Beautiful, clean property. Cute little house perfect for a weekend away with the dogs. I had to call to get help with the keypad for entry and they answered immediately and were so kind and helpful! We will book again next year!

It was pet-friendly, great fenced backyard, in a convenient location. We felt safe.There was some connection issue with the projector (in lieu of a TV) in the living room, so we were unable to watch what we had planned to view. The microwave was broken, which we needed to use.Other than those issues, the rooms, beds, and kitchen worked well for us.

Many improvements would elevate staying there. Bathroom floor molding needs cleaned, bottom of tub was dirty looked like dirt was in permanent but it can be cleaned with CloroxGrass was over grown in front and back, grass growing in between the wood and on the chairs in back yardKitchen sink faucet was loose and moved every time water was turned on. Have a project and screen in place of a TV with no instructions on which of the four remotes was for.

One night stay over

It worked for what we needed. Shows Kuerig coffee pot in photos so we brought our own pods. No Kuerig, but a drip coffee maker. Secluded backyard but noisy street nearby. Quiet neighbors.

Quick visit

We passed through on our way south so only stayed here for 1 night both ways. It suited us for a place to sleep, and that was it. Comfy beds. Backyard good for dogs. Neighborhood is ok but doesn’t seem great. Not the best kitchen set up but we didn’t cook here. Host was gracious to allow us to modify our stay on the way back due to some trouble we had with our vehicle and needed to stay one day later. Very nice host to accommodate.

Overnite stay traveling back home to Texas

Really the only bad is the backyard needs more light. We made sure cleaned up after our dogs in the morning since we got in so late. We were so tired.

Perfect backyard/garage setup for dogs!

This was our second time staying at this property with our dogs and unfortunately, I forgot about the perfume smell from the first time! I remembered right when we walked in and smelled it. The place is extremely clean, well appointed, and great location and wonderful completely fenced backyard connection to attached garage, which could not be better for the dogs and keeping them safe, especially with our late night arrival early morning departure.but the air freshener is overwhelming, the smell is way too strong throughout the house and I don’t think we can stay there again unfortunately!

With a little effort

The bedroom and bathroom were clean enough, check in seamless, and host was available. Access to backyard is through a dirty garage. House was not clean or well maintained. Would not stay again. With a little effort could be a very good stay.

Comfortable

Our family stayed here on our way to our destination for the night & again on the way home. Beds are comfortable which is all we really needed. Back yard is fenced for dogs. Neighborhood is ok, across from a post office, Not a lot of space in the kitchen but it suited us fine for a place to sleep.

Overall nice but lacking a bit

House was clean, easy to access. Close to groceries and restaurants. Could use hooks in the bathroom. Chest of drawers in bedrooms. Kitchen could be better outfitted. Yard was great for dogs but needs better lighting for night.

The house was great and the yard was fantastic. Our dogs had a great time and the doggie door was a pleasant extra. The location was fantastic as we were visiting family in Kansas as well. We would definitely stay again.

Peaceful Quiet Clean

We enjoyed our stay, for the most part. The house was clean and quiet. We liked that. We are an older couple and had no idea how to run the TV. We managed to watch a few shows, but couldn't find any live TV. Maybe some instruction will help. We would come again if could figure it out. No real complaints at all.

We believe that location is everything and we know we have that with The Virginia. Just a few minutes off of I-44 and situated right in between both hospitals in Joplin, we believe we have the perfect place to stay whether you're in town as a pit stop or here to care for a loved one or for work.

A plethora of dining options are within walking distance, and so many more within a 15-20 drive. Joplin does offer Uber Eats and DoorDash, and there's a pharmacy within walking distance.
