Partial week rentals opened up in June and July! Why consider a hotel when you can stay ON THE CHESAPEAKE BAY! Beach cottage on the Chesapeake Bay! Unlike other rentals at Silver Beach our beach is part of the property and not a “ community beach”. Private beach just steps from your front door swimming, sun bathing, fishing, kayaking/SUP, campfires, and more. Renovations include kitchen, flooring, interior, whole home water filtration, and more! Simple cottage with combined living/dining area, 2 bedrooms, sofa bed and bath. Full screened in porch facing the bay, deck on rear of property, outside shower, and gazebo overlooking beach. This property is cute & clean, it is a beach cottage not a luxury resort. The views and experience are amazing and will be enjoyed by couples & families alike! Weekly bookings Saturday to Saturday Late June/July/August. 2–4 night stays other months. Monthly/extended stay furnished rental November/February/March $99 a night and 40 % or more off when booking a month! Security cameras on front and rear of cottage. Please reach out with questions.

The house was warm and cozy with a full kitchen (minus dishwasher), nice furniture inside and outside, TVs and comfortable beds. We loved the fire pit, chairs and wooden canopy area by the beach. The hostess was very responsive and easy to work with. We loved the area and hope to return someday soon.

Cute little beach house that is nicely remodeled and comfortable. Well appointed with nice furniture and fully equiped kitchen.Private beach is just across a small lawn area so very easy access. We were the only ones on the beach.The large screened in back porch that faces the bay is worth the price of admission and an awesome place to relax and watch the sunsets. It is well appointed with a large table, separate small table and huge sectional sofa. We enjoyed our stay and plan to come back again!

Perfect week, weather was great with the exception of one day. I think we will make this a yearly trip. House was perfect, location great, loved the gazebo and the beach. Not going to lie wish we could have stayed longer.

Wonderful little beach cottage! Property description in listing is accurate. Communication with Jennifer was easy and she responded quickly. Kitchen is well stocked. Loved the porch facing the bay (great for naps), the beach shelter, and the beach itself. The beach really is only a few steps away, nice white sand, great for walks. Don't hesitate to stay here!

This is our 3rd year staying at this cottage on Silver Beach and we will be back for more. The beach is the draw -- it's right outside the back door and absolutely perfect. The house is cozy and when we pull up to the front, we feel like we're home. It's a private, quiet area. We really appreciate that we've seen upgrades made one year to the next. That shows the owner cares -- a real plus.

Perfect spot for a family vacation

The host and property are great. Thats why this was our 2nd year booking in a row. This vacation home is just big enough to comfortably sleep my family of 5. We love the private beach and excellent views. The host provides more than expected. We look forward to booking again next year

Perfect small family getaway

This location is perfect for small families as the beach is small and water level is low for a ways out. The sunsets are INCREDIBLE! The host is very responsive. Would highly recommend this spot.

Perfect getaway

My husband, daughter and her friend spent an extended weekend here and it was perfect! Only suggestion would be to offer a master bathroom or at least another toilet option. Back porch was amazing but would be better if turned into a master bath! Communication with owner was perfect!

Retreat

The cottage was a perfect get-away. The host was quickly responsive to our questions by text. For our stay in mid-October, it was like our own cozy world. The rooms are decorated in a beachy way, but there were plenty of blankets too. Kitchen was well-stocked, with full size stove and fridge. It was chilly, but the Bay was still beautiful, and sunsets filled the whole horizon. We even ate on the porch one night, at the full-sized table to watch as it went down

Perfect Getaway

This was a wonderful short vacation for us. The house is attractive and has everything that is needed for a comfortable stay. A perfect space for a couple. The area is also fun to explore....Chincoteague, Cape Charles, fun restaurants and wineries are all within easy reach. The water is beautiful and the white sandy beach very private. We really enjoyed the screened in porch as well as the awesome Adirondack rockers in the gazebo, just steps away from the beach. This was a very relaxing, enjoyable vacation spot.

Relaxing vacation

Excellent cottage in a quiet remote neighborhood in Exmore Va. It has its own beach on the bay with a pavilion for shade. Great screened in porch to watch the sunset every evening. We stayed for a week and had a great time. Highly Reccomend!

Great Getaway

The cottage was just as described. We had a peacefully relaxing week away from the maddening crowds. We were basically the only people around. The sunsets were very pretty. We enjoyed sitting on the beach, under the pavillion, and on the back porch. We saw lots of critters like dolphin or porpoises (not sure which they were). They would go up the coast early each morning. We also saw lots of fish, skates / rays, some jellyfishes, and hermit crabs. We would certainly recommend this cottage for those thay enjoy silence and solitude. Jenifer was very responsive (almost immedaitely) to any qjestions we had.

Beach Cottage

We truly enjoyed our stay in Exmore. The cottage was just enough for us and our 2 children. The beach and the water were clean and the sunsets were amazing. It was quiet and the location of about an hour from Chincoteague and Norfolk was great for day trips. We had a wonderful stay here.

Family getaway

Perfect location for our quiet, relaxing family getaway! Making memories with my kids on the same beach I frequented as a child with my family. Beach access during high and low tide, delightful sandbars, amazing sunsets. The cottage is perfect for a small family, nicely updated, cozy, air conditioned (!), with a large screened in porch for family meals together and game night, an open air back deck for watching sunsets if the mosquitos aren't too bad. The outdoor shower makes for easy clean up after a day at the beach with kids. You won't regret staying here!
