Cozy cottage

This place was so clean and cozy! My husband, daughter and I stayed for a week and it was lovely! The king bed was so comfortable and this place has everything you could possibly want or need and was very close to everything! I felt like there was lots of room to put our clothes and shoes, we never felt cramped. The host was very responsive and even gave us recommendations. We would definitely stay here again!

Nice place in a sketchy area.

Inside of unit is comfortable and pretty well stocked if one cares to cook. The space is the lower unit of a salon/insurance company. There is only a parking lot and no yard. You wouldn’t want to spend any time outside other than perhaps walking past the abandoned run down motel to get to Great Harvest Breads or Grocery outlet. On the bright side the shower is powerful, bed comfortable, and the host was happy to adjust the AC to our liking. Granted, the location is convenient, but I personally would prefer a place that offers an opportunity to relax outside. This place in an improved neighborhood would be a 10.

Super cute

Super cute little place. Good location great little base of operations for exploring Boise. Close enough to the airport that it wasn’t that inconvenient of a drive. Considering being under two businesses that were closed at the time we ran into no issues.

Bad communication

Poor communication, the host provided only one sheets. Which were not even very clean and seemed like they had a bit of stains on them. I couldnt reach him. Can not control the temperature of the house.

A little disappointed

We planned on staying a week to visit my Dad in the hospital but my Father passed away the night we arrived. It was really disappointing to show up to the basement apartment and discover there was no Futon just an air mattress which had a leak in it. We had to hunt down the owners to get instructions for check in which was also disappointing. We survived the night and left the place early the next morning. We reached out to see if they could offer us some of the money back but never heard back from them. If you are just traveling as a couple I am sure this place will work.

You can’t judge a book by it’s cover

When we pulled up to the property we were a little skeptical, but it was perfect! Super cute inside, very comfortable bed, and the whole apartment was a perfect size for the two of us. We would definitely stay here again!

Great unit, roomy and clean. Not for those that want to sleep in.

Very roomy and clean unit. Great location for getting to downtown and the river. If you like to sleep in, this may not be the place for you as there are 2 businesses above the unit. One is a hair salon that got noisy about 8:45am. It does have air conditioning but you don't have control over it. You have to go through the owner. FYI. To start the stove you have to hold a lock control for 3 seconds for the stove to work.

Overall pretty good

Unfortunately, there was no futon as listed in the description for our daughter to sleep on. There was an inflatable mattress but it had a leak and my daughter ended up having to sleep on the couch

Wedding in Boise

We came from Nashville for a wedding in Boise. The location of the unit is so close to everything. You can Uber everywhere for a decent price. There’s not much around the unit, but the unit itself is very clean and comfortable and I would stay there again. They were wonderful about letting me get into the unit earlier because my flight was early. Loved my first trip to Boise.

Almost perfect!

The host was very responsive and everything was great and as advertised. My husband stayed here for a weeklong visit with our sons. We chose this place because of its location, but we really do prefer having a washer-dryer, so we probably won’t choose this place for our next visits. Since it was just my husband, it wasn’t as big a deal, but he would have preferred not doing his laundry at my son’s place. Also, we prefer having direct control over the temp settings. Since it’s a basement room, the thermostat is located upstairs and he had to ask the residents there to adjust. Having the fan was helpful. It gets hot in Boise!

We stayed one night and usually have difficulty sleeping away from home. However, we slept great. Place was clean, bed was comfortable and it was quiet.

Convenient location

For us the location was good...close to our son's home. Due to the heating and a/c being connected to the business upstairs, we couldn't adjust the temperatures. Instructions were that we could call and ask for the host to change it. The shower was small and the bathroom was on the opposite side of the apartment... Just a minor inconvenience. The place was very clean and furnished nicely. Pricing was another plus for us.

Comfortable and Cozy!

We loved staying at this property. It had everything we needed after a long day at the softball fields. Very comfortable bed and furniture. The owners were also quick with communication. Thanks for everything!

Quick Trip to Boise

Rented this property for 2 nights. Clean and well furnished, comfortable bed and sofa. Did not receive check in code ahead but owner responded quickly. Would stay here again.

Great property not so good manager

The property was a very clean and a cute little spot. However, when we arrived we found out that the property owner never sent us the details to get into the house. We tried calling the owner and sending them a message and they didn't respond. We ended up having to get a hotel for the night. The next day they didn't call us back and we had to call VRBO in order to get in contact with them. VRBO had to call them several times to get in contact with them. The owners tried to make it right by giving us a refund for the night. However, they didn't even send us a refund to cover the cost of one night at the property with taxes and fees. Let alone cover the cost of the hotel we had to book at the last minute because they never sent us the property details. There is also a lot of foot traffic during the day because the owners run a salon above the apartment.

Cute and functional

It was a nice little place that was functional, had everything we would need and was affordable. The listing did have a few things that were not accurate. It says there is a hot tub and futon, but neither is present, however there is an air mattress. This was a non issue for us, but just to communicate what to expect. We would stay again.
