This Sea Mist Resort oceanfront property offers amazing direct views of the ocean from both the balcony and the unit. Located on the ninth floor, this room sleeps up to two people in a queen bed. This elegant apartment is well situated in the heart of South Carolina's Myrtle Beach. It has a stovetop, microwave, refrigerator, stovetop, and LCD TV in addition to a private bathroom.

The house is well situated in the center of Myrtle Beach, and your private balcony overlooks the ocean. A short drive gets you to Market Common, Broadway at the Beach, Ripley's Aquarium, and other popular destinations, restaurants, golf courses, and shopping centers. Moreover, Plus, it has free Wi-Fi. Please note that the resort's Wi-Fi and cable are currently being worked on, so you may not have Wi-Fi or cable during your stay. We suggest that guests use an Internet hotspot to connect to the TV to use the streaming apps. Also, the pools are closed due to a heater/sealing project, and there is no access to the on-site gym.

Place has bugs

They have bugs in the place and crazy rules and took my deposit for no reason cause I used the dish rags to clean dishes considering there's no sponge or paper towels provided .

Our VRBO-booked studio room was excellent and the beach view was great, however he facilities leave a lot to be desired. The pool attached to the main building was algae filled and unusable (though we were not there for the pool) and parking is atrocious. You may have to find a spot off the facility and walk a bit. The elevators were messed up, you hit the button for one and you had to walk around the corner to get into the other one that had actually opened. The desk staff was really friendly and helpful and access to beach is right there.

Good if there's nothing else available

Overpriced, but ok if you're booking last minute. The bathroom sink was stopped up and maintenance never came to unstop it. The broiler on the oven didn't work and you could only use maybe two of the eyes. One drinking glass and one wine glass. We had to buy drinking cups. Also, the trash chute was not working and the pools were closed. If you get a parking spot, don't leave. We ended up walking everywhere. Lastly, a LOT of rules. Three pages to review and follow.

Poor Management

The location was great. However, the description was not accurate. There were no "New renovations"; however, that was not the issue. The wifi service was poor; we couldn't watch an entire movie without waiting 20 min intervals for a "reconnection." Maintenance was contacted within the 1st hour of check-in AS INSTRUCTED, with no response until the next day. Upon speaking with someone at the front desk, she informed me that the wifi is shared between 2 buildings Creating "spotty service." She went on to tell me that wifi would be installed in the building within a month. Therefore, the renter knew that wifi service was not working in the building; however, this was not disclosed in the agreement. In most cases, a trip to the beach would not warrant the need for wifi; however, we are business owners, and although we took a quick trip to the beach to celebrate my husband's birthday, we were still working remotely. Due to pre-existing deadlines, we were forced to book an alternate hotel close by due to the slow resolution. We only stayed one night here; however, we are being refused a refund for the remaining nights we were forced to stay elsewhere. Also, contacting Vrbo was useless as they provided no additional assistance. We have booked through Virbo many times in the past with no problems. However, this experience will make us think twice before using this service again. If you are booking this location with a need for connectivity, this is NOT the place.

We fell in love with the apartment when we first saw it because of its stunning terrace that overlooked the ocean. The pools and beach area are really popular with our small child.
