Shhh! Mt Washington es uno de los secretos mejor guardados de la isla de Vancouver. Esta colina de esquí orientada a la familia se jactaba del segundo paquete de nieve más grande durante los Juegos Olímpicos de 2010. Se puede acceder fácilmente al Monte Washington conduciendo directamente desde Victoria, BC, o es un viaje rápido en ferry desde el continente. Durante el verano es un destino para excursionistas y ciclistas de montaña mientras exploran las laderas de la montaña o el mundialmente conocido Parque Strathcona. Durante el invierno es un país de las maravillas nevado mágico.

Ubicada perfectamente entre el hotel de campo traviesa y el complejo alpino, esta casa adosada con acceso directo para esquiar es una delicia. Las vistas del parque Strathcona deslumbran tanto a los esquiadores como a los no esquiadores. En el invierno, la casa está perfectamente preparada para familias que pueden escoltar rápidamente a sus hijos al otro lado de la calle hasta el telesilla más cercano y volver rápidamente para después de esquiar cuando termine el día.

En el verano, puede cenar al aire libre en el patio después de un día de senderismo, pesca o ciclismo y deleitarse con la paz y la serenidad que ofrece. Hay amplio espacio de almacenamiento disponible en el garaje para almacenar todos los juguetes con los que te gusta viajar.

Esta unidad es una de las dos disponibles (una al lado de la otra) en alquiler. Perfecto para bodas de verano y celebraciones navideñas.

Decorado con buen gusto y 'nuevo' a partir de 2007. Bien equipadas, cómodas camas y techos de 12 pies, esta espaciosa casa adosada proporcionará una de las bases más maravillosas para sus vacaciones familiares. ¡¡Disfrutar!!

Great family home away from home

This property has everything needed for a family stay: high chair, booster, tons of toys, potty and even kids appropriate cutlery. It is conveniently located minutes walk from the Hawk chair and Nordic trails. We loges our stay!

Great Family Ski Trip

We had a great, relaxing time at the property. Plenty of space for 6 of us (grandparent, parents, and two small kids). The Hawk chair is a mere 150m away, making it super convenient to ski without driving anywhere. The house had all the amenities and plenty of toys for the kids. Thank you Samantha for the hospitality!

Ideal get-away!

The property was exactly what we were looking for - lots of space, great for kids (lots of books, games, places to hide from parents) and everything we needed was there. Ideal location close to the Hawk chairlift; it was easy to use the magic carpets to get our kids to the ski lessons and easy for us to get on the mountain for our own skiing. Place was clean, well organized and had comfy beds. Fully recommend it!

A Happy Christmas

We enjoyed staying at this property a lot - a fun way to get everybody together for Christmas. The weather on Mount Washington was terrible, but that wasn’t our host’s fault. Fortunately, there was lots to do in and around the house, games, movies and fun things to take our minds off the fact that snow sports were out of the question.

Great family house

We rented this townhouse for our wedding weekend. It has everything you could want. It’s very spacious, with plenty of sleeping spaces, we just have 1 child but could’ve squeezed in lots more! This is just down the road from The Raven Lodge, it was a great location for us. Samantha was very responsive to any need we had. This is a great family home, it has a ping pong table that was a huge hit, and also an amazing ‘kids zone’ on the top floor. Beware tho, there’s a lot of stairs! You will feel the burn by day 3 of going up and down 😊

Fantastic accommodation with wonderful host!

We were pleasantly surprised to find the already attractive pictures did not actually give the full scale of the accommodation. We found it much larger than the pictures portrayed it. There was so much space to have our family gather and not feel like we were in each others space the whole time. The house was brilliantly equipt with anything you might need from a games room in the garage to plenty of toys and play spaces for young kids. The kitchen was well stocked with what we needed to prepare a christmas dinner and the bedrooms were cozy and comfortable. The host was very quick to communicate and accommodate us when our plans had small changes beyond our control. I would happily stay here again. Thanks very much!

Great place to stay on Mount Washington

Very nice accommodations a short walk from the Hawk chair lift. Very good for children and families. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable living area, the lego collection was nice for my son. Could comfortably fit 2 couples and 4 children.

Comfortable, convenient, well equipped

We spent 4 nights with our son, his wife and a grandchild. Perfect setup. Layout is great for socializing but also offers privacy. Casual, not fancy, but laid back and comfortable. Very well equipped kitchen, including spices! Tons of books, toys. And generally cool stuff for kids. Close to lifts and Nordic center. Easy parking for us (though might be a bit trickier with lots of snow.

Great Ski Accommodations

Large multi level townhouse that was very well equipped. Location within a short walking distance from main lift. Feels like a ski chalet on the mountain !

Magical Time with Family

We absolutely loved staying in the beautiful town home on Mt Washington that Samantha and her family offered to us! There was ample of great space for the five of us! Everything was so lovely upon arrival! Bedrooms for everyone, including the loft. Everything was so clean. The kitchen was so well stocked for cooking etc. Much appreciated.! Beautiful decor that made you feel good! Great dining room space with pretty winter outlook! Wonderful times were had in the dining room, playing games, listening to music and eating meals etc. The town home is in a perfect location between both between both chalets. Easy walk over to the Nordic chalet! Samantha was great to work with. I can see she really cares about her guests. We loved it so much! So grateful!

What a place!

This was such a pleasant trip to make with our 1.5 year old. There is so much for a kid to do here- both inside and outside. As a travelling parent, I brought a lot of things that were able to stay in the car as it’s already available at the rental. It’s super duper spacious. The location is lovely and very convenient. All parts of this getaway home are well equipped- kitchen, play room, bedrooms. I think they’re working out the cleaning company as we did have a few close calls with running low on toilet paper and dish soap. The owner was able to coordinate getting us supplies very quickly though!

Christmas Experience

We enjoyed our time very much , overall our experience was exactly what we were looking for , Infact the unit is what saved the day, we weren't able to ski , snow shoe or even sleigh ride ,so we hunkered down played games , shared meals and spent some well needed family time. Perfect Location & Wonderful Place

We were two families renting this property and loved it for its location and its layout which allowed all of us to have privacy. It is nice and close to the hill which made coming back for lunch a breeze. This is the second time my family has stayed here and it was just as wonderful the second time.

Can't get more practical than this!

Ski right up to the back door! We had a lovely time. Mount Washington was little known to us but what a gem. Beautiful ski hills, terrific views and great amenities. The house has everything we needed and helped make our holiday amazing.

Winter Wonderland

The accommodations were what we expected. Beautifully decorated and had a very good stocked kitchen. Easy access to the ski hills and snowshoeing was just down the road from the unit. Unfortunately, when we arrived the unit was extremely cold as the thermostats were all turned off and it took overnight to get the chill out. In the late evening, we went to have showers and discovered there was no hot water so we had to turn on the hot water tank. It took a long time to heat so only 2 out of 6 of us got a shower. The snow had not been removed from balconies (it was the only unit not shoveled) so we could not see out of the windows nor could we open the doors. We shoveled the back door ourselves so we could use it to go to the ski hill. We contacted the owner and was assured it was going to be done but it was not done for the duration of our stay. Needless to say, we felt boxed in and we could not enjoy the view which in part is what we were paying for.

Great family accommodation.

Worked well for 4 adults and 4 teens. Arrived after dark which made finding the property very difficult. The owner was very gracious and helped us over the phone even though it was late. The house was well appointed and had everything we needed. A beautiful location!

Absolutely wonderful. Condo was clean and warm and welcoming. Everything was great.

We had a wonderful time. Very convenient to the lift going up and snowshoe trails right across the street. The bedrooms are beautiful and comfortable. Enough room to spread out and enjoy. It was a wonderful trip.

We were excited to learn that there was a ski hill on Vancouver Island that was affordable to access and to teach our children how to ski. We have since learned that it is one of the nicest family oriented ski hills with a range of skiing from beginner to technical. It also has boasted some of the best snow in the province.

We couldn't believe how beautiful it was in the summer.
Instant access to trails and boardwalk area around Strathcona park in the summer. A beautiful place to be too to access day to Qualicum Beach, Courteney, Comox, Parksville and Campbell River by day but peace by night.
