Great place for short or long stay. Came for the July 4th car launch. The views from this place are stunning! Found myself just watching the sunlight dance across the mountain view for hours

Wonderfully serene location with everything we needed & views that were stunning! Host thought of all the little & big things we could need/want, including snacks, toiletries, & laundry. We had a lovely time at this rental. It had everything we needed and more. It was easy to check in, the WiFi was good, and the views were fantastic. I would certainly stay here again in the future.

We really enjoyed our stay at Glacier View. Check in was easy, however Maps took us across the street to Sheep Mtn Resort. They gave us the proper directions. The address is plainly posted on the road. Shana left us fresh eggs, moose burger and sausage jalapeno sticks. Snacks and coffee was also graciously provided. The scenery was spectacular. Thank you, Shana for a great experience!

Every turn in the road in Alaska brings you a new breathtaking view, but having said that, the view from the cozy apartment at Glacier View just has to rank in the upper handful of sites we have visited. It is truly unmatched. In addition to having EVERYTHING you could wish for, and being wonderfully decorated, our host was easy to deal with and promptly answered any question we had. It is pet-friendly, and our pet dog, Carly, had plenty of room for her walks. Even though Glacier View is in the middle of the wilderness area along Glen Hwy, there are restaurants only a short distance down the road in either direction. In short, it is a wonderful place to stay.

Nice place beautiful scenery

My family has stayed here before, which is the best indicator of how nice of a place this is. Kitchen is well furnished. No problems to report at all. We stayed for our snowmachine ride weekend. Trails are easily accessible and hosts are very helpful in guiding us on the where to gos.

Mountain nirvana

This is a charming apartment feel private and charming stay. Windows everywhere and even a balcony to soak up the unbelievable beauty of 360 degrees of glacier mountain. Quiet… it snowed hard during my stay! Special treats from the owners was the icing on the cake.

Very homey - all of the extra touches were very nice (eggs from the yard chickens, snacks, plenty of spices, kitchen utensils). Lovely and interesting art and decorations. Comfortable beds (regular bed and sofa sleeper - didn't use the futon). We wish there was a sign-in book! Maybe we missed it.Easy check-in and check-out, good wifi.I saw some reviews about lots of mosquitos. This seems to have been a light year overall - we didn't have a single mosquito and spent as much time as possible on the porch.I hope to come back with my husband this winter to enjoy the views again with snow!Thank you for allowing pets. I know it's an extra risk and I love being able to travel with my pups.

I was born and raised in Anacortes WA. When I was 20 yrs old I bought a one way ticket to Alaska never been there before in my life with my then 3 yr old son and have left since that was 12 yrs ago. Since then I had a daughter and me and my boyfriend both lovers of the outdoors would love to open our doors for people all over the world who want a true Alaskan experience. A place that makes you feel like you are truly out in the mountains.

My property is extremely unique and you won't find anything else like it. The original owners bought the land and started building the property back in the early 1980s and lived here till I bought it in 2019 because the couple just couldn't maintain it anymore. If you want a place that feels like you are away from it all this is it. From sipping coffee from the balcony taking in the mountain views. To the tons of trails at your foot steps for cross country skiing or snow shoeing in the winter or bring your side by side or four wheeler in the summer.
