You’ll find the time and space you need to relax and get away from it all in this new build cabin. The Loon’s Nest has all the amenities that you find in other luxury cabins, but also has the charm of an old family gathering place tucked deep in the woods. We're located far enough away from the highway to gain peace and quiet, however centrally located for venturing out to experience all that Hochatown has to offer.

Enter the comfort zone with a spacious kitchen, spacious spa-like bathrooms, relaxing hot tub with view of the pine forest, and a wraparound porch featuring many sitting areas with comfortable furniture.

Great house

We really enjoyed our stay , the house was a great fit for my family. Our only complaint is the beds downstairs are very hard. Everything else was wonderful.

Great cabin, great host, great time!

The cabin was exactly as described. Extremely clean, well taken care of and responsive to all of our requests. The hosts went above and beyond to accommodate a late checkout and an unplanned/additional day required for a meeting. We will be booking with them again on future trips!

Friend trip

Property was nice and had plenty of room. However, outdoor furniture needs deep cleaned and the beds are hard as a rock. Cooking pans are terrible, and the neighbor hood roads are dirt that will cover every inch of your vehicle.

Fall get away

The outdoor patio furniture was very uncomfortable, and that's where we spent most of our time. Some of the jets in the hot tub didn't work. Other than that, the cabin was great! The roads to the cabin were very rough.

Wonderful place!

We had 5 adults and 1 infant for our three-night stay in this wonderful home. Every aspect of the place and management experience was spot-on. The house just functions. That's the best word for it - you can do pretty much anything with it that you want. I'm a very early riser who writes for a living, and I was able to set up an impromptu office early mornings on the huge back porch and get work done for several hours before anyone else arose. We had lots of fun outdoors and in spa, as well as in town where there is lots to do. Also visited the beautiful nearby lake and state park, which is just minutes away. Jon and Jessica were very helpful and responsive to the few questions we had. I can't recommend this home highly enough. Perfect for a family getaway.

A perfect family getaway!

I was very impressed by the location of this property and the overall experience at this cabin. It is set surrounded by beautiful pine trees with just enough distance from anyone else to feel comfortably secluded. The cabin has the rustic look and feel I was looking for, with all the modern amenities you could desire. The kids loved the loft, and my girlfriend and I loved the modern luxuries like the huge walk-in shower with overhead rain faucet and the jacuzzi on the back porch. We grilled hamburgers and steaks on the large outdoor gas grill, and cooked other meals in the large kitchen. Everything was great and everyone had a great experience. Communication with the hosts was great, and any concerns I had were quickly resolved above and beyond my expectations. I highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a relaxing spot to get away and enjoy the peace and relaxation of nature.

Cabin with all the extras near everything

Great new spacious cabin. Nicely designed and decorated. Kitchen well stocked. Excellent hot tub overlooking tall pin trees and nearby campfire. 5 min drive to a shopping center with groceries and BBQ. Very close to Beaver trail system. Would definitely stay again. Communication with the host was excellent.

Amazing place

This place was a great getaway for our family! This house is amazing! It’s new had plenty of room for our family of 6, and the outdoor area in the back was very nice! Highly recommend this property!
