Our Go To Place

This has become our go-to-place when we travel to Eagle Pass. It’s always clean, private and quiet aside from a few passing cars who feel the need to rev their engine to show unnecessary superiority. Any of the living residents or other renters at this complex are hardly seen so it makes for an even easier stay. Looking forward to going back soon.

The host started off strong communicating well and answering any questions we may have had. He even offered a few fishing spots (I knew there wouldn’t be many) when I asked. When we got into town we immediately knew it was not going to be the best part of town but we could deal with that. Once we walked in we hoped we would have an oasis to retreat to once we finished up at the casino, but there were too many paint points to be able to relax. I understand that having short term rentals means not so perfect esthetic, but the towel bar was completely missing and a lonely bracket from a second towel bar was randomly installed. The shower water was warm at best and made for very quick no relaxing showers. The refrigerator did not work and the light in the hall way flickered when turned on. When I messaged the host about it I got no response. The air vents were dirty and the place smelled like a head shop. It’s a good thing we ended up making some new friends at the Casio and got some good recommendations on places to stay on our future visits because we will not be booking this place again.

Great Place!

This place was very clean, up to date and very comfortable. We could have used some extra towels/washcloths and the kitchen needed paper towels but otherwise it was nice. Parking is a little tight so if you have a large vehicle you might want to park in front and not near your room. We will definitely stay again.

Quick trip to Kickapoo Casino

My husband, son and I took an overnight trip to do some gambling at the Kickapoo Casino. Our stay at Miguel's place was wonderful. Description was as stated to include the photos. Safe location and just love the western decor. Great communication with the owner. We highly recommend this location and definitely will be back. Thank you, the Stradford's

Little Gem

Such a perfect little place to stay. So clean and cute. Some other rentals in the town are noisy cause of their location. This one was perfect without any of that and our 2 year old slept perfectly fine without dogs barking or cars revving or racing. A gem in a long stretch of a road of businesses and homes.

Very nice apartment. My wife and enjoyed our stay. With the outrageous cost for the Marriott and Hilton properties in the area we visited, this was so much better choice then staying at one of those hotels. This did not feel like we were staying at hotel. Wish I booked it for more then an over night stay. We’ve already recommended this location to other family members. We will be back!!

Changed at last minute

I was called my mgr. Stating that the place we booked was having technical issues and that we would be moved to a different appt. I had noticed there was a young man staying at the appt. We had originally rented, so the question is, was there really a technical (a/c issue)?. It was casino themed, decorations were not what we had in mind. None of the outlets in the kitchen worked. Neighbors partied all night into the morning. Might have to rethink our next stay
