We were traveling with our 3 kids. This was a fun place to stay. Everyone loved the uniqueness. It was clean and comfortable. Would love to come back some time. It was a great place to stay and very historic and would recommend it. The only thing to consider is if you stay there when the temp is below 15C they need to turn the heat up to 100% as it is cold and takes awhile to heat up. Not a negative, just a preparation.

Private getaway

This property is picture perfect from the entrance to the comfortable beds! This church is on its own private property the only neighbor in sight are the head stones of history gone by. We also got to see a pair of foxes to top off the perfect relaxing stay!

Perfect old Gothic Church

Beautifully restored church that sits on a wonderful plot of land and cemetery. The hosts were so friendly and did every thing they could to make us feel at home. We had a wonderful time and would return anytime!

Wonderful space - so unique, but also very comfortable. This is an ingenious restoration that is beautifully rendered. You're only about 20-25 minutes outside Waterford by car - an easy commute and there is plenty of parking right by the river. You're not far from the coastal towns of Ireland's Ancient East, which are well worth the drive. This is a great central location and such a fun place to stay. We loved it!

What a unique experience! Cozy inside with a charming wood burning stove to keep warm. Well stocked kitchen. Does have some spiderwebs & occasional crawlies (only mentioning because we have a squeamish child with such things). Quiet location but close enough to town for restaurants, etc. Would recommend!

A Unique Treasure!

We had a fantastic stay at the Gothic Church. It was a cozy getaway outside of town. The shower was warm with good pressure. We voted the upstairs bed the most comfortable on our trip! Carmel was a fantastic host with so many ideas about what to see and do, and gave us great recommendations for restaurants.
