This country cabin is less than three miles from downtown Fredericksburg, where you will find excellent restaurants, tasting rooms, antique shops, and historic sites. Sample the renowned local wine at one of the numerous vineyards and tasting rooms in and around town, or join a wine-tasting tour that will transport you safely from vineyard to vineyard. Watch the horses at the Gillespie County Race Track, or sit down for dinner at the Cabernet Grill Texas Wine Country Restaurant.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a very nice cabin. Very simple with a nice hot tub. Perfect place for a couples getaway. Only issue we had was we took our dog, and there are a lot of stickers in the grass. Otherwise this was perfect. It was quite and easy to locate. Super clean.

Traffic was moderate but it did feel intrusive while trying to drink coffee on the front porch. I think they should be more upfront with the true description of the property. Also water pressure was an issue as well.

Anniversary Getaway

Very quiet, perfect place to getaway and exactly what we were looking for in Fredericksburg. Very close to many wineries, restaurants to eat and Walmart for something’s we forgot from home. Easy access to this place. We just loved it here and we will definitely be back!

The hot tub was our favorite part for sure. It was great to wake up early and hike Enchanted Rock (25 mins away), come back to the cabin to have lunch and soak in the hot tub for a little bit, then get dressed for date night in downtown Fredericksburg (7 mins away!) We don't have any complaints and would recommend this to anyone passing through Fredericksburg.

Close enough to town, but away from everything. It had everything we needed. The Hot Tub was fantastic after a long day of hiking and horseback riding. For the price, it was well worth it.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We reserved Sunset View. When arriving the cabin was musty and looked dirty, there was also smell of a skunk. I called the booking agent who was super sweet and we were able to change to the Moon View cabin next door. A little cleaner. Loved the access to the hot tub. Cabin is smaller than expected. Its located in a odd neighborhood, not much privacy. We stay at VRBO's pretty frequently and this one was by far the worst. There is a list of rules on the mini fridge and what we must do before checking out. Never in my life have i been asked to strip the bed, take out the trash and a list of other to do's. They are dog friendly but require for you to kennel your dog when you leave which was weird? The cabin sits on the families property up front by the road. When visiting Fredericksburg there is just so much to do, we weren't at the cabin much. I did like the location and how close it was to restaurants etc.

Nice little cabin

This is a neat little cabin in a relatively secluded area that is still convenient to Main St and Wineries. The bed was comfortable, the hot tub in good shape, electric fireplace, and a good mini fridge. There were some missed opportunities though-this is the first VRBO i have stayed in that did not provide shower soap or shampoo, which isn't a huge deal if you know that in advance, which we didn't, so we had to buy some while there. There were also only 2 coffee mugs and 2 wine glasses but no dish rag or sponge to wash them so we bought sme cheap wine glasses and just left them there for others to use. The ceiling fans were filthy with dust on the blades and obviously hadn't been cleaned in a while, not the owner's fault but the cleaning crew. All in all we would stay there again since we now know what to expect and to bring with us.

Fabulous Get Away

We loved the cabin! It was the perfect distance from town and the hot tub was amazing! The view from the porch was beautiful and relaxing, some mornings there would even be a herd of goats hanging outside across the road. Cabin was beautiful and had everything we needed. Would definitely love to stay there again!

The cabin was cute but do feel that it was not at its full potential. The cleaning is lax and it was very dusty. The outside trash was full and the grill and outside solar lights did not work. Maria was very nice and on our last day she did fix the grill issue and hung a new string of lights and took out the trash which was very much appreciated she was very nice. Other than that, the hot tub was very relaxing and we did have a great time.
