Welcome to our home in the safe, quiet Harbor Isle neighborhood of Mud Island! Come relax at this 3 bed, 2 bath single-story home just minutes from the heart of Memphis!

You will be just:
-A short walk to Mud Island Park and the Mississippi River
-10 minutes to downtown, Beale Street, FedExForum, or the major regional hospitals
-15 minutes to Graceland or the National Civil Rights Museum

We are also pleased to offer a dedicated workspace with a printer/scanner and a brand new GE washer/dryer!

Overall good experience. Shower water was cool and not warm and cleaning lady showed up before our checkout time. Clean place and would recommend.

The management Co. was responsive and very friendly. The home was clean and provided everything you would need. Location was excellent. However there was a leak in the master sink pipe and was being collected by a bowl under the sink cabinet. I was told it would be repaired after we were gone. And thot was ok The sink in the 2nd bath had a heavy and constant drip, annoying. The most disappointing was the porch light was not working and the entrance to the house was dark. A small step up could not be seen and I tripped approaching the front door. You could not see to access the lock to enter the house without a flashlight. Several of the ladies felt unsafe not knowing the area and a very dark entrance. The management said they would send maintenance but the outdoor light was never fixed. One of the cabinets in the Kitchen was being held to the wall with a small “L” shaped bracket which made a few of us nervous it may fall due to the heavy amount of dishes in the cabinet. The cleaning crew left sheets in the dryer, which was ok but the lint left in the dryer vent was built up so much we cleaned it out. It was obvious the lint trap had not been cleaned in a very very long time and could have resulted in a fire. Most of the senior group agreed we’d stay elsewhere on our next visit.

Great location

Quiet, pretty, safe neighborhood on mud island — perfect place for our son’s med school graduation- close to Memphis with a beautiful quiet neighborhood for a morning walk!

This was a great home for me and my friends. Stuart was extremely responsive. The location was perfect, the home was cozy and clean, I Highly recommended this place for your next stay.

Quiet and spacious

The property was quiet and spacious and fit our needs during our stay however, the property could use some love. Shower liners could be checked and replaced, minor repairs (back bathroom toilet and wall) but other than that great place to stay in Memphis.

Comfortable stay on Mud Island

We had a fantastic stay at this cozy home on Mud Island! The property offered three spacious bedrooms and a fantastic master bath with excellent shower pressure. The host truly thought of everything—dinner utensils, soap, dishwasher pods, shampoo/conditioner, cotton balls, and lotion—making our short stay in Memphis so convenient. The Smart TVs in the master and living room were a great touch, letting us catch the March Madness games while the kids enjoyed Netflix. The neighborhood was delightful, and we only wished we had more time to explore. The host was communicative and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. We’ll definitely return the next time we’re in Memphis. Thank you!

My sister is in a wheelchair and it was easy to maneuver in this house. The bedrooms were large with lots of closet space. Nice kitchen .

It was a very cozy house, plenty of spacious rooms and more than adequate for our stay! We ever go back to Memphis and we’ll be looking for the same house!

One night stay

The place was clean overall. We were contacted just before check in that they were having trouble with the cleaning crew and it had not been cleaned yet? We were suppose to check in at 4pm and didn't get to check in until around 8:30pm. They did give us $50 off and a late check out the next day for the trouble. Overall it was a nice location and served our purpose. It was clean when we entered.

Communication

Lack of communication from owner or manager. Tried for 2hrs to get access code for entry. Finally called vrbo. Waited while representative tried to contact owner. Then was transferred to supervisor who finally got ahold of owner. Owner didn't know if property was clean or not. He gave us a code and we went in it was cleaned. There were towels but no washcloths. Only one sink worked in main bath. Tv in living room didn't work. Otherwise it was a great location.

Mud Island Home Stay

While we appreciated the location of the Mud Island home, we felt that the home had some problems that should have been addressed before our stay. The toilet in the bathroom at the back of the home was not attached to the floor, so it rocked when you sat on it, and we were concerned about it leaking. One of the sinks in the bathroom at the front of the home did not have water coming from the faucet. One of the drapery rods in the dining area was falling down. The dishes from the previous renter were all in the dishwasher, not in the cupboards. There were no washcloths in the bathrooms, and the ice maker was leaving disgusting black bits of what appeared to be dirt or carbon in the ice. Our expectations for cleanliness and well-maintained facilities were not met. The home could definitely use some love.

Good not Great

Owner was great at communication. The house was lovely. There were a few issues. No trash bags in house and we werent told to bring any. There were a lot of gnats in the house. Not enough seating in living room. The lamps had usbs in them and none worked and livingbroom lamp didnt work. One of the sinks in master was shut off due to a hole in the basin and tge shower curtain liner was filthy. Tge property was nice but it needs a few small things.

Perfect spot

My husband and I were passing through on the way to take my daughter to University of Kentucky. We needed somewhere to stop with a garage so we didn’t have to unload everything. This house was perfect! Beautiful neighborhood, lovely location and very nice hostess. She was always quick to respond to any questions.

Teen Birthday trip was a hit!

We brought our Elvis fan granddaughter to Memphis for her birthday trip. The house was very comfortable and we had great SkipBo and Uno games at the table. The neighborhood is great, very quiet, and we could easily drive to the attractions. We saw Graceland, of course, and took a walk down Beale Street, walked along the Mississippi, visited the Memphis Zoo and the National Civil Rights Museum, and took a riverboat ride on the Mississippi on our last evening in town. So much appreciated the home away from home!

It was clean and lovely, but dark—heavy drapes, dim lighting, some burned out bulbs. A couple soap dispensers were empty and one lotion dispenser was clogged. We would have appreciated a box of tissues. Nothing major, just things that are part of everyday life. I especially appreciated how responsive the owner was and how easy check in was.
