Hi everyone! This is a new listing and we are excited to host you! This is our second home and decided to open it up so you can enjoy all it has to offer too! Surrounded by beautiful weather & nature you’ll never want to leave! Enjoy relaxing by yourself or with family and friends. In the Spring, explore hiking trails and nearby creeks! In the winter months, have fun playing in the snow, sledding, or just snuggling up by the fireplace.
The space
Our cabin is ideal for a weekend getaway and a place to unwind. There are stairs and no handicap access/rails. Snow falls often during the Winter and into Spring. Bedrooms are large, and one bedroom is upstairs. The cabin is heated by small floor heaters and a wood burning fireplace.

Wood is provided for all guests. There is a coffee maker, espresso machine and keruig. Electric stove with oven, refrigerator, washer and dryer and BBQ.

It was a long and beautiful drive to get there, but the treacherous journey was worth it. The roads are paved clean these winter months and the area around is quite peaceful and considerably spacious. The cabin was everything it needed to be packed, cozy, and beautiful. Advise that you should have a full tank of gas before entering the mountains because the journey is long and the nearest gas station is an hour away from the cabin.

This cabin stays very cozy and warm. We loved it and would recommend it to anyone! It unexpectedly snowed about 2 ft the night we arrived. We were completely snowed in and the owner generously arranged to have the snow plowed out of the driveway so we could get out. The roads are plowed often throughout the day. The owner stocks the place with firewood downstairs in the garage. And they provide what is available in the cabin, such as towels, shampoo conditioner, dish soap, paper towels, toilet paper, foil, Saran wrap, baggies, and a couple of dish towels, and a scrubby. There were no dishcloths. Etc. It was a wonderful place to go and most things are provided. We stayed six nights. I would still recommend you bring a lot of your own things because you might run out of things that are used by others and left there for your use. For example, fire starter dishcloths, extra paper towels if you use a lot of them, just in case you run out, because there are no stores close by and who knows but it might snow you in LoL It is an amazing place to stay! My husband and I stayed for 4 days and our children and grandchildren joined us the last day and they all got to play in the snow! We all loved the beds furniture, decor and the entire setup was very family friendly and cozy!

The cabin was perfect! We loved all the little things that were left for us in the welcome basket! I left a thank you note in the cabin for Alex and Casey. I would love to make sure they know about it. I would also love to recommend a guest book for them to have for guests to write about their stay and any recommendations for places to see or eat for future guests to read. Just a thought. Any suggestions for fixes: downstairs bathroom tub is very slick. Maybe add a hand rail…also the window in that bathroom is crooked and won’t open.

The Cabin is really beautiful and spacious. The host left us a welcome basket of goodies and coffee. The kitchen was fully stocked with multiple appliances to use. There was towels and ballets supplied for us to use. Host was generous and allowed us to do a late check out of the cabin. My family and i enjoyed staying here while visiting Sequoia National Park.

Wonderful stay yet again!

The cabin is very comfortable and clean. We are satisfied with every room in the cabin (inside and out), our favorite is the living room (the fire place makes you feel relaxed and cozy). Alex was very patient and understanding with our booking, made it less stressful for me. Thank you. We hope to return asap!

Great cabin in the woods

Stayed here with my family—we were very happy staying here. It was comfortable, clean and peaceful in nature. The drive up the mountain was curvy and winding, so be aware of that if you have car sickness problems!

Cozy and quiet retreat

We absolutely enjoyed our time in this lovely cabin. It certainly delivered on being a remote retreat, and everyone had a great time. We especially enjoyed having bon fires at night and sitting on the porch drinking coffee in the morning. We would absolutely stay again!

Beautiful, remote cabin

We loved our stay! The cabin was very clean and well maintained. We loved the location as it was very peaceful. This side of the park is much less crowded than the more well known areas. It was a long trip up a windy mountain road but totally worth it. The only downside we found was that the beds weren't firm enough but that was just our preference. The hosts were very friendly and easy to communicate with and we would stay again in a heartbeat.

Cozy Cabin

A cozy and spacious cabin with a big deck and room for outside games on the property. The road to the cabin is windy but well paved. We really enjoyed our stay.

Awesome cabin in the woods

The cabin is great. Everything worked properly, the beds were so comfortable, lots of woods available for the wood stove to keep warm and everything was clean. The only thing I would point out is that you have to pay attention to the weather when going there. We got a snow storm and the roads were dangerous to get there and most were closed. We also got snowed in and spent the whole weekend in the cabin. It was great for us since it was what we wanted but if you plan to hike and drive around the mountains definitely do not go during the winter. Overall, this is a great place to stay if you go to sequoia np and don’t want to camp.
