Perfect Vacation Spot!!!

We had an absolute blast at Pelican Lookout! It was a beautiful spot right on the channel overlooking the water. The pool and hottub were great to have and were heated to 90 degrees which made for great night swimming. The outdoor bar was super convenient and the fitepit was nice to sit by at night. There was a crab trap in the garage that we caught several Blue Crabs using raw chicken meat as bait (kids were super excited!) and fishing poles that were available to use to fish right off the dock. We stopped at Bait Daddys right up the road to get live shrimp. I highly recommend this spot and we plan to stay again!!!! The hosts were great! They were super responsive and answered all of our questions!

Amazing house with best views

The outdoor space on this home is top notch. Large pool for bayside, pool and hot tub can be heated - pool toys aplenty - kayaks for the bay as well. Awesome gas fireplace with comfy chairs tucked back for privacy - bar area with outdoor TV as well…. Views of the bay - perfection. Interior of the home matches exterior space as well - great layout with everything one could need. Host was so responsive and helpful. We will be staying here again. 5 stars

Wonderful place

If your looking for something for a great family get away this is it! We had 8 total people (two families of 4) and felt very blessed with the room the Pelican provided. Th outdoor activities are plentiful with the pool and canal available at your feet standing off the pool deck. Location is perfect. It's not in the heart of the tourism district of Galveston, but close enough you don't hesitate running in for an ice cream cone after dinner. The host are very helpful and make sure your experience is top notch. We had no issues from check in to departure. NM

Great place to stay - very clean and beautiful

3 couples stayed there for the weekend and it was perfect. Obviously plenty of room for others though. Pool and bar downstairs were a huge hit and we will stay here again.

Perfect for 3 generation stay

We celebrated my parent's 60th Anniversary at the house. It was perfect! There is the BEST BREEZE that comes right down the side of the house by the pool. Even though it was August, we were so comfy hanging outside all day poolside. Owner was super easy to work with the and the house is just as described - no complaints at all from our group and would book it again in a heartbeat!

AMAZING!

We could not have been happier with our stay at Pelican Lookout! The beautiful property was very clean, warm and extremely welcoming! The beds were super comfortable and the kitchen was great - had plenty of space. We even had a private chef come in one night and he raved about how well stocked the kitchen was. Ok so the highlight was the pool and the location of Pelican Lookout! We had so much fun watching the paddle boards, kayaks, and boats go by. Everyone was so friendly and gave a big wave as they went by and some stopped to say hello. We basically stayed in the pool 10 hours a day - a dream! They even have 2 kayaks there at the house to use - which we did every morning. Once we downloaded the app you had access to everything. One touch of a button and the hot tub would start up or the firepit. Easy peasy!! The host was amazing and even let us check in a little early! She was always readily available if needed. We HIGHLY recommend Pelican Lookout! We will definitely return!!!

Great Family Stay

We stayed here in May 2024, with our two children, their spouses and three Grands. We had a great stay. The weather was rainy and cloudy on day one but the swimming pool, and very well equipped outdoor entertainment area made it a great day. The nights were especially fun with the large outdoor fire pit. Where this house is situated affords great channel views and is actually on the point inside the channel. It’s very close to the beach which we enjoyed when the weather cleared up. Nearby is anything you might need, but far enough out of town to be quiet and peaceful. The house is very well equipped with everything you need to cook and enjoy your stay. Fishing off the dock, swimming, enjoying coffee on the deck, sitting by the fire, or just resting, it was all a great time. There is a boat slip, but we didn’t bring our boat and opting for beach time instead. This house is well laid out with plenty of room to spread out. The outside area has a lot of space to accommodate a large family with kids. Thanks for a great time. The Wagners.

Bunko Babes Fun in the Sun!

Our Bunko group gathered for a fun weekend and we loved this house!! The pool and hot tub and fire pit were all excellent! The house is gorgeous and fit our 10 person group very well. We can’t wait to book again! The kayaks were fun to use!
