfect size and the best maintained of any we have rented in many years of vacationing. Plenty of room for everyone and lake toys to keep us all busy. A private setting but not far from grocery stores etc. A day trip away from many of Maine's popular spots. The pond is clean and does connect to a larger lake. Swimming, fishing and kayaking , A perfect vacation spot.

Wonderful property!

We can't recommend this place enough! The house is FULLY equipped with everything you need to start vacationing as soon as you arrive. Great dock, fire pit, and large deck. Tons of fun outside toys for water play, just bring yourselves. :) More than enough room for evereyone inside with three levels of living space. Whatever you are looking for out of your vacation, you will find it here. We already booked our next stay.

Brand new house on a lake

It's hard to find a house in Maine on a lake that can accommodate a large group where everyone has enough space. This is one of those. The owners were very responsive to some minor issues that came up. House is on a perfect size lake.

Family Vacation

We were a large group of 15. 6 adults and 9 kids. The house had the perfect set up for us. The house was exactly has described online. We loved the location and loved the lake! The water toys were an added bonus, the lake was calm, the neighbors were nice. We did run into a few issues with the house, I would say the normal ‘’joys’ of homeownership and Dave was always reachable and did he best to make it right. We wouldn’t hesitate to come back!

Reunion of long time friends

what a perfect place for this reunion. We are a group of 10 friends and couples that get together every 4-5 years. with our kids grown, we now connect outside of the summer season. This is a perfect location and great house for a get together. We had a fantastic week and everything about the location and the house was perfect. The weather was unpredictable as fall can be - and the pond was amazing for adventures and activities. The fire pit was used pretty much every night, having a great stack of wood was a bonus.

Great Lake House

The house and property were exactly as listed. Plenty of room for kids and adults to enjoy their own space. We've been renting as a family for several years and this was the best house we have stayed at. Well equipped inside and water toys for the pond to keep us busy. David was quick to answer our questions and seemed to care that we had a good vacation at his house. We had such beautiful weather that we pretty much stayed put. Freeport was 1 hour away, stores etc were about20 min. visit Bacon Farm for maple ice cream and everything maple.Some nice antique shops too. Already booked for next year.

Amazing vacation. Perfect property

Our 3 families found the perfect place for a great vacation. The house and property fit our needs perfectly. The adults all had a comfortable bedroom with our own bathrooms. The kids enjoyed the bottom floor. The middle floor was perfect for cooking eating with our feeling too crowded with 11 people. The house was clean and well equipped. The lake was perfect and the available water craft made it a treat to explore. The kids enjoyed a short swim to the inflatable slide. The fire pit area was great for s’mores and to a place the smokers for a long cook. The deck was a perfect spot to gather and enjoy beautiful views of the lake. The owner was amazing to work with. It was a wonderful place to spend the week. This is a place you want to come back to year after year. The kids and parents all had an amazing time. We Highly recommend this property.

The property was originally purchased in 1970 by our parents and now owned by the 2 brothers, Dan and Dave McAllister. The original property was a seasonal cottage, later improved to full 2 br/1 bath camp in 1979, and in 2020 we started construction of the new home which has 5 bedrooms 4.5 bath home on on a large parcel of land located in Oakland Maine.
