Enjoy the sprawling Hocking Hills Countryside at Golden Acres Lodge. Nestled among 40 rolling acres right around the corner from Hocking Hills State Park, this 2023 built luxury log home will take your breath away. Golden Acres is a private retreat that will comfortably accommodate 26 guests. Eight large bedrooms. 7.5 baths and upscale lodge-inspired interiors make this Hocking Hills vacation rental a spacious setting for a family holiday, corporate off-site meeting or large group gathering.

You will have plenty of space to spread out, over 6500 square feet! Numerous living areas including a main floor living room centered around the gorgeous 2 story stone fireplace and full wall of windows. The basement rec room features a pool table, air hockey and lounge area. To top off the indoor spaces there is a movie theatre where you can kick up your feet after a day exploring Hocking Hills and take in a movie on the 135" screen!

Outdoors the expansive deck and covered paver patio overlook the forest. After a day on the trails, you’ll be sure to enjoy the hot tub, outdoor shower, and outdoor living space. Explore the property on our trails or throw a line in the fishing pond. Gather the group and get competitive on the bocce ball court or over a game of cornhole.

Enjoy cooking for the group in the fully stocked kitchen. Double ovens, range, microwave and all the other small appliances you could dream of. Or take the meal prep outside to the gas grill. We can also provide catering recommendations if you prefer to leave the cooking to someone else.

We own and operate this lodge ourselves along with our 4 other properties. We truly enjoy providing your group with the most unforgettable Hocking Hills experience, one in which you will make lifetime memories. We have a full time maintenance man and the lodge is inspected thoroughly before every stay to make sure everything is just right! We had a great time at Golden Acres Lodge for our family reunion. Beautiful bedrooms with adjoining bathrooms are one of the best features of the Lodge that attracted us. Sarah and Chad are the best hosts! Communications were helpful and seamless. We appreciated all of the many wonderful elements of the Lodge and the property.

The property was gorgeous and SO much storage. We had a private chef come and the storage space and two fridges, was perfect to have. I would go back again! We even had a little issue with the theater and the response time from the host was speedy! Dont miss out on taking a walk on the 40 acres!

Spectacular lodge and setting

Retirees Braving the Elements

This property was incredible. There were 14 of us aged 65-82 and we ventured a few hours from home for a grand adventure (we just didn’t know when we booked months ago that wind chills would be 20 below zero!). The cabin was very beautiful, clean and spacious. We were all very pleased with the accommodations.

Beautiful property

The home is beautiful and the entire property is really nice. We had 6 couples and we had plenty of space and our own bathroom. The only problem we had was there was water on the carpet in one of the basement bedrooms and if smelled musty down there. The pond area and walking trail were nice as well. We’d stay again for sure

Great couples getaway

Beautiful house, great layout, plenty of space, and lots to do. We loved the Bocce ball pit! Tons of fun memories and friendly competition with a simple ball tossing game. This house was VERY clean.

Absolutely wonderful!

The lodge and property were beautiful. Everything was so clean, and we loved having the linens and towels furnished. Plenty to do on-site. The kitchen was phenomenal as well as the well-stocked cupboards. None of us (18) wanted to leave!

Great Vacation

We lived our time at Golden Acres. It was our annual family trip with all of our children and grandchildren. Brand new house with every amenity possible. Games, firepit, hot tub. We had a blast.

We had a group of 13 moms and their 8th grade sons stay for 3 nights. The property is great for such a large group, as there are plenty of spaces for group activities and lots of room to spread out. The boys took advantage of the fishing pond, bocce ball, movie theatre, hot tub and pool table. The cabin was very clean and well-appointed. Plenty of towels and toilet paper! We used the kitchen for every meal. Beds were comfortable and there are enough bathrooms to accommodate everyone without a wait. We had a satellite connection issue and a blown fuse during our stay, but Sarah responded immediately and solved our problems. A 10-15 minute drive to excellent hiking. Several members of our group are considering coming back with their extended families. We all loved the home. Not a complaint from any one of our 26-person group!

Fantastic Hocking Hills Home

We had a wonderful stay at Golden Acres! With 10 adults, there was plenty of room for everyone and tons of room to spare! The house was super clean and very well appointed - it had everything you could need! From booking to check out, the owner was very responsive and easy to work with! Would definitely go back!!!
