ALQUILER DE 2 DORMITORIOS EN LA PLAYA
El alquiler está justo en la playa. No hay nada entre usted y el lago, excepto la playa.
Las comodidades incluyen pisos de madera, Internet de alta velocidad, cable t. v., aire central, parrilla de carbón, cafetera, microondas, ventiladores de techo y 350 'de playa privada. Nuestra casa está justo en la playa.

Estamos situados a poca distancia de las dunas parque de estado de Indiana y el Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore, donde hay miles de hermosa senderismo, ciclismo y cruz pistas de esquí. A un corto diez minutos de distancia se encuentran las ciudades son Chesterton y Porter, donde hay una serie de excelentes restaurantes, tiendas y atracciones culturales. Estamos a una hora de Chicago en coche o en la costa sur del ferrocarril (la parada más cercana a nosotros es la estación del parque de las dunas).

Nuestras tarifas son $ 195-205 por noche dependiendo de la duración de la estancia, el número de personas y el número de habitaciones. Las tasas bajan después del 23 de septiembre. Tenemos un mínimo de 4 noches y lo siento pero no se permiten mascotas ni fumar. La capacidad máxima es de 5 personas (adultos y niños). Invitados y visitantes adicionales no están permitidos.

Magical

Beautiful beach, peaceful home, interesting local history, and wonderful host. As long as you are able bodied enough for taking luggage down and up stairs, you will love it!

Dunes/Lake Michigan cottage

The owner was awesome. She personally showed us the property and told us everything that we needed to know. The property and view were amazing. The owner was responsive when we accidently locked ourselves out. My daughter loved the property and the dunes in general. I would definitely stay again.

Getaway to dunes.

Great for enjoying the beach! Cozy place in a quirky older dune community right on the beach. Susan was a good host. A few things to note that I didn’t fully catch in the description; the Property is bottom floor of a modified two story structure ( top floor is also rented out), laundry is a couple coin operated units a few steps away from the rental, and you’ll need to be ready for hauling luggage and groceries up and down the stairs from the parking area at top of dune. If you are good with that, you’ll have a blast.

Perfect Birding Festival Weekend

My son (who is 11) and I were in town for the birding festival and were so lucky to have been able to book this lovely cottage. It is literally on the beach, surrounded by sand and gorgeous views. It was so peaceful and we loved listening to the waves from the private deck! We will definitely be back next year and hopefully before!

An oasis close to home

This rental was one of the best locations we have ever stayed. The cottage was right on the beach and had all the comforts of home. The host has thought of just about everything and has provided it, including beach chairs, kayaks, sand toys, and much more. There were two things that were not mentioned in the description, but were mentioned in the comments: you park at the top of a steep hill, and have to walk down many wooden steps to reach the cottage. We would have packed differently if we had seen that in the description. The description did not mention that this cottage was located below another rental. Luckily, our upstairs neighbors were fairly quiet, and we mostly heard the floor creaking when they walked in and a little bit of muffled sound from the television. We normally do not find issue with the taste of water in most places that we have traveled, but we struggled with the taste of the well water. You may want to pick up some bottled water for drinking. The state park is literally just a walk down the beach. We hiked two days in the state park and it was fantastic. Unfortunately we did not make it to the national park. We definitely plan to come back in the future. Our host not only provided suggestions of hikes, but also some great restaurants. She was super responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

Great family getaway

We enjoyed our stay. Very clean property, beautiful beach, quiet neighborhood. The furniture is older but with small children it worked well for us. Read the details carefully. The trek down the stairs to the property is no joke!

I can't say enough about the owner and the property itself. You are right on the lake with a view and location that is unbeatable in my opinion. The property was absolutely spotless, I loved Susan (owner) sharing the history of the property and was accessible to any questions. Excellent location to any area attractions...but you won't want to leave the property because of the peaceful surroundings and view. Will be back without a doubt.

Our amazing vacay

When we looked at renting on the lakeshore we didn’t know and understand exactly how these home rentals operate - tourists, newbies! We loved it immediately! Right at the beach and lake in a home obviously loved by the owners. The way the vintage and the up to date blended was perfect for us. Perfect weekend getaway

This was our second stay at this location. We love the proximity to the lake - wonderful views from all the windows and access right outside the door. Susan is always so easy to work with!

Magical!

This place is paradise ! We had a wonderful stay and every morning and evening was a blast with amazing sunrises and sunsets. The outside is just surreal and so beautiful. Walking distance by the beach to the national Park was such a great opportunity to hike. The bungalow is super nice and cosy, views are exceptional!! Only downside for us : you have someone above your head... just pray they are considerate people, like the neighbors we had.

Best beach vacation

The cottage is right on Lake Michigan with private beach area. Rooms were comfortable and up to date. Only downside is the steps to get up and down dune. Two sisters as owners were very polite and responsive to any needs

Overall our stay was great despite some cold weather. The views from the units are amazing. Wonderful customer service and clean. Everything you need for a relaxing vacation. Can't wait to go back in the summer. The stairs to/from are many. We'd have packed lighter had we realized.

Fun winter getaway

Awesome views of the lake. Lots of stairs to get down to the property from the parking area but it was manageable. Inside was clean and fit well with our small group. Property owner was always available to answer questions and give local advice.

Cozy Spot Right on the Lake

Easy to work with the owner via text. We met the owner outside and masked in order to know where to park and how to access the unit. Unit was very clean, cozy, with good view of the lake. As others have pointed out, there are about two flights of stairs in order to access the rental. To note - the room with twin beds has french doors to the living area, a window on the side (by the kitchen), and a door and two small windows to the other bedroom. The views, being right on the water, and walking distance to the dunes (state park) really made our stay worthwhile.

Our cottages are right on the beach. There is nothing between you and the lake except beach. You can walk on the beach for miles in either direction. From the cottage or the beach you can watch the sun set behind the skyline of Chicago or watch a beautiful lightening storm cross the lake.
