HERMOSO AMPLIO, bien amueblado, vistas al mar con terrazas y patios. Esta inmaculada casa privada de 3 recamaras de 2100 pies cuadrados está en un vecindario tranquilo pero cerca de lo mejor de todo. Es como vivir en un club de campo: campo de golf público y centro recreativo comunitario a 2 minutos; y la gloriosa naturaleza está justo a su puerta: puertos deportivos, bosques, excursiones por las montañas, playas oceánicas, parques vírgenes ... Los servicios comerciales y el acceso al centro de Vancouver, Stanley Park, Whistler y BC Ferries están a solo unos minutos en coche.

Hemos sido anfitriones exitosos durante muchos años y nos enorgullecemos de ofrecerle una estancia muy agradable y que satisface sus expectativas.

Nuestra casa bien mantenida tiene 3 habitaciones decoradas con buen gusto y con camas muy cómodas. Hay una cama de matrimonio en el dormitorio principal del segundo piso con puertas francesas que se abren hacia el océano y las vistas a la montaña. El segundo dormitorio espacioso se encuentra en el piso principal y cuenta con una cama doble. El tercer dormitorio. El estudio de arriba tiene una cama de día muy cómoda con dos camas de colchón doble y ventanas increíbles con vista al mar y mtn sin obstáculos. Hay dos baños completos, uno en cada piso. Nuestra casa tiene capacidad para 5 personas muy cómodamente.

 Al ingresar a nuestra residencia con orientación suroeste, te reciben techos altos abovedados con vigas a la vista y pisos de madera. La sala de estar principal está decorada con sofás y sillas mullidos, incluida una gran otomana. Al salir de la sala de estar hay puertas francesas que se abren al jardín privado y al patio. El comedor tiene capacidad para 6 personas.
Nuestra casa también tiene cocina totalmente equipada y viene con inalámbrico de alta velocidad, televisión por cable y teléfono fijo. Amplio estacionamiento y servicio de autobús expreso del centro de Vancouver a tres minutos a pie.

This is an incredible home. Immaculately kept with everything you need for a stay. The local area is fantastic, as you are just steps away from Horseshoe Bay, and a short drive away from incredible hikes and bike trails. The hosts were incredibly responsive, welcoming, and the neighborhood was quiet and lovely. We would definitely stay again!

The Complete Package!

Perfect home for our family. We loved the open concept layout with two comfortable living areas, nice kitchen, and spacious bedrooms. The grounds were beautiful and the view at sunset was beyond words. Great location with easy access to Vancouver, Whistler, and many area attractions. Helena was an amazing host! Highly recommend!!

Wonderful place for small family gathering.

This home is cozy and comfy. The kitchen is well equipped. The owner's preparations for our stay enhanced our experience. We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood. The weather affected our choices of activities, but we were able to make daily excursions into Vancouver. We would definitely return to this home.

Beautiful Coastal Family Home

We absolutely loved spending our Christmas in this large characterful home overlooking Horseshoe Bay. It is light and spacious, full of charm with pretty garden vistas from every window. Simply stunning. The location allowed us to enjoy skiing at Cypress Mt and Whistler, trips into downtown Vancouver and a short ferry ride over to Bowen Island.

Great location for Vancouver trip

We recently had a pleasure staying at Helena's home situated in safe and coastal town of Horseshoe Bay during spring break. As we were new to Vancouver area, we wanted a location that was convenient to visit all local attractions including downtown, Whistler, Ferry terminal, suspension bridge, etc. Downtown and other local attractions are all within 20 min drive and Whistler is approx. hour and half drive which was very convenient, especially as we had rented a car from the airport. Also, Cypress mountain was 15 min away which we enjoyed skiing for few days including night skiing. We truly enjoyed our stay with all amenities the home offer including full kitchen, nice back yard (with ocean view and from 2nd FL), washer/dryers, etc. If you are looking for convenient location to venture out Vancouver, this property will be great option for families. Also, Ferry terminal with nice cafes and restaurants are within 10 min walking distance which was great for our families to unwind after long day tour or for morning coffee. We would definitely come back here if we have a chance to revisit Vancouver in future.

A slice of paradise!

We really loved the feel of this home. The pictures on the walls, the planters, and the way it was decorated made it for us. The kitchen was well set up and the beds were very comfortable. There were several outside areas to sit, eat, or just look at the views. We were so glad we didn't stay in Vancouver. When we did go down, we couldn't wait to get back "home". If we ever stayed again, we would spend more time getting to know the immediate area and using the ferry.

Gorgeous West Vancouver Home

This property was more beautiful than pictured! Incredible views from every window - amazing natural beauty - water, mountains or lush landscaping! Our family enjoyed the home - the kitchen was well equipped, beds were comfortable, many warm and inviting gathering areas inside and out and on-site laundry was convenient The location was perfect- we enjoyed exploring Horseshoe Bay, downtown Vancouver, Whistler, Grouse Mountain, Capilano suspension bridge, whale watching and Squamish. Our Host Helena was wonderful from reservation to check out! She also provided useful locale tips & restaurant recommendations. We truly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this this lovely property.

Perfect!!!

Three ladies in their 60s travel once a year - girl getaway. We cannot say enough about this beautiful property. We absolutely Loved every minute of our stay in horseshoe bay. Quiet, Safe - Beautiful neighborhood. Easy access by car or public transportation to all YVR has to offer. Note: If on foot or using public transportation - 8 blocks to/from the ferry building horseshoe bay. All uphill from the ferry building to the house. The last block to the house is very steep. The views from this property are fantastic with many different areas to view from. We love being outdoors and had great weather to enjoy several different garden , mountain and bay scenery . The inside is beautifully decorated. We loved the art and the beautiful flower arrangements. The interior lighting changes by the hour with the sun rise to the sunset with incredible vibrant colors via the many beautiful windows and doors. Spotlessly clean, comfortable beds and linens, welll stocked kitchen. Helena pays great attention to detail and is quick to respond to any questions or concerns. Absolutely perfect!! Thankyou

Superb!

From the moment we arrived at this home, we knew it was extra special. We were struck immediately by the warm, tranquil and relaxing ambiance. Roomy, cozy and comfy with lovely views, this home was a veritable gem. The host had thought of everything to make a stay here wonderful-well-equipped, we lacked for nothing. There were several balconies and outdoor spaces to enjoy as well as ample space indoors to have either privacy or to meet up with friends and family. A truly fabulous home with so many unique, interesting touches. We highly recommend this home away from home and would very much like to return in the future. Deborah

Fantastic home and location!

This home is in a great location for those wanting access to more than just Vancouver. It is perfectly situated so that it is not far from downtown Vancouver, Squamish, and even Whistler. Our family stayed here for a week and loved it! Not only did we enjoy the location for all of the fun activities nearby, the house met all of our needs as well. It had lots of space for our family. The lay out is great for having fun family time together while at the same time having places one can go off for some peace and quiet. The kitchen is well stocked for all of your cooking utensil needs. The outdoor sitting areas are great for enjoying the outside views. We couldn't have found a better place to stay. The owner was accessible at all times and very helpful and friendly. She was quick to respond to questions. This is a place our family would love to revisit!

Cozy stay in West Vancouver

Our family came up to visit friends in Vancouver over the American Thanksgiving holiday and chose this property based on the proximity to aforementioned friends and the reasonable price based on similar listings. It was cozy and suited our needs perfectly, especially being that Helena permitted us to bring our small dog. The home had a fenced yard which was wonderful for the dog and kids, as well as gorgeous views to be had from certain rooms. There was plenty of space for our family and the proximity to Horseshoe Bay and Squamish couldn’t be better. We did quite a bit of cooking in the home during our stay and fortunately the kitchen was relatively well stocked with spices and most basic items. (Although I was never able to find measuring cups and spoons so that would be my one suggestion) Helena was helpful and easy to work with and gave us a thorough tour upon initially arriving which we appreciated. Overall, we had a lovely experience staying at the home and look forward to returning during the summer when we can take full advantage of the beautiful and ample outdoor spaces that the home offers.

Fantastic Spot!!

Our family of 4 absolutely loved our stay here. It was comfortable, spacious and had a great view. It's a very quiet neighborhood which allows you to enjoy the FOUR different sitting areas outside the house. This house offers you the best of both worlds. It offers peace and quiet, but is just minutes from the hustle and bustle of Vancouver when you want to get busy. It was very central to all the places we visited like Capilano, Whistler, Stanley Park. Lots of great restaurants a very short drive away. The other very important factor is that the owner is an absolute delight. She is very helpful, accommodating and responds quickly to requests. It made the whole event very easy for us. Should we be going back to Vancouver again we won't bother looking for any other place as we would rent this house again.

Very enjoyable

We stayed for two weeks with my husband, two kids (10 and 6 years old) and my mother-in-law. The house was great! The beds were comfortable. The house was very well equiped. The area was very quite and we enjoyed sitting mostly outside enjoying the sunsets, the views, and all the different birds that flew in the garden, including several hummingbirds. The house was very airy and bright. Helene gave us a warm welcome and was very attentive to our needs. The house is in a good location close to the ferries and just a walk away from Horseshoe Bay and very easy to get to the highway to go to either Whistler or main part of Vancouver. Yet you are away from the hustle and bustle.

Great vacation rental for the whole family :)

We are a family of 4 who needed a rental while our home was undergoing renovations and we were lucky to have found this beautiful gem. We were very impressed with the gorgeous views from the property. The home is warm and very cozy with ample space for us all. I would recommend all who want a refreshing and peaceful stay to rent this home. Helena is a gracious host who goes out of her way to make you feel taken care of and at home. The home is situated near the Horseshoe Bay ferries and there are restaurants and places to eat. The only issue I would bring up is the lack of storage space for clothes and food. Because you are renting a lived in home, the is very little storage room to unpack into. The cozy stay and amazing views make up for lack of space to unpack into. If you are as lucky as we were, you may even be visited by a family of friendly raccoons.

Helena's home was the perfect place to stay while visiting Vancouver

I grew up in West Van but am now based in the UK and my husband and I and our 3 children (11,13 & 14) stayed in Helena's home on holiday for two weeks. The house is very spacious, clean and airy and even prettier than the photos. There is a lot of natural light from several large windows which also allow an amazing view of Bowen Island. The kitchen is very well-equipped, the showers are great and the beds are very comfortable. Helena was really welcoming, helpful and accommodating and I really cannot fault anything. The location is in a quiet neighbourhood near the golf course and the area is perfect for running and cycling. It is also an ideal base for getting to the BC Ferries, Squamish, or Whistler and it is only a 15min drive to Dundarave/Ambleside. I recommend this house for anyone who wants a relaxing and comfortable holiday and the chance to explore the North Shore. I truly felt at home in Helena's house.

Horseshoe Bay Rental

This lovely home comfortably accomodated 5 adults and 2 children. Everyone enjoyed their stay in this welcoming, eclectic, conveniently located house. The patios and garden spaces added to the charm. Incredible views and AMAZING stay!!!

We had an absolutely amazing time here! There is access to horseshoe bay in a 3 minute drive as well as many hikes and great restaurants close by. The property and home was fantastic and the photos don't do it justice, as the views from the deck and porch are INCREDIBLE! We were a group of 6 and would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in West Vancouver. I can't wait to go back, thank you Helena!!!

Lovely, Sunny and Peaceful

We as a family were very happy to be able to spend a few days at Helena's home in the area of Horseshoe Bay in West Vancouver BC. We were attending a family wedding in the area and,staying at the house, allowed us to stay together as a family and visit, instead of the alternative of staying in separate hotel rooms in the area. The house is very close to the village and within a 10 min walk or a 5 min drive,to the very spectacularly scenic townsite of Horseshoe Bay,where there are some very popular restaurants for breakfast, as well as lunch & evening dining. Also, close to the BC Ferry terminal, and the fantastically scenic, Sea to Sky hwy. if one wants to come in from Vanc. Island or even drive for 1.5 hrs to Whistler to ski. The house is not new, but renovated and bright and is easy to find and is situated in a stately well tread neighbourhood, above above any possible townsite noise.Upstairs, it has lovely views from 2 rooms. We found it very comfortable and we had plenty of room for our family who used both bedrooms,both full bathrooms and the upstairs den( one must be able to climb a normal set of stairs) for sleeping.The master bedroom bed was extremely comfortable and clean. The house has 2 decks which are very private so in the summer, it would be a nice place to sit and visit on a sunny day. We were very happy Helena was so accomodating for us at this time and it helped to bring our family together,create happy memories, reduce our stress during this time period. I would definitely stay here again,& recommend it, and already have to friends and family members in the area. Parking also was easy, and 2 parking spaces available plus the street,which can be a problem in such a popular area.This is a great place to take off from for a hike or a swim,boat ride or sail in the beautiful area of West Vancouver.

Recommendation

My husband and I rented this lovely home near Horseshoe Bay for a week and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The living space is relaxed, well cared for, and filled with lovely touches - lighting, art, and furnishings. The photos don't do it justice. The views of the mountains and ocean from the decks are beautiful. The kitchen layout is spacious and the outside BBQ grill works great. A fabulous health club is five minutes away, and quick access to the highway is very convenient to get to Stanley Park, Grouse Mountain, and food shopping - Whole Foods and great shops and restaurants in West Vancouver.

Charming comfort...

We stayed here July 2011 and had a wonderful stay here.  This was our first time renting from a private listing and Helena made the whole experience easy.  Her home is very comfortable and conveniently located to downtown, Grouse mountain, Stanley Park and walking distance to Horseshoe ferry.  Thank you Helena for the wonderful experience!
