Important Update: Beginning March 2025, Amelia by the Sea will undergo vital structural improvements to ensure our property's long-term beauty and safety. While we're excited about these enhancements, we want to be upfront with you: construction work, including concrete and steel repairs, as well as balcony renovations, will create noise during daytime hours for approximately 12 months. During balcony work, access to your unit's balcony may be temporarily restricted or blocked. Construction Hours are 8am-5:30 M-F, no work on weekends.

We value your vacation experience and understand that peaceful oceanfront moments are precious. If you're considering a stay with us during this period, please factor this into your planning. Our team is happy to provide more specific details about the construction schedule and potential balcony access restrictions to help you make the best decision for your stay.

Looking for your forever vacation beach condo? This renovated 2-bedroom 2-bath ground floor end unit is it! 

The master bedroom has a direct oceanfront view with a separate sliding glass door to the balcony along with King size bed with a Tempurpedic mattress and an en-suite bathroom.  The second bedroom has a queen and twin bed.   The Kitchen has plenty of space, tools, and cookware to make great family meals.  Outdoor dining on your balcony is the perfect way to enjoy the amazing sunsets.  There are smart TVs in all bedrooms and living room.

Property amenities include an 800 ft fishing pier available to guests of Amelia by the Sea with the bonus of NO FISHING LICENSE needed when fishing from this private, exclusive pier. There is a completely renovated oceanside swimming pool so you can get your sun there as well as on the beach.  If you want to get a workout there are 2 tennis courts available for your usage on a first come first serve basis.

You have so many options at this dream getaway: Swimming, biking, hiking, walking, shopping, historic sightseeing, local bar/music scene, local cuisine with fresh seafood, and much more! Whether it’s walking up and down the beautiful beaches, or historic downtown Fernandina Beach the choice is yours.

About the Complex: Amelia by the Seas is a gated complex with open parking for a MAXIMUM of 2 vehicles per unit. 
Quiet hours are in effect from 10 pm-9 am daily.

Beach condo stay

We had a great stay here.There was construction going on with the building during our stay that I would like to have known about ahead of time. Inside of the condo was nice. We were missing trash bags but owner brought some to us quickly. A few extra linens as well as toilet paper would have been handy also. Overall great location and enjoyed the fishing pier. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful condo

The condo was perfect, very nicely furnished and very clean. It was lovely to have a ground floor, with a balcony overlooking the sea. The sunrise in the morning was stunning. Loved being able to walk to the beach. Overall a wonderful stay

Beach Family Vacation

We enjoyed the clean and comfortable accommodations of this condo. We literally were steps away from the ocean and could hear the waves crashing at night when we left the windows open. Beach was clean and safe for young children.

Great Vacation

We’ve stayed at Amelia by the Sea a few times before. It’s great because my husband and son can fish, and my daughter and I can enjoy the beach and pool. The condo as well as the complex itself are convenient, safe, and clean. Definitely recommend.

We can't wait to come back!

Our stay was perfect in every way. The rooms were clean and well appointed, the bed was comfortable, and the access to the beach couldn't have been more convenient. The biggest highlight for me was the fishing pier. I went out every day and caught a wide variety of species. This was one getaway location that was incredibly hard to leave. We will definitely be back!

Access to Beach

This 1st floor condo was in the perfect location to go to the beach and pier. Except for one thing, the entrance to go to the the beach and pier was blocked by scaffolding on our back patio. This made it extremely inconvenient to get to the beach , since we had to go around thru the front door. Even though the property manager called us to tell us on Friday, the place had already been booked. The condo was great though. It was clean and very well stocked with day to day needs.

I have stayed at many a condo on Amelia Island and just found the perfect one. I struggle to think of one aspect or detail I would change. The renovation is so nice I came away with a few notes for my own home. Thank you so much for a lovely TGiving week!

Amazing beach vacation!

First time at this property; however, been vacationing at Amelia Island/Fernandina Beach for over 40 years. Love this condo! LOVED the location, private pier, gated community, convenient access to a beautiful beach, comfort of the condo, and so much more!! All amenities were excellent! We enjoyed being on the first floor and the patio being accessible to the pool deck area. We were able to still enjoy seeing the ocean from the condo while not having to utilize the elevator or stairs. Watched the sunrise from the patio, the beach, and the pier while visiting. And, fortunately we were able to park in the spot just outside our condo everyday! Will definitely vacation here again!

Overall fair but needs some work.

Was a bit disappointed this stay. Since our last visit a year ago this property has shown some wear. Electrical outlet in bedroom didn’t work, toilet seats looked scratched and dirty, and sofa and curtains were extremely worn. Overall the unit could use a good deep cleaning. If this were a discount hotel I would have been ok with some things not being right but for this enormous price, I would expect things to be near perfect.

When we arrived the door was stuck so we called Property Manager who told us to pull the door to us as we entered the numbers. Upon entering we notice a Oreo cookie wrapped on the floor in the living room, a dirty wash cloth in the shower, a pair of sunglasses under the chair in master bedroom, the table in the living area had something all over it sticky as well as the counter in the kitchen and the floors apparently had not been swept. So we basically cleaned the condo so we could stay. When I reached out to the owner several days into our stay they told me they would have had someone come and clean if we had let them know. I felt like they had had an opportunity prior to our arrival so why be bothered with someone coming in if it was the same person as before. We have stayed in this complex for several years but we will not be returning nor recommending it to our family and friends.
