This spacious mountain home perched well above 3000 ft. will make you feel right at home. Viewing spectacular mountain scenery off the back deck, cuddling up on the sofa with a good book & creating culinary delights in the well stocked kitchen are some of our favorites. DuPont Forest is only a 5 min. drive. Hiking to waterfalls, biking & horseback riding are just a few of the many activities to enjoy. Hendersonville, just 10 mi. away & Asheville 30, make this a sweet spot for coming home to.
The space

Come for the View and Stay for the Comfort!
Both bedrooms are on the lower floor. There is a full bath on both floors. (Shower on main floor. Tub /shower combo on lower floor) The full size washer and dryer are located downstairs.

The 3rd floor and deck are not accessible to guests. This is the owner's private bedroom and supply area. There are no interior photos of this space listed on this website.

I would like to say, very awesome place to stay. View was awesome in every direction. Place very clean close to many things. The Prima host were very accommodating and easy to get in touch with. Will definitely book again.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house! The views were spectacular and the house was very clean and cozy! The kitchen was very well stocked with clean well kept dishes, pots and utensils. I must include this because it was such a thoughtful gesture. When we arrived, we were greeted with a Thank You note, some candies and a wonderful smelling candle! Our hosts, Becky and Dane did a great job making us feel welcome and looked after by sending messages to us to make sure all was well once we checked in and encouraged us to let them know if we needed anything. They were very helpful and kind. Excellent customer care!!!

Weekend Getaway

My husband and I enjoyed our recent stay! The views were amazing, and the home was clean and well maintained. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking, and we enjoyed our meals looking out at the mountains. We spent time in nearby Hendersonville during the day (loved the pinball museum!) and relaxed watching movies in the evenings. A great stay and we're looking forward to another visit!

Great Views / Great Communication

Thank you Becky and Dane. The house made for a great weekend of Mountain bike racing at Ride Rock Creek. Took about 15min to get to the track. The views from the property are unbeatable. The house has everything you might need. One item I didn't care for was walking through the main bedroom to get up stairs. But Manageable! We had some internet issues but again manageable! The owners sent a left behind credit Card which was appreciated! Thanks again!!!

Spectacular for real...

This home is impressive at every turn... The views are breathtaking, but everything else is as perfect as it can be. The comfortable yet elegant furnishings, the high quality linens, the beautiful coffee mugs, and the well-stocked kitchen set you right at ease. The convenience of a full spice cabinet, condiments, tea and coffee, etc. as well as filtered water!! make it all the more easy to relax as soon as you walk in the door. In addition, a FOB is provided for private road access that cuts the drive down to Hendersonville to only about 15 minutes. Recommendations for visitors: I would only bring one car into the driveway / carport. It's easy enough to back up and get out with one, but getting in and out is a bit tricky with two. However, there's ample room on the side of the road where you can safely park. I can't wait to return... 3

Camp visit

We stayed at this wonderful retreat when we visited our daughter who was working at Camp Greystone for the summer. What an amazing view and comfortable home! We loved it and enjoyed cooking dinner (go to the grocery store before you climb the mountain.) I would definitely recommend!

Some of the things we really appreciated: dove soap in the bathroom, lots of condiments for cooking, the view!!!, Bible verses through the home, eating dinner on the deck, my son loved the games and the corn hole, beautiful coffee mugs, water bottles-which were such a special delight to find because I forgot mine from California and really needed one when we hiked, very clean home, hot water, the sweet welcome gifts! -really everything we could need. My husband said “I think it’s the best VRBO we’ve ever stayed at”. When we come back we’ll certainly want to be at the cabin. Absolutely regular stays if we move to the Greenville area!

Beautiful mountain views made for a relaxing week!

We really enjoyed our stay here in this cabin high above Hendersonville. The location is amazing, but it does pose some restrictions for older people trying to take walks or bike rides because the terrain and road is so steep. However, this is an incredibly well-equipped home - probably the best we've ever stayed in. We had a very relaxing week, and the owner was so helpful!

Wonderful Mountain Retreat

We very much enjoyed our stay. The back deck and the view is fantastic. The family room is very comfortable for entertaining or spending time together as a family. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking and the grill is nice as well. We would stay here again for sure.

Five stars!

Everything from the check-in to the checkout and everything in between was absolutely perfect. The mountains were absolutely gorgeous, and although our stay was short, they were the most refreshing scenery us New Yorkers needed. Everything was so well stocked from dishes to spices to coffee and tea, they had it all! We said we will 100% come back and stay much longer! Our 1.5 year old enjoyed bubbles off the deck and downtown Hendersonville. 10/10

Fantastic in every way

Overall fantastic stay. Great location with plenty of things to do. The cabin itself was very clean and well taken care of. The host left a gift which was very much appreciated. The views were amazing and changed each day and night. We would highly recommend staying here-you won’t be disappointed!

Just Wow

The cabin is very comfy and has all you need. Beautiful views of the mountains and very high up. Private and great location. Has private road to Hendersonville. The owners are very good and fast response to any problems.

Mountain Vista

We dined, danced and drained coffee and wine on the lovely deck. The view from the adarondak chairs was second to none. Very homey space. Enjoyed our time there very much!

MTB Nationals in Zarconia

We all really enjoyed our 7 day stay at the cabin! Very pleased with everything with the house and the hospitality of the hosts. Kitchen is well stocked which is great for cooking and eating in. I would highly recommend this property and if we return for next years MTB Nationals we will plan to stay here again.

Incredible Views and Rental

Everything about this property is outstanding! The views were breathtaking- we loved having coffee on the deck in the morning and watching multiple fireworks displays across the region on the 4th. The house is beautifully decorated and had everything we needed to cook our meals when we decided to stay in. Don’t hesitate to treat yourself to this wonderful rental.

Spring Getaway

We enjoyed our stay at this home! It was comfortable, clean, and had all amenities needed. The views are simply amazing and it was so peaceful. Driving up and down the mountain (or anywhere in the area) was always an adventure but it isn’t far from the different parks and cities in the area.

We love hiking, biking, scuba diving exploring and getting away from it all out in nature. We hope you love the mountain house as much as we do and make lots of wonderful memories with your loved ones. THE WOW MOMENT when you experience the views for the first time is why I love to host!

We actually vacationed here in Oct. of '22 and was texting the owner and was "sort of " teasing when I asked her if she would consider selling. It turned out that she had been wanting to sell and now the timing was right. The rest is history!

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

You won't find more breath taking views in Western NC. We walked in and straight through to the back deck, ignoring the beautiful interior and our jaws dropped. We were speechless observing the beauty of God's creation which changed moment by moment. We think the house is pretty cozy too and feels like a long warm hug.
