Los colibríes y los pinzones zigzaguean frente a usted mientras se relaja en una de las cubiertas de las casas o en el jardín delantero con una taza de té / café por la mañana o su vino y queso al atardecer. Siempre es un momento maravilloso para relajarse y ponerse al día con sus seres queridos, amigos y familiares en el retiro.

La espaciosa casa de diseño de tres pisos con amplios asientos cómodos garantiza lugares de reunión relajantes en cada área de la casa.

Este retiro es ideal si son una pareja y les encantaría escapar y disfrutar el uno del otro y la naturaleza. Una familia que quiere relajarse y disfrutar el uno del otro, algunas parejas que quieren disfrutar de un tiempo juntos, relajarse y tener medios grupales y, sobre todo, para una escapada de chicas. Nuestras revisiones más apreciativas cubren todas estas escapadas. No hay tiempo en el que están en el retiro y sin estrés, solo el uno al otro y una gran conversación. Bañera de hidromasaje en la cubierta inferior. La bañera de hidromasaje es más pequeña y muy cómoda con cuatro personas, y acogedora con la casa completa de seis. Respete el tiempo de silencio después de las 10 p.m. (sin chorros de hidromasaje, voces fuertes o música alta)

La cocina gourmet permite disfrutar de comidas festivas agradables con vistas, música y listas para la risa. Cocina completamente equipada con electrodomésticos de acero inoxidable, fácil de servir y cenar, además de una limpieza fácil. Juegos completos de vajilla, piezas para servir y cristalería para garantizar que cada comida sea una celebración.

La suite principal en su propio nivel tiene grandes paredes llenas de ventanas para garantizar que disfrute de la vista. Beautiful home in a lovely location

We had an excellent time at this beautiful home in El Granada. It's hard to beat sitting in the hot tub under the moonlight, looking over the eucalyptus to the ocean beyond, while listening to a great horned owl play call-and-response with the foghorn in the distance. The house also had an excellent kitchen, and I'd highly recommend the Hop Dogma Brewery in town.

Thanksgiving in Half Moon Bay

Amazing house with plenty of room for our family. Comfortable spaces with a well-stocked kitchen with everything we needed for our Thanksgiving dinner. We loved walking to the beach, renting beach cruisers and enjoying nearby restaurants. Watching the sunset from the back patio (with views of the ocean) was beautiful. We grilled steaks and stayed warm with the gas fire. Thank you to our hosts. Highly recommend this house.

Wonderful Stay

What a beautiful home. Everything was pristine and delightful. The beds were comfy. The kitchen was stocked like a chef's kitchen. We enjoyed every minute in in this home. The attention to detail did not go unnoticed. We had one minor hiccup with the TV, but Annette was available by phone to help us out. Annette was a joy to work with. You won't go wrong if you choose this property.

Lack of privacy: owners staying in basement

Nowhere in the property description does it say that the owners are in the building. It made us uncomfortable for the whole stay (8 days). We would not have rented if we had known this. Otherwise, the house was impeccably clean. The kitchen was well equipped. We cooked all our meals there. It was just my husband and I.

We are sorry that you may have felt awkward. We wish you would have called us and we could have let you know a friend of mine was staying in the completely separate apartment with access only from the side entry for a few nights while she was in town for work. It is very common on the coast here to have an apartment and we do mention the fact we may be on property from time to time. We appreciate your comment and will ensure we let other visitors know if someone may be coming and going to or from the apartment during their stay. We are glad that you enjoyed the home.

Excellent hosts, magnificent location, beautiful property

Five stars to this property all the way! The house is beautiful and has absolutely everything to make it the perfect retreat. The kitchen is so comfortable and well stocked, that I absolutely recommend planning for some home meals (New Leaf supermarket is just down the road and has delicious organic and local produce). Annette is an excellent host, and she was very responsive to all our questions and comments. The view from pretty much everywhere in the house is majestic. We had a very lovely, relaxing weekend with our extended family, including two kids who enjoyed the multiple board games and the several movie options very much. My only comment is to avoid turning the jets on if you are enjoying the hot tub in the evening. We got in the tub on a Friday at 10:30, and the sound of the jets made us speak in slightly raised voices, which caused a very unpleasant exchange with the next door neighbor. I also recommend to lower the privacy screen when you enter the hot tub (it will put an additional barrier to avoid bothering the neighbors and interacting with them). I would absolutely recommend this place for a family retreat, and I can't wait to be back myself!

We have certainly created the home in such a way to take advantage of the scenery and seating to be comfortable. It is easy to forget that we do have neighbors in such a wonderful view. Unfortunately with the incredible weather we are having - we are all sleeping with windows open and it is unfortunate that sound carries so much. Thank you for letting us know the issue with the sound and thanks for recommending the privacy screen.

Newly renovated terrific property

Newly renovated terrific home with lots of amenities in a good location. We enjoyed our stay and the back deck and hot tub. The no-shoes in the house rule, and the get pre-approval to have guests stop by, was something we had not come across before in multiple VRBO stays.

Great house near Half Moon Bay

Lovely, well-appointed house. Plenty of room for four adults plus. This house is not located on the beach, but is a quick drive and easy parking once you get there. Separated sleeping areas on different floors allowed for privacy. A separate office on the lower level was very helpful for working remotely if necessary. Well-equipped, modern kitchen. Easy drive to great restaurants both in and outside of Half Moon Bay. The owners were extremely communicative and very helpful with our questions.

Beautiful, well equipped home in gorgeous location!

We really enjoyed our stay at Tree Tops. Annette and Fred were super hosts, really responsive when we had questions about the area and helped to quickly remedy the few small things that were not quite right (e.g. missing grill tools). The kitchen was well equipped and we enjoyed walking on the nearby trails. Thanks Annette and Fred!

Beautiful Home

From arrival the landscape out front was beautiful. There is a no-shoes rule and they provided slippers for guest use. The master suite is definitely the star of the home, gorgeous tub and shower. The view from the deck was amazing. It was smaller than it appeared from the photos, only seating for 4 we had a group of 6. The downstairs bedrooms are small but comfortable. Would have preferred to know the second queen bed was actually a pull out couch/bed. Overall the space fit our needs and was beautiful.

Calming views of the woods

This house is beautiful. Three levels with calming views of a woodland area. We came for the Thanksgiving week and found the kitchen, and entire house, exceedingly well stocked with the little things travelers need. Three flashlights came in handy during a storm and power outage on the last night. I would highly recommend the property.

Magical house in HMB

My friends and I loved staying here for my bday. This is one the cleanest houses I’ve stayed at on Vrbo/Airbnb, not to mention beautiful and serene. Annette was great with communication, and happily accommodated my requests for alternative checkin/out times. The master bedroom is beautiful, with a comfortable king bed. The hot tub is a nice extra. FYI, if you plan on getting around with a lyft/uber know that it may take up to 20 mins to get one. I would highly recommend this house and would consider staying again!

Anniversary Trip to Paradise

Traveling from the flat lands of the Midwest to Half Moon Bay, California, could not have been filled with better surprises than we encountered on our trip. Days were busy exploring but it was such a pleasure to come back to suck a beautiful home. Clean, perfectly maintained, room home with fantastic views and amenities.

Spacious quiet home

Our stay at the Tree Top home was very enjoyable. It had all the amenities that one would need or want. The no shoes in the house policy is a major reason the house was so clean. The security check-in procedure was very smooth and easy. The fireplaces added warmth and ambiance.

Fred and Annette love entertaining and sharing their property The Coastal Tree Tops Retreat for your relaxation enjoyment. They have created a restful retreat in the hills above El Granada (Half Moon Bay) with ocean views. If you are ready to get away from it all - this is the place. All the amenities you may expect from a four or five star resort are here for you to enjoy.

We have recently added: all new and updated deck furniture and refreshed yard.

Whats not to love about this amazing offering? For the most discerning - all of our bedding is new within the last year and includes high end linens, luxurious towels and robes and cushiony rugs underfoot.

For those that may get a chill - we offer slippers, soft and sumptuous throw towels and warm and inviting gas fireplace in the living room and master bathroom.

Annette and Fred purchased this property more than 20 years ago when they decided to move out of the city of San Francisco and truly embrace living life on vacation.

This is a perfect relaxing home base for your Northern California, San Francisco, trip. The home is spacious and designed for entertaining. The retreat can comfortably can sleep six in three comfortable beds and three and a half bathrooms. Hot tub makes the relaxing even easier.

Placed up the hill from El Granada Surfers Beach (one mile) and Sams Chowder House (Restaurant and Bar) the weather is much sunnier, warmer and clearer than many locations in the Coastal area that are lower or closer to the ocean.

Location is often warmer than closer to the ocean. Average year round weather here in El Granada mid 60s to 70s during the day with strong sunshine most days. Evenings are cooler and may include stronger breeze, fog and at times drizzle.
