No hay necesidad de pelear sobre quién obtiene la vista al mar en este 6 dormitorios fabuloso, casa 4-baño en una playa rocosa privada! Con 270 grados de vistas de agua azul, cuatro de las habitaciones tienen vistas completas al Pacífico y la Bahía de Monterey. La quinta y sexta dormitorios tienen una zona tranquila, vistas al patio por si acaso alguien no le gusta ir a dormir con el sonido de las olas, o ver la luna se hunde en el mar en la noche.

Nuestra casa, conocida desde 1929 como Rocky Shores, está a minutos de Carmel y Cannery Row en Monterey, y Pebble Beach es nuestro vecino. Operamos bajo la licencia de alquiler a corto plazo # 83 de Pacific Grove.

The home has spectacular views from almost every room. My mother and I stayed in the downstairs rooms that view the courtyard. These rooms were very comfortable. Everything was clean. I enjoyed playing the Space Invaders pinball machine. I got the ball stuck and the host easily guided me to fix it. The hosts were very responsive and friendly.The house is pet friendly, you just have to be cautious about wildlife.

Magical Moments & Memories

Our trip was magical - the location of the private beach, the home itself, and the hospitality of Kirstie & Hannah were unmatched! The pictures do NOT do it justice. There was plenty of space for our party of 7. The kitchen was well equipped with anything we could need/want. We LOVED the fireplace, the spa (which was pre-heated), the movie room (and selections), the puzzle station (with so many puzzles), the pinball machine & ping pong table, and being one with Mother Nature (in luxury)! There are multiple nearby trails to explore the beautiful surroundings. Our overall experience was spectacular - we made so many wonderful memories. This home and overall experience was truly one of a kind - highly recommend (10/10)! We will definitely return. Thank you Kirstie and Hannah!

Family Reunion and Birthday Celebration

We convened from various places in th US to enjoy family and commune together. We also celebrated two birthdays of those with us. The home was charming, well appointed and superbly located. The host were accommodating, but invisible, a wonderful combination. Our stay was an enjoyable success.

Great Family Vacation

Amazing Property! There is so much to do in the area, but with a private beach and our own tide pools to explore, we rarely left. The house is designed very well for a multi-generational family vacation. Many spots to sit and relax and watch the waves. resident sea otters were in the bay every day. The pinball game was unexpected surprise to us. We didn't think we would enjoy it so much a whole family competition with our 7 yr old winning.Kristie said that the kitchen was well supplied. That was an understatement. Everything you can need for coking.Hannah did a great job checking us in and walking us through the house. a great week

Wonderful home and location!

I can’t say enough about this wonderful house. As some other reviewers have noted it isn’t as sterile or hotel-like as other rentals. It feels like a home, which helps make you feel Immediately comfortable. You can’t find a better location on the Monterey Peninsula. The tranquility you’ll feel watching the sunsets while sitting behind the house is unmatched. And the tide pooling is ridiculous! My kids spent the better part of each low tide exploring the rocks (the Great Tide Pool is a 5 min walk). Kirstie and Hannah are terrific and willing to help as much or little as you might need. I miss the sea smell immensely.

Fantastic Home in an Unbelievable Location

This house truly delivers on the idea of renting an 'ocean front' property. While you are there you are surrounded by the sound and views of the ocean, and the beach is just a handful of steps off the back door. We spent hours with our pre-teen kids on the beach at low tide investigating all the tide pools. Whether it was on the couch with morning coffee, a drink at sunset, or from the hot tub, we never got tired of the view.The house was lovely -- there's ample space and the rooms were all incredibly comfortable. The kitchen had everything we could have possibly needed, and since we often prefer to cook this was a huge plus for us.Lots of fun activities for the kids between the pinball machine, ping pong, a puzzle table, the hot tub, and the beach. Also a quick drive to the aquarium and cannery row.Was a magical trip, and everyone in the family is already asking when we can go back!

Fabulous place

We had 9 members of our family together to celebrate a special birthday. The home is right on the ocean with gorgeous views of the sunset. Every room is comfortable, and the kitchen is equipped with whatever you could need. When we had one little problem the owner responded immediately to fix it. There is so much to do in the area, but if you never left the house, you'd be perfectly happy!

Wonderful family gathering

Our family, all from out of state, gathered here for Thanksgiving, 2024. The location is incredible, literally on the coast. There are so many things to do in this area we could’ve stayed here much longer, but some needed to return to work. The house was built in 1928 and still retains some quirks, but it has been extensively and attractively remodeled. We agree with the many other 10/10 reviews.

Family Reunion Vacation

We had an awesome 5 day multi-generational family vacation thanks to the hospitality of Kirstie. The house was gorgeous and was stocked with everything you could possibly want or need. The location was perfect, and we were close to many restaurants and shops; and there were many activities for us to do. The views were spectacular, and we could see otters and whales right from the windows of the home. Kirstie was available to answer all questions, and she made us feel very comfortable and right at home. We highly recommend this vacation rental!

Amazing seaside location…Beautiful home!

Our family totally enjoyed all that this wonderful seaside home had to offer! Lovely morning sunrise views from the hot tub, spectacular sunsets, s’mores by the fire pit, tide pooling & lovely evenings surrounded by the warm ambiance of the wood fireplace . Adults and grandkids couldn’t have asked for a better location, home nor host that made our stay so memorable!

Thomas family vacation

Our family had a wonderful time at your beach home. We mostly cooked all our meals at the house. We used the barbarque for great outdoor cooking as well as the kitchen stove top and oven. Loved the large dining room table for family get togethers and the views of the ocean , tides and rocks were amazing. The kids used the hot tub and enjoyed it immensely. Beautiful Property

The house gave my family of 9 room to spread out as well as come together at dinner. Kirstie provided everything we needed during our stay and was easily available to answer questions. The views are amazing and the easy access to walking trails was great. Loved this house

Family Reunion at Rocky Shores

We celebrated my husband's 60th birthday last week with family members from Arizona, San Diego, Washington, and San Jose, and we had a marvelous time! Kirstie and Hannah were lovely and such gracious hosts, and we can't thank them enough for their hospitality. The house was perfect for our group, and we thoroughly enjoyed exploring Pacific Grove, Monterey, Carmel, and more! The house was immaculate and oh so comfy. Most of us spent a good part of our week enjoying walks on the beach and exploring the amazing tide pools. We prepared dinners every night in the spacious, beautiful kitchen, and all the comforts of home were available for cooking and BBQ'ing. This was definitely a 10 out of 10 experience and we would love to visit again in the future!

What a beautiful home! This home was perfect for our family gathering. Kirstie and Hannah were very welcoming and we received a very informative tour of the property upon arrival. Old guys group

We have a group of 8-10 guys who have done a week long ski trip for over 40 years. Father time has finally caught up, so this is our first non ski trip together. Could not have been better. Facilities perfect, location unsurpassed. The property manager and caretaker were on top of everything and very available. We took walks, played golf, went on a hike in Big Sur. All good

Amazing Thanksgiving location

Our family stayed at this wonderful Pacific Grove home over Thanksgiving. The home is a bit on the older side with some quirkiness here and there, but has been updated with most all the modern conveniences you could want. There are also some very cool and unusual features like a real operating pinball machine, a Steinway player piano and a modern jacuzzi. But the real killer feature is the location. There are other homes that overlook the ocean in Pacific Grove, but hardly any of them are on the ocean side of the road with no obstructions to the water. You literally look out the windows and see the waves crashing on the rocks. You can also see tons of pelicans flying by and sea otters frolicking in the surf. Watching the sunset while sitting in the jacuzzi is just ridiculously beautiful. We had a great time staying at this very special home.

Family get together

Once you walk into this beautiful home, you won't want to leave. Our family of 8- All adults, came to celebrate a birthday.The kitchen has all the appliances you could need. The gas stove is easy to use, and the refrigerator is stocked with most any condiments you would need. So stop in first before you shop. The view alone will make you just want to sit and relax. And the spa is a wonderful place to be after a day out ( or in). We just loved it.

Serenity in the serene

The house is a dream for those that are looking to get away and be right in the heart of the Monterey, PG, Carmel experience. One of two homes that are directly on the ocean, this two-story was a uniquely refreshing stay for my group as we worked an event at the nearby Laguna Seca track. There are so many cool little touches to the house that make it feel like a home. A lot of VRBOs feel like they have been sanitized to be more of a hotel than a house. We really enjoyed watching movies in the theater room on the laserdisc, they have quite the collection of Laser discs, DVDs and VHS. The kitchen was very well equipped and having the gas grill made it very easy to make meals at night. Rooms were well sized and offered different options for those that stayed there. Having four showers was great for quick exits in the morning to get to the track. The "hidden bedroom" was really special and had some of the best windows to look out onto the ocean. Kirstie and Hannah are great hosts and were extremely communicative and accommodating throughout the stay. Their recommendations for things to do and see around the area as well as some of the special things that can offer at the house were of interest, but unfortunately we could not take advantage of.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

We bought our home because it was the only home directly on the beach in all of Pacific Grove. It was extremely private, with a golf course across the street, State Park surrounds us, and the blue Pacific is our backyard. We have a full acre of private property. Another residence has since been built next door, on its own acre of land. A portion of our stone driveway is shared by both homes.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

I love to look out my window and see the full moon casting sparkling light onto the dark waves as it sinks to the horizon. On clear evenings, the sunsets are spectacular. The morning sunrise casts a pink glow on the waves. And when it is foggy, there is a magic about the property that is enhanced with a roaring wood blaze in the fireplace, or a glass of wine in the hot tub.
